When I began looking for a pool company to re-pebble my pool and replace the skimmer, I wanted more than just a good price. I wanted a company that was honest, professional, dependable, and would take pride in the work they were doing at my home. Through a friend's recommendation, I was referred to Jose Bravo and JB Pool Plastering, and I am so grateful that I made that phone call. I initially contacted Jose around the end of February or beginning of March and scheduled an appointment for March 20th for him to come out and provide an estimate. Unfortunately, March 20th became one of the most difficult days of my life because my husband passed away that very day. I had to cancel our appointment, and I was understandably overwhelmed and heartbroken. It wasn't until the middle of June, after taking some time to work through my grief, that I was able to contact Jose again. From that very first conversation, Jose showed me an incredible amount of compassion, patience, and understanding. He never made me feel pressured or rushed. He came to my home, carefully walked through the project with me, measured everything, explained what needed to be done, provided me with a detailed estimate, and explained how long the project would take. He also directed me to their facility in the Bloomington/Fontana area, where I could personally select the tile and pebble finish for my pool. That experience allowed me to meet his beautiful wife, Leticia, who has been part of this business for more than 20 years. Meeting Jose and Leticia was one of the reasons I knew I had made the right decision. JB Pool Plastering is truly a family-owned business, and you can feel the pride they take in their work. They treat their customers with respect and make you feel like more than just another job on their schedule. For me, this meant so much more. I was making a major financial decision on my own during a time when I was still grieving the loss of my husband. Jose and Leticia understood that. They showed empathy and kindness while also taking the time to explain every detail of the project, the costs, the process, and what I could expect. That level of personal care is something you don't always find in a business today. The workmanship was outstanding. The crew was professional, courteous, punctual, and respectful of my property. The work was done beautifully, and I am extremely pleased with the results of my pool re-pebbling and skimmer replacement. But what impressed me most was that their commitment to me didn't end when they finished the job. Jose and his team continued to stay in contact with me and even came back a month or two after the project was completed to make sure everything was still looking good and that I was happy with the work. That says a lot about a company. There is still another phase of work that I hope to complete, but unfortunately, I will not be able to move forward with that next step until 2027. I also know there was another customer of yours that went through the same thing. You were always hard to get a hold of and had to ask you numerous times on which day and time you or your crew would show up. Also, you remodeled my pool in February, finished the job February 7th, water was filled by February 8th. I notified you about the problem on February 28th. So, I have no idea where you get eight months from. It was DAYS that I notified you of the problem, not eight months. Just goes to show you how unorganized and unaware you are . Plus, it's July and I'm doing this yelp review , that's five months . I have the text messages to prove it . Also, you never addressed the other problems your company created. The damages to my cement that hasn't come out. So, no you do not provide your customers with professionalism, quality work or honest service . Stop trying to put a show on for yelp.
