I was nervous, as I wanted everything to come out perfect and beautiful, but Ed was so courteous and professional that he put me at ease. He did a great job helping me to make a good flooring brand & color decision, and he put his best installer, Glenn, on our project, which turned out to be the highlight of our experience. Glenn did meticulously beautiful work and we were so happy with him. My husband says that sometimes you don't really know how reliable a company is until you see how they handle issues or mishaps. Well, a big issue came up near the end of our project, but they handled it with grace. In the end, we were charged fairly and left with absolutely beautiful flooring that completely transformed the look and feel of this home. I would happily refer both Ed and Glenn, and I would choose them without hesitation for any future projects. These guys are professional and good at their craft, but also really good people.

I received estimates from four different companies and I chose Shannon Vaden. Some of the moisture damage was worse than initially thought. Shannon and his crew repaired all the items on the WDO, in addition, damage done to a load bearing wall from water leaking by a improperly sealed window frame. The repair required work on inner and external sides of the wall. Not only is Shannon very affable but honest with a strong work ethic. Not to mention he was very reasonable in his pricing. I have a LOT of belongings and the majority have been destroyed. The worst part is, I was in the midst of unpacking before I left a month ago because I recently purchased this home. I have boxes of clothes, shoes, accessories, purses and so much more that are now trash. Mold on so many things. Due to the bed sitting in water, the legs have cracked, clothes on hangers in the closet smell like mold. It's a disaster. I was upset at the beginning because this is not what one wants to walk into. My plan was to unpack boxes, not pack up what I can salvage. Some of the good companies I found do not cover Gainesville area. Then one my of neighbors recommended Retex. She had the roof done in August and Retex was the cheapest quote. So I called Retex, and the phone was answered right away (not like some other places I called). Wes met with me over zoom and went over the whole re-roofing process with a powerpoint presentation (what would be replaced and what might be extra). The quoted price wasn't the cheapest, but I liked how Wes went through the whole procedure, so I decided to go with Retex. The job was done promptly, the crew was courteous. Wes was very communicative during the whole process. What I liked the most is that whatever concern I had, Wes would address them until I am satisfied. Looking back, it would be an even better experience if I told them my expectations in detail before the job was done. There isn't much rain yet, but I believe the roof will hold up in heavy rains.
