Thank you to a friend that recommended Xi when I told him that my battery was almost dead but BMW couldn't see me for a week. Scared that I might be stranded somewhere with a dead battery, I took it in on my way to work the next morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I told him I was worried about the battery dying and he was nice enough to be able to take my car in, test it to see if it really was the battery, and if so, replace it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He also said that if it was something else, he would call me to discuss.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thankfully it was just the battery because I received a call 2 hours later saying it was ready for pick up. I recently took my car to XI, I have a 2015 BMW 328i. It has 110k miles so decided to have my transmission fluid changed. After he was done, he advised me the front right brake pad was thin. Asked him to please change it. I also showed him the video that BMW of Honolulu gave me with 7 " immediate need attention" problems quoting me over $6000. XI reviewed ( for free) and said they were all really minor. The dealer never mentioned my brake pads at all. WHF I really trust XI with my car and I will always take it to him from now on. He is fast, and very reasonable in his pricing. XI is very passionate about repairing his cars and only fixes BMW and Mini ONLY. I took my BMW 328i convertible in because my AC wasn't working properly and it had a leaking pump. I also haven't been able to put the top down for several years because I was told I needed a new motor for the top and that it would cost $1,400. Xi was able to diagnose all these issues (something two other shops were unable to do) and repair them making my car like new again, which is nice as it only has 32k miles. Saw one bad review on here from someone called "Malachi," but I think it's fake. I take loving care of a 2001 740iL and am blessed to have the money to pay any price, but every time I've come here Xi has done literally the only things that are necessary, and has sometimes talked me out of doing things that would be profitable to him, but which he says aren't really necessary. Anyway, he's the BEST BMW mechanic I've had out of many (in three different states). My guess is that the couple of negative reviews here are based on personal grudges from people who aren't even clients, or are left by clients who don't know what they're talking about. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Xi. My transmission light came on in my 2017 BMW X3, my engine kept cutting out at stops. I called three different places before Xi said he would see me the same day. Thank goodness I didn't need a new transmission (15K quoted by BMW service) and it was only the battery ($600). Priced three different places for my first repair, stopped by Xi Tech and the repair cost was 75% less. Others were trying to charge me so much for the labor cost but Xi was honest about the repair and took care of it in less than 15 mins. Second visit he was able to find the problem and fix in a short amount of time. Just yesterday the car died and had it towed to Xi Tech by Saigon Towing (another great company that saved me $ and time) This repair would of taken longer. Today I brought my car in for diagnostic . The man that owns it took the car and run me over with my car , hit me with my car . Police came and ambulance . I had to go to emergency room . When He hit me i screamed he got out of my car and said " not again ! Every time " That' means that happens before He also didn't recognized me or acknowledged me or my appointment when I came in and I saw me 7 times prior to today and spoke to him many many times . Not only he didn't even apologized to me he is trying to charge me 1200$ for a sensor . He seem crazy like not there mentally It's really bad . I was crying all day I am alone here I couldn't work today and it's just so wrong The energy is so bad there they are not nice and negligent .
