I can safely say that this is not one of them. The food and coffee are fairly priced and well prepared. The addition of baked goods and local packaged foods is a nice addition as well. I can specifically recommend the grinder and chai (but all of the other coffee we tried was great as well). The breakfast sandwiches were slightly blander than I would have liked, but they were still good and certainly fresh. The staff were very polite and professional. As for the décor, I appreciate the art calling back the history of the building as a feed mill. Overall, the restaurant both inside and out gives a modern-rustic feeling.

I ended up with a small vanilla dish with sprinkles, the small at Jacks would be considered a large at other creamy whips. Next time I am hiking in the area, I will definitely stop at Jacks.
