My mri had to have a contrast so I was a little anxious. The front desk lady was warm and kind. Blonde lady.. just her smiling and telling me the paperwork isn't too bad joking with me instantly relaxed me. It was not long and I was called back by my tech Amanda. She explained everything and let me go change. I like they ask what size scrubs you would prefer. After changing in a private room you secure your stuff in a locker. She also gave me socks. Very kind. Amanda had great bedside manners and suggested doing the iv laying down once in the room. I have tricky veins and she took her time to find a good one. Instead sometimes people can rush and poke multiple times. I was thankful she was so thorough. It was the most painless iv I've ever had. She was sweet making sure I was comfortable as possible given the circumstances. The process of imaging didn't go quick about 40 minutes for the area I needed but the staff made the experience much nicer and I would recommend this place to everyone who needs They were exactly on time. I felt like I barely waited. Thanks guys!

During the extensive call to schedule the appointment (health history questions ,etc) there was no mention that they are no longer in Premera Heritage Prime network. When I checked in the registrar said "it should all be covered". She also did not mention that they are not in my network. They billed over $1000 for a routine screening mammogram and I now owe the deductible because they are "out of network" for Premera Heritage Prime. The technician and scan were efficient. They promised to call me back the same day... nope Next day I call them - Voicemail Next day I call them - Another Voicemail - hour later, called back Told by my Orthopedic specialist at Puget Sound Orthopedics that the Imaging place will call me within 5 days to schedule an MRI but I will likely have to call them (pretty bad when their own Doctors have no faith in them). Day 5 comes... nothing Day 6 I call them - Voicemail Day 7 I call them - Voicemail It's a good thing I am only in a little pain. If I was experiencing severe pain, I would be seriously sick of these people. You NEVER reach a person when you call. You get sent to the Voicemail box and promised an answer within 24 hours that never happens. If you are in any sort of hurry, just beg your Doctor to send you anywhere but the Tacoma Puget Sound Imaging. If you are in no hurry, roll the dice and go here.
