FINALLY back to consistency with the hours. But sadly the donuts are not as good or as fresh as they used to be. I have tried them twice since they reopened and both times the donuts have tasted old. I was so glad to see them back opened, but I guess I will just have to continue considering them closed. read more

Their crumb donut is sooooo good. It's like coffee cake in donut form. The maple bar is good too. The service is good, but I feel like every time I try to go they are closed. Not much ambiance to the place, very basic so probably just want to take things Togo haha it's not really a sit down type of place. The coffee wasn't too bad. Because of previous customers posts of the menu I was able to make a list of what dozen donuts I wanted as well as a dozen donut holes. I was in and out in under 5 minutes including paying! Whenever I am out of town I love finding local donut shops so I can support local. Plus when on vacation the calories don't count, right? Owner was super friendly, fast and efficient! Donuts were flavorful, moist, thick and delicious! Everything you would want in a donut! read more

Good food when they open. This use to be me and the wifey go to spot however we no longer go our way. If we are in the mood for a good donut and we pass by and they are open we may stop. Hate the owner has become so unreliable Totally taken the public for granted never knowing if you can receive service. Quiet hole in the wall establishment nothing special but stays clean. read more

There are regulars and I've become one. The kind smiling gentleman remembers everyone and their usual order. I go every Saturday morning like many people. People walk in smiling, people look each other in the eyes and share the joy of donuts. The donuts are my favorite donuts I've ever had. Not understated, THE BEST. Two Thumbs Up!!! Decided to stop off at Ray's Donut after seeing a line of people standing around (when it comes to food, sometimes you have to follow the crowd)! This time, the line was right....they have really good donuts and amazingly good apple fritters! ( but get there early, because once they are gone, they are gone ). Fast and extremely friendly service and I think I paid $7 for a half of dozen of assorted donuts. My family and I were very happy with this place! read more

My coworker brought in some donuts for work before and it was delicious. I figured I would do something nice and bring in a box. You can come in and pick what you want but since I've never been here before I asked the cashier to pick for me. Lol. I also ordered a breakfast crossiant and mhm mmh it was delicious. Donuts were a hit. I love their donuts that was filled with the custard, I will have to load up on those. My coworker said the plain ones were also good and fluffy. I'll have to come back. Right after I waltzed in a line formed behind me so be prepared if you come during a rush. read more

The best donuts in Lawrenceville! I got a chance to talk to the owner for a little bit. He is so nice. The glass displays are really big but Ray's run out of donuts really fast. I got to try some and the coffee. The line was long and I don't know what it is but people were happy to be there. They must be regulars. read more

Best donuts I ever had. Got a regular glazed and a raspberry filled one. Both were flaky, airy, fluffy and perfect. I wanted a breakfast sandwich but the wait was too long -- but I definitely see why. Service was awesome too. This will be my family's go-to for donuts. read more

Covid is hitting small businesses hard, and this is evident with Ray's Donuts. There were only 2 pans of donuts when we arrived. I originally came for Boba because ive been on the hunt for a good one, but I also love donuts and breakfast foods Unfortunately there is no longer any hand mixed drinks. No boba and no specialty coffees. Theres still a variety of regular coffee and bottled drinks, though! The inside is clean and very inviting! The man (also the owner) who was manning the front desk was very kind and very helpful! The prices here are so cheap that its not even funny. The sandwiches are so simple and delicious! Its like your mom just made you a sandwich and that makes it so much better The DONUTSSSS! The fried ones are delicious and light and fluffy, but the cake ones really take the cake(pun very much intended) . I'm used to cake donuts being dry and just so not good. But these cake donuts are legit heaven on earth. They're cakey but very moist and delicious!! I will definitely be returning even though its about 10 miles away read more
