    Owner is yelling foul languages & threatening me.

    Theft of my phone while at Ray's Transmission Service Center. On 9/25/23 at about 7:30 am I dropped off my car at Ray's Transmission shop on 959 Queen's St, Honolulu for a transmission oil change. I came back at about 8:30 am & it was not done so I came back again at about 9:15 am & they were finished. Hence, I have paid & drove off. While stopped at a traffic light I had opened & checked my middle compartment & found my portable flashlight & extra phone, Samsung Galaxy A71 5G missing. So I went back to Ray's Transmission & advised the owner, which he refused to listen & advised for me to go home & check. I drove home as I needed to check my dash cam camera facing inside the car with my computer. I got home & checked with my computer & saw that the worker leaned over to his right after test driving the car after finishing with the transmission oil change. I made a short copy of the video with my phone camera & went back to Ray's Transmission shop. The dash cam facing inside the car is showing as inverse so the workers left is actually the work's right. Once arriving at Ray's Transmission shop I went over to their small office & asked for my credit card that I had left after paying, which the lady gave it back. I then asked for the owner & once he came I had tried to explain that I have a video showing the worker leaning over to his right side where the middle compartment is at, but the owner refused to see the video nor listen & just kept on cutting me off by telling me that "No one here took anything from your car, go home." I was at least hoping to see their video camera or try & talk to the worker as I was keep trying to explain that my personal information was in that phone & that I am not concerned with the cost. But the owner kept refusing to listen & kept cutting me off. Hence, I got in my car & called for police so that I could make a police report for my documentation in case of a possible identity theft situation in the future. As the owner was passing by my car I again tried to explain to him that I have called police to file a police report to document this incident just in case of an identity theft, which he refused to listen & all of a sudden he started yelling out foul languages with foul words & threatening body languages as you can see in the still shots. The whole video is of the owner yelling out foul words & threatening languages with foul body simulations & threatening body languages. The following is just some that I could make out from my dash cam video: Me: All I wanted was to get the phone. Ray's Transmission owner: Beat it! Me: Don't be rude, come on. Ray's Transmission owner: Fuck you! Me: You are on camera. Ray's Transmission owner: You better get the fuck out of here, fuck you! (while motioning very threateningly) Me: Police have been called. (He then starts walking away) Ray's Transmission owner: Yells lots of foul words & threatening languages with body motions while walking back to me. As I am trying to back up my car to get out of the shop the owner of Ray's Transmission keeps yelling out foul languages & threats with body motions while coming towards me, which is when the police officers arrived & told him to move away & walked him away from me. The owner of Ray's Transmission have threatened me with foul languages & body motions, which the police officers have also noted on their report. Yet, the owner of Ray's Transmission have stated that he had simply asked me to leave on the police report, which is totally not true. The police have written otherwise on their report so it clearly shows that the owner of Ray's Transmission have made a false statement to the police officers. I am very disappointed with Ray's Transmission at 959 Queen's Street in Honolulu. The owner could have at least offered to show their video & also try & talk to the employee that was in my car, which he didn't. I was just asking for some support, but instead I received a bunch of foul language yelling & threats & also with body motions as shown on the video, which I am still not able to understand why the owner of Ray's Transmission behaved as such, so hysterically mad. I have already called in the IMEI #355181111159447 as stolen so the phone is worthless to anyone else. I was using it as a speedometer while driving & taking photos of my receipts for tax purpose instead of holding onto the hard copies, which I did not get to transfer it to my computer. I also had some other personal information in the phone, which I should have erased when I had upgraded.     Came here to get a diagnosis on my car due to transmission issues. As my car was kicking from time to time when it shifts gears. The work only took them about less than one hour to diagnose, explained to them I was at work so I'll come by and pick the car up later. Upon arriving I received the bill, only to find out the total cost of the so called labor came out to be 260+tax. Who charges 260 dollars to diagnose a car that took less than an hour, I dropped my car off at around 11:05 during my lunch and received a call at 11:55 explaining the resolution. If you're going to charge someone 260 at least disclose to them first that it will be approx 260, and ask them are you sure you want to do it. Not have them find out the cost at the time paying. And the front desk lady explain to me, we charge this high because people would go to their friends to do the work. Update: owner called in regards to this review, I am giving two stars more because of the honesty and the caring they have for their customers.

The diagnostic revealed Crash Zone Faults still stored on board. Mr. Niki's explanation was thorough, understandable to this elderly veteran, Mr. Niki recommended I contact Insurance Adjuster explain the situation. Instead of we can fix it, Mr. Niki's recommendation was the wisest. He was not deterred about losing a future customer in explaining that what we needed is a little beyond the their capabilities, given the dealership would have the Vehicle specific diagnostic tools and the ability to factory reset the electronics. We will be having our XC60 veicle serviced by Neue Auto LLC in the future. The Neue Auto provided the service at no cost to me, as explained, we were not able to correct/repair the problem.

They're usually able to take me in pretty soon too which is great. On my most recent visit, I went in thinking I needed specific work done, but Codi realized it was a totally different issue. He fixed it right then and there, so I didn't even need the major work I thought I did! As a woman in my early 20s, I'm always prepared to be sold on things I don't need, but that never happens here. They're so good at explaining what happened and I've never felt ripped off. The reception area is nice with AC, water, and a TV, plus a huge perk is that they pay for your one way ride share from the shop after you drop your car off.

They didn't color match evidence is in the picture there's clearly a line of the two different colors and I can't believe they didn't wash the truck after they finished painting it. When I asked how much it would be to paint the roof it was first $700 then when I agreed to the 3 panels I told him I'd pay for the top on my own dime the price went up over double $1500 for 1 panel. SMH never again. So for 3 panels one being the truck bed it was $1900 then to paint 1 more panel the roof was an extra $1500 just doesn't add up

Called Anykine Assistance around 6 pm and they replied and arrived within an hour. The car worked after jumpstarting and he assured me the battery wasn't drained and wouldn't need replacing after it had been om I had already paid when Kaleo noticed my front bumper; it looked as if someone punched it, forcing the panel to jut out. He kindly offered to help fix it's appearance in a jiffy, without me mentioning it! He was able to pop the dent out and used some of his tips and tricks to make it look half decent again. It would've cost an arm and leg to replace the bumper, if he hadn't kindly offered to help make it look normal again. It cost $216 just to check it out and this does not apply to the repair. Left the car there, with in a few hours, they call back and gave us an estimate. Since they need to wait for parts and they asked us to pick up the car and set up an appointment to bring it in later for the actual repair. It appears they are very busy, we need to wait a few days before they have opening. At this time, they told us if I pay cash, I can get a discount. I forgot if it is 5% or more. I wished they would have say something early on so that I can pay cash for my initial $216 fee. Make sure you ask about that cash discount deal. Anyhow, repair day come, drop off the car at 7:30am, get my car back by the end of the day. (They close at 5pm) Car is running OK for now. The mechanics work there look pretty young, I was wondering how experience they are, but I do not want to judge them by their age at this time. Time will tell if the repair is good. They did say they have a 12 months warranty for their repair which is good. (Update - two days after we had the car back, the check engine light is back on again! We have to take it back but we have to wait for a week before they have opening to check it. I hope the "warranty" will cover this and I do not have to pay extra.
