I walked in hungry and left feeling so full! I ordered the regular-size salmon cheesesteak combo with fries and got the banana pudding on the side. The salmon cheesesteak and fries were 10/10 -- so good! The cashier was really friendly and patient, which I appreciated since it was my first time. The banana pudding wasn't my favorite -- it tasted more like artificial banana flavoring than fresh banana. But honestly, the main entree more than made up for it. I ordered online to be picked up because I was limited in time. I arrived 6 minutes early and my food wasn't available until 14 minutes after the promised time. I see at least 4 workers back there and they are just playing around and moving like sloths. A lady here was complaining her food wasn't made correctly and was cold. read more

The food and customer service was excellent. Friday was my first time trying it and I must say I'll be back. Moe who I believe to be the store manager had made my food and he did a great job cause it was delicious. I had the Philly with all 3 cheese so try it with the Dave's sauce. read more

Great service you can tell that the staff does their best to make sure your order is correct especially if you make modifications. Be prepared to wait a bit which honestly isn't an issue it's good to know everything is made to order. While the bread isn't the best I've ever had with cheesesteaks the flavors hit and the crinkle fries are seasoned and tasty as well. If you order The cheese wiz for your fries get it in the side as it's very underwhelming especially when cold. Also Love that they carry the Stubborn Sodas in Can and in Fountain. They put hot fries out of the grease into the styrofoam so all the styrofoam stuck together. Fries weren't very good. Cheesesteaks were super mid. Nothing was inedible but it wasn't great. Kind of salty I wasted $70 on this and wasted my last day in Georgia eating at this spot when i could have taken my family to another spot to try. If you are craving a Cheesesteak don't come here. The food was fabulous! It is the best place to eat a Philly Sub and I ate one when I was in Philly. Ask for extra mayo, as it is light on the sandwich. We went at the right time to order our food(4:30). There is enough space to sit and enjoy your food. They have outdoor seating as well. read more

The food was so delicious! It was my first time stopping by and I got a beef Philly with lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese, and peppers. It was super flavorful. Found this place by accident today and decided to go for dinner. It was close to closing, but nobody treated you like they were in a hurry. KT took our order and was nice enough to explain why they did our sandwiches the way they did to make sure we understood. They were very clearly labeled, but for her to take the time was impressive. You can't say anything negative about the people prepping or anything because it was wonderful in every aspect. We ordered 3 10 inch sandwiches, but given it was so late, they ran out of 10 inch rolls. KT explained that they gave us 2 6 inch rolls for each for my husband and my sandwiches and my son - because he ordered the double Dave (it has double the meat) so he got 3 6 inch rolls! I'm not complaining at all because I don't eat much at a sitting, so it was very convenient to have smaller separate sandwiches. I am from the Philadelphia area, so I tend to be a big critic on cheesesteaks and there is nothing here to criticize. They use Amoroso rolls, which are a staple, the meat is finally chopped ribeye (critical), and you can get cheese whiz, which for me is the way it should be even though I don't use it for anything else. This is the only picture I took so far because I was so excited to eat. This is my son's double Dave; this is only a third of what one sandwich is normally because it's on a 6 inch roll. I will try to remember to take pictures before heating up my other half. This will definitely be our new cheesesteak place even though it's a good 35 to 40 minute drive... This is such a change from the Atlanta location. They have still not figured out how to make more than one order at a time they have not figured out how to make multiple things on the same order so when you order a cheesesteak, an eggroll they make your cheesesteak and then they make your egg roll and tell you it's gonna be four more minutes. There's no reason why two cheesesteaks and one eggroll should take 31 minutes there's no Urgency there's no customer service. There's no anything the downtown location. People are personable. They want to be there at the original location they're welcoming they explained the menu to you here when you make an order and you ask for something even if you're willing to pay extra for it, they have and pass and it's just a bad experience. I cannot wait for another cheesesteak place to open up. This will be my last trip to this particular location. read more

NEW LOCATION just opened this week! I prefer my cheesesteak "Dave's Way" which adds $2 to the cost, but in my opinion makes it taste far better. Dave's Way includes onions, mushrooms, sweet peppers, banana peppers, and all three cheeses (white American, Provolone & Cheese Whiz). The regular cheesesteak with only cheese and onions is 3.5 stars, but Dave's Way easily bumps it up to 4.5 or 5 stars. My wife loved her meatless VEGGIE cheesesteak. Prices are a bit high, but somewhat in line with the better cheesesteak restaurants around Metro Atlanta. A 10" beef cheesesteak made Dave's Way comes in at $17.99 and the 10" salmon cheesesteak made Dave's way @ $19.99. Fries begin @ $3.49 and graduate up to $6.99 loaded. The plain fries are just okay, nothing special. Thankfully service was faster than it was at the old original Doraville location, but the menu is a lot smaller and currently does not include wings or pizza. If ordering online, the website is rather impressive and very easy to use. Big ups to their design team for such a well laid out & user friendly website. I'll never come here again. The food is nothing like the original spot in Atlanta. And for almost $50 for two sandwiches, fries and fountain drinks, I was expecting something delicious. Would be an award winning cheesesteak if not for the below average bread. Excellent mix of ingredients but I think they purposely don't push all the ingredients down into the bread to make it seem like it's overflowing. Which leaves a quarter of the ingredients stuck to the aluminum wrapper. Also 3 sizes is a money grab. One size fits all in my book. read more

I chose to get beef with the added $2 Dave's way option. The husband had chicken and we split a chicken egg roll. The sandwich is delicious and the egg roll was scrumptious. The bread for me was a bit much but that's a me problem If Big Dave's ever wanted to explore a low carb option, I'm available for human taste testing volunteer work ‍ Definitely a must try! I ordered the veggie chopped cheesesteak, and they initially got my order wrong once and they quickly try to fix it and provided me a banana pudding as compensation when they gave me the new order the sandwich was incorrect again, but it was a mistake in the ordering process, their team and staff six to the third time, and for compensation of my weight, offered an additional sandwich and redid the entire order. Mid is all I can say. Staff was friendly and nice. Place is pretty clean for what it is. Limited seating like others said. Cheesesteak...being from Philly maybe does not help but they used way too much cheese and appear to put some on the roll itself and some in the meet but not not melt it well. As others said meat is pretty lacking in taste. Roll is a make or break and the roll sucked sorry. No unsweet tea which is a small negative. Over seasoned fries by a mile.
