Only suggestions would be more and better quality TP, paper towels, and garbage bags. More bathroom towels would also be appreciated for a longer stay. Several of the elevators kept breaking down which was concerning. There is also no designated pet relief area outside the building which made potty breaks challenging for our two pups. There was a washer and dryer but no detergent provided. Also no access to the 28th floor pool and amenities. I was disappointed I wasn't able to use the dog wash. Otherwise a nice place for a staycation.

It's labeled as luxury, but the cleanliness, professionalism, and luxury end after the lobby. To summarize, staff is sexist, racist, and dismissive. The property is underwhelming and dirty. No new appliances. As far as the physical building, the front gate is broken every other week, leading the apartment to open the back gate which allows anyone in without a key (completely erasing the security of the building). I've attached pictures of pet waste and human trash left in the common areas of the apartment for reference. Please note, I took these pictures several days after first seeing the waste but management didn't care to send maintenance to clean. As far as the professionalism, the staff is not available to help with any true tenant matters such as the resident app not working or tenants harassing other tenants. I've experienced both issues numerous times, and it was left to me to find where the tenant lived and confront them on their behavior. There is no consistency on when rent is taken from your account DESPITE using auto-pay. Most times, rent is pulled from our account 12-14 days after the due date. There are plenty of true luxury apartments in Phoenix, please look for others and avoid the mess. Especially as a woman, I do not feel safe here because of the staff's negligence.

Even after moving out due to relocation, the customer service continues to be amazing. I recently contacted them almost two years after moving out and spoke with Ferman about something I needed assistance with. Ferman quickly agreed to help me and within 20 minutes, had sent over the information and forms that I requested. My entire experience with Proxy was and continues to be positive. I would recommend this community to anyone who is considering living there.

I have tons of natural light and can even see the sunset from my apartment! The entire building is new. Everything is literally so clean (even the trash room smells good LOL). It's a non smoking building so that's a plus! The leasing staff puts together a ton of "events" for the residents. Like catered food for first Friday, smoothies every Thursday, movie rental, etc. oh and you can even rent a bike (free). The mail room is also great. You can pick up a package at any hour of the day (3am if you want) because of the Parcel Pending service they have. Super convenient...you just type in your code and boom, your package is there. Perfect location. Walking distance to so many restaurants and coffee/tea shops. As well as first Friday is literally a block away if even. Pool area is super cute...rooftop is nice too. Security at the front desk is one of the reasons I chose Proxy as well. Makes me feel safe knowing someone is downstairs. Love this place. After looking for months at many different apartments, I stumbled my way to Lexington on Central. My first thought was that these must be condos as they have a condo feel to them. With further investigation I discovered they were apartments for rent. After looking at what Lexington on Central had to offer, to my relief, my search was over. This gated, Clean & quiet complex was just what I was looking for. Yes, super quiet, right in the middle of uptown Phoenix. The complex has a weight room, spa, pool and an entertainment facility that you can rent for parties. Lexington on Central is also just steps away from the Light Rail. If you are looking for bargain accommodations , these will not be for you as rents are spendy. Spendy or not, sometimes you do get what you pay for.

The lack of communication and ongoing safety concerns have made this a very disappointing living experience. They upper management at the Lex also did not look into our situation. Upper management waited 60+ days for us to move out to respond and acted like they never saw my multiple emails, even though everyone was CC'd in the emails. They have no customer service at all especially when it comes to upper management. Would not recommend living here at all!!

Unfortunately, since being sold to a private equity firm in early 2025, the service has noticeably declined. The handover was disorganized and poorly executed. The new management team seems to consist mostly of temps who are either indifferent or clearly overwhelmed and under-resourced. Rent has increased by over $500 in the last five years, but what are we paying for? Service has gone downhill, maintenance is slower, and small but important resident services are being cut. One example: the previous management used to collect misdelivered Amazon packages left in the lobby and hold them safely in the office. Today, we received a message saying they will no longer do this. A small gesture, sure--but one that said, "we care." Now? It feels like we're being told not to expect much. It's hard not to conclude that the goal is to cut as many costs as possible and flip the property again. If you're comparing options, newer high-rises in the area may be a better value--this place is losing what made it special.

Nothing against this apartment building but, I wish these downtown apartments would include parking in the rent but, I'm assuming that the reason that they don't, is because there's not enough spaces for every unit and since we're in AZ most wouldn't care to park in a garage. If you have lots of company living in downtown, this would probably not be the place for you honestly. This was one of the most disappointing apartment tour experiences I've ever had…read more I scheduled an appointment to view the property on behalf of a friend who is relocating to Arizona and even confirmed the appointment before making the drive. Upon arrival, I spent nearly 20 minutes circling the property looking for parking. The designated office visitor spaces were occupied, including one handicap spot. While searching for parking, I called the office to let them know I was on-site but having difficulty finding a place to park. After finally finding metered parking and paying for it, I went into the office only to be told by Anaiyah that I was late and that she would not be able to show me the property. She then informed me that she had sent an email shortly before the appointment stating that I needed to be on time because she was short-staffed and would be combining tours. The problem is that I was driving and had already confirmed my appointment. It is unreasonable to expect someone who is actively traveling to an appointment to monitor last-minute emails. I also called the office to communicate my situation and received no flexibility or understanding. As a result, I wasted an entire day, fuel expenses, parking fees, and valuable time. I emailed management immediately afterward requesting a call, but never received a response. Unfortunately, this experience reflected a lack of professionalism and customer service. I had read some of the negative reviews before visiting and initially gave the property the benefit of the doubt. After my experience, I understand why those reviews exist. Based on how I was treated, I would not recommend this property to friends or family.

The theft occurred because management failed to place a lock on the door after I explicitly requested one. Furthermore, the fencing design makes it remarkably easy for an individual to reach through and unlock the latch. Despite these clear lapses in security and oversight, I have only received generic statements regarding non-liability and "thank you for your understanding." The lack of accountability makes it clear that Mark Taylor doesn't care about their residents or resident's belongings. Theft is a persistent issue here, ranging from missing packages to vehicle break-ins. There is the presence of junkies that hang around the building and the accumulation of trash in the hallways--which often goes uncollected despite valet trash charges--further contributing to the declining living conditions. But I doubt they would share any of that with you on your tour.
