Let me start off with thank you guys !! Excellent service and customer care to my new car. So, I've been to this location to replace three flat tires on my car (within a month) unfortunately, which is absolutely no fun. But i left with a sigh of relief and better mood once the tires were quickly replaced. :) They open very early at 8am-7pm weekdays/6m weekends. The staff are very attentive, friendly and knew exactly which tires to replace according to the damaged tire. I was in and out of the location within 15 minutes on both occurrences without any issues. $$ The pricing for used tires are affordable and has good tread tracks. ($50 each). They take cash and debit/credit card. The staff are professional and friendly, showing care and concern for my troubles. This is my second time at Raymond's II New Used tires. First for air and that was awesome. Great customer service. The second time it was for inconsistent tire pressure and Chu found 2 screws in my tire. I have run flats so they are able to be plugged. The plugs were done lickety split. Absolutely horrible I came there in January for a used tire they said my rim was bent but they fixed and it just filled it with air. Now in march that same tire went flat I just brought it back for there 10 min before close (waited all day for AAA) they filled my tire with air but refused to take my donut off and put the tire back on ?? What's the point of that ?! I begged them to take my donut on and put the tire they literally just filled with air on my car and they just walked off! This place isn't a place where you go to listen to smooth Jazz while Roger comes out with his suspenders on and talk to you about all the tires while he send someone to look at yours and figure out what you need. NAH MAN, this place is where you pull up and crack your window and the person who approach tell you your tire numbers like a human computer by just looking at them as you approach. That computer person (a person who is quick and knowledgeable as a computer) then tells you the cost and instruct you on where to pull to. Okay now for our story.. We were driving from NYC to TN and as we were rolling through NJ we got a flat and got off as soon as we heard the pop. There was nothing with a GoodYear within walking distance but with AAA we had them to come put the spare on so we could take it over to GoodYear to have a new tire placed. We got there and they were talking about we need two tires to be safe and was talking about a couple of hundred dollars like $400. So we looked to Yelp and checked our route to TN and found this place. We pulled up and as I mentioned earlier the guy spits out our tire need and tell us to go to the back of the car line. MAN on MAN was there a line, at least 9 cars in front of us. We started to look at hotels on the route because this looked like a multiple hour process. WELL after about 10 minutes you start to see heads popping up from under cars and the cars started to move. They were coming out and jacking up the cars and changing the tires like changing a diaper while the people were in them (COVID safe). I had a horrible experience here, I got 4 used tires and a wheel alignment. Immediatley after my steering wheel was turning a full 360 without stopping. I came and complained twice only for them to do the wheel alignment over two times with no improvement. I asked for the owner and I asked for my money back. The man there started getting aggressive with me threatening me telling me he is not the one I want problems with and everythin. I say this to say they are extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Service was very professional and talk about efficiency. I had a huge construction nail in my rear driver side tire and they were able to fix it in less than 30 minutes. As a female driver I tend to be leery of mechanics and such, but I felt very comfortable and confident with the cost and level of service that was provided. Raymond's is Awesome! read more

Took my car here to get it aligned as it was a recommendation. I can tell you one thing, this place and the guy in charge lived up to every expectation ( not that I had any) but his price for starters was def cheaper then if you went to Walmart Auto or some other place that changes tires plus do the wheel alignment. He is def a people person. His employees are hard working. The place s is clean and organized and he's so friendly yet very professional. His shop is stocked with tires. All kinds. They were open early and actually answered the phone-definitely a plus. I pulled right in the guy immediately went to work getting of the flat tire. They have a quaint waiting room that is ridiculously clean & neat for a tire repair shop. They accept cash, credit, and debit. I paid $30 for a very gently used tire-not bad. My first time at this tire place and I really enjoyed the experience used tires for my car was $35 each including install and balance and a wheel alignment was $40. I love the fact that they are honest if they see something with your suspension or anything dealing with the wheel areas they will tell you what it is and won't do the wheel alignment until you get it fixed which is good because they aren't trying take your money knowing that the wheel alignment would be a waste because you need something to be repaired first.. even for new tires is very affordable.. they also have a very clean and neat seating area and they work very fast. read more

4 stars isnt enough for this place. First of all the waiting room is dope with pac man arcade and clean. The prices are unbeatable from here to NYC. Your in and your out. Why would you want to go to a large corporate business like pep boys or firestone and wait hours to get tires installed? Every time I come to this spot, I'm always met with professionalism and courtesy. I've been here a few times for a quick used tire or two, new tires and wheel alignment. I like that they change the tires with you in your car, the wait is not long, most times I was helped within minutes, they do quick work. The prices are great too. Told them about this DICKHEAD and they were not surprised, taught he was the owner but i find out he wasn't just another PIECE OF SHIT on the job. sometimes the help make a business look bad when the owner work hard to make and keep it successful. Needed a 275/50 R20. They had one in stock. Took off my spare. Checked air pressure in all tires. Installed and it cost $50 including installation. Was offered to wait in A/C waiting room. They have coffee and water. Very friendly staff. I recommend them with flying colors. Smaller vehicle tires are $25 installed. Any bad reviews are BS IMHO. But you can't please everyone. The best tire shop in Newark. They're open 7 days a week and have the best prices around. My family has been a loyal customer to Raymond's Tires for over 15 years now. It's the only place I will ever go for tires. They're fast and the staff is great. The owner has the most positive attitude ever and I always see him helping his employees out. I've never had anything but great things to say about them. They recently remodeled this location and it looks AMAZING! I've had to get my tires serviced more times than I've cared to but this place has been there for my needs nearly all of those times. They sell new and used tires and they have a wide variety in stock for a relatively small place. It's not tiny, about 4 - 5 cars can be serviced at once here but if you come early you don't have to worry too much about crowds. The technicians here are friendly and work fast. If not busy, you're out of there in about 10 minutes. I've only had to go for tire swaps and rotations but they offer other basic related services like alignments and patching which is cool. A used tired will cost you a fraction of what it is new and you'll often make out good with a decent tire with some good tread. I have to tell you that this place over exceeded my expectations. Stuck on the parkway in Friday night traffic with a tire at 7% full I knew I was not going to make it home. I made my way off the parkway not knowing what to expect and found this spot. I was served immediately and on my way in less that 15 minutes!!! Driving on my way to a mini vacation in the Poconos and on the parkway I realize I had not one, not two, BUT 3 tires with nails and screws in them. Not only is this place open for business on Sunday but we pulled up roadside and they helped us immediately. They were able to patch my one tire and HAD MY TIRE SIZE IN STOCK TO REPLACE THE OTHER 2. DO NOT GO THERE! I hit a huge pothole on the parkway on my way to work and popped both tires on the driver side. They changed both tires and re-aligned my car. I've returned 3 times already because my car was still shacking and pulling. He finally told me he had sold me bad tires and would order new ones for me without charge. I had to call them multiple times to check up on the tires myself. Finally today he told me they were in and when I got there he had ordered two of the same tires, as opposed to one front tire and one rear (the ones he originally changed). I told him it was very unprofessional of them to constantly have me return because they can't do the job right THE FIRST TIME. He ended the call with telling me to "fuck myself". My wife hit a huge pothole on the highway and her tire was destroyed, we called in advance and Raymond's team gave us exceptional service. They helped guide the tow truck, gave me a better price than my usual location and stayed open a few minutes past their closing to help us out! We were in and out quickly and they offered us coffee and water in the waiting area while I watched TV. Everyone was very professional and I was asked If we needed help with anything by 3 different workers. Overall a great experience, and they helped make a stressful time much better.
