After cancelling, they also failed to cancel the Xcel Energy appointment to drop our power line so Xcel crew showed up at our house for nothing. I folded up the fence fabric and Taylor expertly cut off the top branches such that they precisely landed just a few feet from the fence posts. The other tree was in the front yard and it, too, was fallen with precision. When done he spent a long time to thoroughly clean the area. His bid was very competitive. Highly recommend! The estimate was fair, but then I saw the work they were doing. They were cutting off the trees and weeds to the ground, leaving the roots in the soil. The contract said "remove trees and weeds". When I complained, he told me to poison it with RoundUp even though he claimed to be a "holistic" landscaper, and doesn't use RoundUp himself! I even offered him my tree puller, but he dismissed me and said, "This is the way we do it." My husband told me I shouldn't have paid them, but I was having a panic attack. It was about $3,000. I was going to take him to conciliation court, but I didn't want to relive the nightmare.

His work was outstanding and it was great to deal directly with the owner rather than a representative. Service was provided on time and to the specs we both agreed too. The problem was that he never supervised his crew while they were doing the work. There was a miscommunication on one area and he did not show up to resolve it. Then when it came to installing the plants, he shorted us ground cover plants by over 100 and asked us to drive out to a garden center and pick them up and plant the missing plants themselves. I don't think he has to this day come out to look at the final product. Very bad customer service and the shorted plants bordered on cheating. Very unhappy with his business in general.
