I towed my car to their shop and they quickly diagnosed my vehicle needing a clutch replacement. Quote was sent electronically and upon acceptance my car was ready for pickup two days later. Can I just say.... Five stars just isn't enough!!! We have used them for several services! Took our car to good year to get an oil change they said we had all these problems. They quoted me an arm and a leg to fix only some of the issues. Came to repairs done right and they were able to diagnose my vehicle with issues good year did not even find! They gave me quotes for all the work I needed done, and gave me a honest timeline of when I actually needed to get these repairs done. They did not push to make money off of me and made sure I was comfortable with the service I was receiving. I was told that my brakes needed to be rebuilt and that it was going to cost $1600. I couldn't afford that so I had my truck towed away. I paid almost $300 for diagnosing the problem. Anyway, I had my truck towed to another shop (one I use regularly) and they found a disconnected cable. They connected it and road tested the vehicle. They didn't find any other problems. They also didn't charge me anything since it was just a disconnected cable! Needless to say, I was not happy with Repairs Done Right. I gave them 2 stars because they took my vehicle right away and they were prompt in replying to messages. read more

Friendly guy, only interacted with Billy unless someone else was communicating with me through text. I requested a quote for front brakes (rotor and pads) and for diag on a noise coming from the front passenger wheel. I ended up getting front brakes (pads and rotors), new front tires (needed them), front struts (needed them) and the front wheel bearings which i figured was the issue before I contacted them. All of the stuff they recommended were things I felt needed to be changed, so it was nice to get those done. I also asked them to do an oil change since the car was already there and it needed it. Billy went in on a Sunday even though the shop was closed to complete the work on my car and I was able to pick up that same day. All in all great experience, transparent pricing and great service. Ariel is one of the most polite and pleasant people I've have dealt with. Our regular mechanic recommended Repairs Done Right because he couldn't diagnose an issue we were having. Last night, my Corolla started shaking as it entered the garage. The "Check Engine" light also went on. Next morning, I left a request in Yelp and RDR was the first to reply. If I could have the car towed there, they could fix it. Sure enough! I got AAA to tow the car and within 90 minutes, it was diagnosed and fixed! Apparently, there was a faulty ignition coil that caused a spark plug to fail. What other repair shop takes a car on a walk (tow) in after lunch and has it ready by 3 p.m.? I can't say that will be true for everyone because the degree of difficulty in repairs varies, but that's as quick a repair as I've ever had. I once needed tire repair and took it to another shop (that will remain nameless), but I waited FOUR hours to have a screw removed and the hole plugged. Something that could easily have been done in 5 minutes. read more

My first experience here worked out so well, that I plan on switching my car needs to here. Unlike my last place that couldn't find parts for my old car, and hesitant with the parts that I found on my own, Billy didn't even need my help. The whole process was a step up from what I'm used to. I got a quote with all the breakdown, clicked on a link to approve it, paid online with a credit card (my last place charged extra for paying with a c/c, so I'd write an old-fashion check), and show up for my appointment. I also appreciated being able to talk and ask questions directly to Billy, owner and mechanic, so that there's no miscommunication/misunderstanding that can happen if only being able to talk with a receptionist, like at so many places. Speedy and great value repair. Came in for an a/c compressor replacement after comparing estimations with other shops, and decided to go with these folks. These guys filled me in on all my concerns, and went out of their way to actually show me. Even though I just needed the a/c compressor replacement, I ended up also getting a serpentine belt + tensioner replacement as was their recommendation. The process was quick, and waited less than 2 hours for the car to be ready. (Other shops quoted it to be 3-4 hours just for the compressor). My check engine light came on and got a ODB reading of "Coolant Thermostat". I called and spoke to Billy to see if he could take my car in that morning. He stated that they were booked but asked me what the problem was. When I told him he stated "code P0128". He knew the code right off the top of his head. He told me that I could still drive the car, that the problem wouldn't blow up the engine or anything bad until I could bring it in. Toyota Camry. Brought in for knocking sound when I drove over uneven surfaces. It drove me crazy and was told by another company that they couldn't fix it and I needed to take it to the dealership if case the airbag deploys. Ariel was such a pleasure to work with from the initial conversation, I could stay in her office and talk with her all day. They were quick to see me and communicated with me effectively. Dropped off my car around 11, got the call that it was done by 3. Billy was kind and determined to find out what the cause of the sound was so that I can leave satisfied. Having a brake problem is something you should take seriously cause if you ignore it, you get into a car wreck. Anyway I made an appointment and dropped it off. I decided to include maintenance tune up, transmission fluid flush, along with my brake job. The work was done and we were satisfied with the job done. It cost an arm and a leg, but better than buying another car... mind you my Crv is 13yrs old... never changed those thing. The staff was very professional and easy to work with. I am so grateful for Repairs Done Right for fixing many issues I had with my Dodge Grand Caravan. I researched many shops, reviews and was drawn to their high ratings. Before towing my van to their shop, I sent Billy a video of the noise I was concerned about upon starting the engine and he already had an idea of what was wrong with it. Only when I got there did I think to ask if they take extended warranty. I panicked when they said no. (I know, I know....it's my fault for not asking before I towed it there.) Took our CRV to repair/replace CV BOOT that Dealer quoted us $1300. Called RDR made appointment and got it done for $520. In addition, we had just had the under engine cover replaced at dealer. While our car was being lifted up on racks....engine cover was hanging as one of the bolts was missing. Shane (Mechanic) told us, "no worries I can replace that for you". Really pleased with this shop! Ariel the office Manager is very pleasant and Sean...just a cool dude! He even cleaned our rims as the CV boot had sprayed grease, due to leak. This is a bit out there. I live in California. I inherited a Lexus sc430 from my grandfather yesterday. Today my wife noticed the tail lights were on while parked. I could NOT get the tail Lights to turn off! It's after 8pm and all the repair shops are closed. I figured Hawaii is three hours behind us so I googled repair shops in Honolulu.
