I can't always afford (or wish) to buy two of an item just to get a price break. Also, the hours have been cut back a little but that's easy to work around. And because it was taking so long people in front of people were leaving. Ashley was working all by herself and going as fast as she could. This is no fault of hers but kohls should have had another person helping her. Not only that but her coworkers were walking by not assisting and one even asked "aren't you supposed to be done?" And she was working passed her scheduled time with no one helping her. She was super apologetic to the customers and very helpful. If a management reads this please know Ashley who was working 4/6/25 who has glasses and dark hair was doing a great job. However, there needs to be a team meeting on teamwork because even though people are in kohls for Amazon returns, they weren't mad at amazon they were mad at kohls. While shopping: Something I also noticed while shopping around the store was the lack of organization. Almost everything I picked up was not in the right section or completely different brand so I had no idea if it was the price it said on the rack. This was all throughout the store. I think the team should go through the store to reorganize and fold things. It made me not able to find what I was looking for. I did ask an employee if they had a certain pair of pants in a smaller size that I found in a random section and they checked on a device and said they did but when they lead me over to where it was supposed to be we couldn't find them and there were more random things in that section. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get those pants because of this.

I can never get anyone to help me and it almost seems as though they will walk away if they think you might need to ask a question. I also dont understand the whole "This item is 40% off" but it might only be on sale online OR in store but not both. The super cash is also confusing because it says you can use it on anything but there are actually a list of exclusions. I have also had several issues with customer service at this location. Making a return to the store that you bough online usually ends with 7 people helping you because no one knows what they're doing. At one point I was told that a receipt showing my return and the money I would be getting back would be emailed to me so I sat in my car and waited for the email... it never came so I had to go back in try again. The store itself is usually clean the the dressing rooms are well maintained. Its just typically a pretty frustrating shopping experience.

The gentleman owner was keeping the store open after hours when he saw the large group of bike riders milling about at Odie's. Well, that garnered him at least two sales. Many small stores in small towns such as Ely look the part of someone just trying to follow their dream, with little preparation and know-how, but this shop is different. It is well decorated, with careful thought as to how merchandise should be displayed. It is not a bare bones, quickly thrown together place, ala those that are just open for the Christmas season. You know the type. They have a nice selection of clothes geared to Hawkeye fans, Cyclone fans, and bike riders as well. The clothes for cyclists are not biking clothes, rather normal shirts, etc with a cycling motif. They also had merchandise very suitable for baby showers. We made a return trip two days later to pick up a U of I jacket that my wife liked, and the woman on duty was very nice. All in all, a very nice addition to Ely.
