Breakfast bowl with sausage, scrambled eggs, onions, cheddar, and hash browns. Delightful!

Finally made it into Son of a Biscuits today, and this place is solid! The food is delicious and portion sizes very generous. The fiery chicken lived up to its name, and the sausage patties definitely had a kick as well. Located near a service station, it doesn't look like much - but don't be fooled. You don't need fancy with food this good! They also serve lunch, but we having tried that yet. Service is friendly and the ambiance is great - busy, but no wait. Highly recommend if you're looking for a new breakfast joint!

    Sausage Biscuit

My wife went through the drive-thru and brought home a sausage biscuit for me. When I opened it, I was shocked to find the sausage was burned beyond belief. I've attached a photo so others can judge for themselves. We immediately called the restaurant. The young lady who answered transferred us to Jeremy, who she identified as the cook, we later found him to be the owner. We explained that the sausage was severely burned. Instead of apologizing or offering to make it right, Jeremy's response was, "Did you want it raw?" He then stated that he cooked it himself, remembered making it, and knew it wasn't burned. Not only was the food unacceptable, but Jeremy's attitude was rude, arrogant, and extremely condescending. My wife offered to email him a photo of the biscuit, which she did. About an hour later, she called back to follow up. Jeremy said he hadn't looked at the email because he was busy. He went on to explain that he needed to get everyone out by 1:30, had other things to do afterward, and would call us back around 2:30. That call never came. Not to mention we paid $14 for two biscuits!! No follow-up. No apology. No attempt to resolve the issue. Nothing. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen. Burnt food can happen in any kitchen. What separates good businesses from bad ones is how they respond when a customer brings a problem to their attention. Instead of taking responsibility, we were met with excuses, dismissiveness, and complete indifference. After reading other reviews, it appears that burnt food and poor customer service may not be isolated incidents. Unfortunately, our experience certainly supports that impression. We weren't looking for anything unreasonable--just acknowledgment of the problem and an effort to make it right. Instead, we received some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. The attached photo speaks for itself.

Let me set the scene. I walk in, look at the menu asked if they had bagels (god forbid having variety is a crime) cashier stated no I proceed to order no issues. Cashier walks to the chefs w/ gauges and says we need to change our name and he replies with something crazy and or rude. So much so that the cashiers turns around to make sure I didn't hear what he just said. She looks back at him and he says oh I said that out loud and keeps on working. Now idk what was said because I was actually looking around about to sit to dine in when I noticed the cashier looking back and me. First impression. Won't be coming back I ordered the sausage egg and cheese sub hash brown no tots burrito. Very delicious I love me some legit hashbrowns Overall this place would've been a 5 and frequent visit if wasn't for that interaction.

Had a small dinner the night before and was really hungry for some breakfast the next day. Remembered this place on Google for breakfast spots nearby. Was really excited to try it and was looking forward to a sausage patty without pork. I debated between salmon and turkey and chose the turkey. I really should have read the reviews as I usually do, but it was before work and I didn't have time for all that. Long story short, I placed the order online for pickup, got in the car and was severely disappointed to see this burnt piece of meat. I hoped the taste was better than the looks but it wasn't. The first bite was nasty. Please stop making this turkey sausage because something ain't right. The biscuit probably would have been alright because it was soft, but the sausage made everything taste bad. On top of that the cashier was somewhat on the rude side and just didn't have any customer service. At least be nice selling unremarkable food. Just glad I didn't get sick like another reviewer did. Do better.

Great food! Consistently a great place to find a variety of breakfast favorites and new eats. The biscuits being front and center their highlight food, are great everything. There are other dishes they offer outside the normal biscuits and sandwiches, breakfast wraps, son of a pancakes, breakfast bowls, biscuits and gravy, and plenty of a la cart options round out the menu. As for ambiance, don't let the gas station attached to the restaurant fool you, the place is clean and orderly. Music coming from the kitchen is nice but may not be for everyone. The staff is great and always friendly. It is easy to become a regular and they will start greeting you by name after only a few visits if you are a friendly.

I love a handmade biscuit... love love love! And, being attached to a gas station made even more confident I was going to stumble on greatness. The menu is in a large font above the cashier station. The cashier was very pleasant and my order took a couple of quick minutes to be prepared. When the kitchen team handed the cashier my order, someone shouted- thank you Kat, have a great day. What a wonderful personal touch- reading my name off the ticket. I did realize until after beginning to eat the sausage biscuit that the meat was made in house. It a bit of a spicy kick and a lot less sage flavoring like a traditional sausage. It was a wonderful surprise and treat. I am rarely in this part of the Atlanta suburbs but when I am back, I will return. I was fortunate to stumble in- thanks fellow Yelpers

So unless you were looking for it, you probably wo it would not find this place. Is it a gas station, but a lot of good stuff is in gas stations! They do breakfast here at a close at about 1:00 p.m. I stopped in because I was early for an event that I had in the area so thought it was stopping for a quick breakfast. The service was good, everybody was super friendly. Either the cook or the owner came out and greeted the people in the dining room and asked how everything was all that was really nice. The food was okay. It looks like a cafeteria kind of situation. Plastic trays and plastic ware. But they have all the basics, hash browns, bacon and eggs, grits, pancakes, all the breakfast papers. I stuck with the grits bowl with sausage that experience sausage was a bit overcooked but other than I thought I thought it was fine.

Burnt pancakes and burnt turkey sausage.

This is ridiculous! My hubby stopped at this place on the way home from work and ordered us breakfast to go. The turkey sausage was burnt, pancakes burnt, over medium eggs were overcooked. The grits were cold too the point the cheese wasn't even melted in the grits. It is beyond me why this restaurant would even give this burnt food to a customer.

The Second Level / Upper Floor is reserved for if you are going to be ordering/dining in for the pastas and/or savory foods. I only tried their coffee today on the first level. I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. There was no password on the receipt, only a QR Code that you need to scan. Overall - Yes I would recommend this place for a nice little coffee stop. Check it out for yourself. Enjoy!
