She likes going to Chapman "because they are always nice to her because she doesn't know a lot about cars". $800 of her oil change was "LABOR"!!! Nothing beside that requested service and perhaps filters should have costed at most under $200 total! This is not the first time they have deceived her into work not needed, yet she goes back "because they are so nice to her." To the owner and general mgr of Chapman Ford: Recognize your customer, who they are, what is actually needed. Honest service and fair pricing would gain you repeat business. Stealing from the elderly or any customer, will continue to perpetuate the bad business reputation you have. Not only will I never recommend this company but will go out of my way to ensure others know about this.

They said that the pigtail that the light bulb plugs into had melted. It had melted. Total estimate for the headlight repair was $1,463 and the estimate didn't add up. I said no way! I went to Autozone and replaced just the pigtail and light bulb for just $68.85. It took me just half an hour to complete the repair. I needed to replace the light bulb too because Chapman Ford removed it when I said "No way. Maybe it was burned out. Maybe it wasn't. But they didn't do the repair, so they should have left the bulb in the car. I did complain about them replacing the diver's side when I had tested the lights immediately prior to taking it in. They said it must have gone out on my way there.
