I've really enjoyed living at Axis, and in fact, so much about the place is perfect - most notably,…read morethe staff. The Property Manager, Melvin, is simply kind, organized, and good at making decisions that bring people together. There have been a variety of fun community events since he started, and most importantly, on the rare occasion that there are issues with the apt., he is very promptly and efficiently responsive. There's so much to love about Axis. However, just a few of the reasons that I have loved it are the firepit with comfy chairs around it, the sparkling clean swimming pool during the warm weather, gas grills, a movie room with rows of seats, fitness center, and a pool table. The apt. that I moved into was beautifully decorated, iin terms of the lighting, etc. And it's so nice to have a washing machine and dryer right in apartment. There -this sounds like an ad -but it's not! Maintenance is excellent. On one of the very rare occasions that there was some kind of a drain issue, the maintenance guy came, and I arrived home to find not only the drain fixed, but also the clock reset for daylight savings (as I hadn't done that) and the lightbulb replaced... if I think of more, I'll add that in the future. I definitely give Axis a thumbs up!

Trash will be left randomly in front of the trash room/shoot. management claims they walk around each building and floor to repair any issues, but the trash room was left with trash on the floor and light bulb has been out for over 2 weeks making it difficult to use the trash room/shoot. which then requires You to bring the trash to the first floor or outside dumpster. This place is not luxury, please do not rent from here. if you're desperate to find a place, I would still not recommend this apartment. if you prioritize quality of life, please consider the stress you will endure here.

Tenants smoke in the breezeways every night and it seeps into other residences (management doesn't…read morecare). Place smells like Bob Marley and Wiz Khalifa had a baby. Non-residents leave their cars parked in already limited parking spots for weeks at a time, and able-bodied residents with no handicap tag park in the handicap spots every day and every night. A guide to living in Chestnut Farm Apartments: Don't bring any nice shoes because you will be dodging dog droppings on the daily. After you enjoy viewing the tainted-green pool liner while basking on the 20-year-old chaise lounges, you can treck through the hazardous terrain to feast your eyes on Mt. Dumpster. If you decide to visit Mt. Dumpster after it rains, BRING YOUR WADERS to get through the mud. Bring your ice skates after a freeze and consider a snowmobile after the snow. There is no paved path to the mountain so conditions are hazardous. The complex includes a Time Machine to 1999 they call the fitness center. Here you get to experience crusty vintage gym equipment over a brown carpet while you marinate in the must. Don't forget to bring your own hand sanitizer, a hook to hang your coat, and dumbbells (there is only one set of mis-matched dumbbells available). No matter the amount of complaints or suggestions, management will do nothing. What they will always be sure to do is to leave your lease renewal letter with a generous increase of only $100/mo for a declining quality of a "home." You wont have much time to capture photos of all of these experiences because you will be leaving faster than you entered. If you enjoy living in slime, Chestnut Farm Apartments is the place for you (and likely any other Winn Residential). The only good thing you'll have to watch out for here is the maintenance crew. They are so helpful and do a great job keeping up given the circumstances of their careless managers.
