young management & mechanics lacking experience caused me to stop using their services. They could not diagnose a worn universal joint !!!

I had the opportunity to stop into Ray and Randy's Auto Repair on a cold rainy day when my car was giving me a problem. Years ago the place was owned by Henry and was our go to family mechanic. So I decided if the new owners were half as good I would be happy. You know how everyone wants a local mechanic who is trustworthy and affordable? Well that is now Ray and Randy's. Now Randy isn't there anymore but Ray and his team are right on site, available, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. They let me know as a small business, customer satisfaction is tops. So here I am, walking in without an appointment and needing help, and they did. They took care of my issue and got me on my way. I really wish I lived in the area because this shop would be servicing all my vehicles. Good people, good service, good prices. read more

Quality is good. Value is kinda high. The Service requested that we did was for only an oil change and they did more then that. They don't let us know if something else needs to be fixed they just fix it anyway. read more

This is a good and honest place to take your car. They always get me in quick when I need help, they have honest and hard working mechanics and receptionist ready to answer your questions, prices are great and when you pick up your car you'll be greeted by an extremely welcoming team. If I can give 10 stars, I would! I stopped here on a cross-country trip heading back home. I had an emergency in Ephrata, PA, and needed to add differential fluid to my car, ASAP. I stopped by another shop and told them my emergency, they didn't care; the soonest they can get me in was a week later! Then I stopped by Ray & Randy's Auto Repair. I told them my situation, I am on the road back home, with wife and kids, and need to add fluid to my rear differential, ASAP. The owner took care of me and my family! He quickly brought in my vehicle and got her done and got me and my family on the road as soon as possible. Thank you for taking care of us! Will always remember this! read more

We've been going here for years but I'm not sure I can even express how absolutely ridiculous our current experience has been. We took our vehicle for an inspection and oil change. We started smelling oil and had to take it back. No one called to tell us what it was as they usually do so when we picked it up we were given the cost and the reason why. The gasket on the oil filter. Ok but how did you miss this the week prior? A week later we smell oil again but we are going out of town and can't do anything about it. We called yesterday. The receptionist stated that didn't sound right and to bring it in immediately. We had asked to talk to the owner or a mechanic and the receptionist refused. Again. We picked it up. SAME ISSUE! Again the receptionist refused to let us speak to the owner. Said it wasn't her problem and that we could talk to the owner. The same one she refused to let us talk to earlier today! Now I'm out a few hundred on the same issues. Terrible customer service and we have to go in during working hours to try and catch the owner. Never. Coming. Back. If this doesn't smell like a scam to you I don't know what does. read more

After bending an axel from a slide on some ice, I had AAA tow the car to Ray & Randys Auto & Truck Repair. Ray, the man who runs the place, said the parts would be in the next day. 3 days later I had to go to the building as the phone was busy for over an hour. He explained that not all the parts had come in yet which is why the car was not ready and he would have it done by 10am the next day. The next day he slaps me with a bill of $1,700 and says that he doesn't take insurence. After I paid him, he said the alignment wasn't completed and I would need to come back to have it done. The wheel that was worked on makes a weird sound when I am on the highway. The overall experience was poor and I would not suggest this place to anyone needing work done on their car. read more

My car broke down on the way to a wedding and I was in a tough bind. Ray & Randy were kind enough to take my car in when no other auto shop could fit me into their schedule. this shop is terrible. my truck was towed there by aaa and after months of attempts and returning the car (not to mention $3k of expense) the truck no longer runs. they said they offer a warranty but when i called their warranty provider, they said they don't cover internal engine repairs. what a joke! stay clear of these guys. read more
