I'm a somewhat reserved person who finds it hard to open up and feel safe with most people, but I felt completely comfortable with Mary. With Mary you get the best of both worlds. Not only is she highly skilled in what she does but she's also a woman of faith and offered me tons of biblical encouragement and insight that I badly needed. She is a midwife who believes in the bodies natural ability to heal, and to birth, but connects that with a wonderment and reverence for God. She is highly skilled in herbal medicine and was able to offer me many mixes to naturally and safely alleviate any concern/ discomfort I had during my pregnancy. My birth went faster than I expected but she was there in perfect time! Even during the most intense moments of labor, her touch and voice were so soothing.
