Had a reoccurrence of an old injury to L5 and was suffering badly. Had to go the Federal Way office as my local office was busy. The consult was provided by Shelly McInnis PA who was caring and thorough. I explained that I was no able to do anything but sit as walking or trying to sleep were almost impossible. I had previously had several epidurals and they were effective. She was absolutely the kind of person you would want to be providing care. These people are routinely 45-60 minutes behind. You show up on time and just sit for an hour. Technically they do a good job, but their office procedures and ineffective. They do not schedule sufficient time to see each patient, most of whom are elderly. As a result they get further behind schedule as the day progresse. If I could I'd give this place a negative score. The phone number for appointments no one ever answers so it requires people to make an added trip to go to schedule an appointment in person. The receptionist that make the appointments are very curt with people. read more

Insurance authorized a MRI and my doctor said to make an appointment with Rayus Radiology. I called the Poulsbo, Wa. office and was on hold for a ridiculous length of time. I hung up and just called back four hours later with same result. Making my appointment with another imaging company. read more

I was witnessed this morning how young lady at front desk was so rude to the patient. This is ridiculous, to hear how stuff is not welcoming. She spoke in angry way with the lady. I went to an appointment via the shuttle as I am disabled (my knees). I get there and am told they couldn't do the test due to the leg was bigger than normal so the leg wouldn't fit. I was a little put out, but understood. I couldn't just leave as I had for a shuttle to come back to pick me back up. Another appointment was made for me for a different place that would help me. I wait and go to my next place that would fit my leg. I make reservations to go to the shuttle for my new appointment. I get there and the lady taking me back stops me before going back in the waiting room with many patients waiting. She says loudly oh your leg won't fit. It's not so huge. Asked me my weight, again in front of everyone in waiting room and my caregiver. I will have to go to my 3rd place where my slightly larger leg would fit. I'm pissed and totally embarrassed. I have to go again but if I didn't need to I'd tell them where to go. By the way, the lady that embarrassed me was certainly not too small either.​ read more

I have to wait a month, ask for day off, drove 45'mins to yr location and someone just said appt was canceled, No apologize, no sorry, that's fucking wronggg.!!!! Like what??? I use the Puyallup Rayus. What a great team. I was approved for a nerve block and the Radiologist had a concern of the procedure. he ordered an updated Ultra Sound to be done in another office. He may have saved my life. I am impressed with the knowledge, professionalism, and caring professions at this company. read more

My Dr's order was for a pelvic CT scan. Upon talking with the tech, I described having pain in the region of my lower back. He increased the range of my scan to include my kidneys. While there, I was treated very cordially and with respect. The receptionists were also exceptionally polite and helpful. Of the many medical procedures I've undergone through the years, I'd be hard pressed to recall receiving better quality of care from anyone. I took my son in for an MRA in Sept 2023. They lost it so I had to take him back in November of 2023. They now say they never did the tests. So what were they doing with my son when they had me take his clothes off and put on a gown and then they took him away? Calling in to ask questions does no good. I had previously visited Rayus for a CT scan and was happy with the process. I recently needed an mri and called to schedule an appointment, but nobody ever answers the phone. I was on hold for over 10 minutes on three different days and times. During the hold time callers are asked to consider joining the rayus team. This is played repeatedly during hold time making it even more annoying than listening to bad music. I contacted Proliance in Issaquah, the phone was answered promptly and I was able to schedule an appointment in a timely manner. I can recommend Proliance without any concerns, but rayus is only for those with lots of time to waste. read more

Calling this Federal Way location is always a disappointment. I just called today (2/22/24) and the woman who made my appointment was Rude. The front desk is always Rude when I arrive. Getting a mammogram is tough enough and I don't appreciate having to deal with the attitude. They are there to help not add more stress! read more

The night before my CT scan that's been scheduled for weeks, the scheduler calls me to say that they can't do the CT scan tomorrow and will have to cancel. The freakin' night before!! Despite them having plenty of time leading up to the appointment to get an approval or denial from insurance, the lady just offered some weird excuse that they only process patients chronologically; meaning nothing to me, the patient, except that it's code for, "we didn't get around to it till now." It's not the patient's problem that she decided to wait till today to work with insurance. I was told that insurance wasn't covering it most likely anyway, so when I brought this up and said I'll pay out-of-pocket, she said they weren't prepared for that and would need a denial letter from insurance regardless. Why wasn't the expectation set that she won't call insurance till the night before when the appointment was initially booked? Who knows? She just threw the schedulers under the bus and said it wasn't her problem because she's not one of them. Didn't care at all that I took the day off from work and have been stressing about this appointment since it was booked last month. Won't be going back to them after weeks of waiting to only get a call the night before, purely due to their negligence. Adding to insult, she gives me the -- usually reserved for airlines speak -- "sorry you thought that" type verbiage. I didn't even know she was canceling on me until the second half of the conversation because of the opaque way she was delivering the info. If you can help it, go somewhere where they value and treat patients as people who might have some anxiety over doing a big procedure. read more

Even with appointment, average wait time to your appointment with Dr Schumacher is 1 hour +. It seems they do not have much respect to their patients. Came here 3 times for the same reason to see Dr Schumacher and this was the case each time. @ Federal Way, they rescheduled my appointment but never let me know nor apologized. My husband has been trying for a week to make an appointment to get in for imaging and they want 10 yrs of his medical records and it took the rn from his dr to finally get thru yesterday to clarify as the last 5x she sent request for imaging they said they never received and they said that the reason was they wanted records was because they thought it was for L& I claim which it wasn't. So afterwards my husband call Rayus and they said they'd call ins. Etc., then call him back for an appointment, well we know ins was approved as we had already talked to them. Well this morning we called Rayus and they said they have know record of talking to his Dr's rn and that they weren't going to do his imaging and that it wasn't their problem. What the hell! We are asking to go to TRA.....what kind of training are these people getting? Who is managing them? There needs to be some sort of accountability for unacceptable behaviors and weed out your bad employees not some sort of click where they cover each other. read more

I went in for an epidural for my back. The front desk staff was very nice, friendly, and respectful. In fact, everyone i observed in the building was very friendly and happy. My doctor was fabulous! This was my first time here and he made sure i was comfortable and took it very slowly so that the pressure from the medication goinig into my back did not become unbearable. I will definitely go back to CDI if i ever need another procedure done. read more

Assembly line medicine at its finest. Pack your patience. I arrived at 9:15 for my 9:30 appointment. After a battery of paperwork (which could have been mailed in advance) they finally called me back at 10:10. The front office ladies are pleasant enough unless you interrupt their interoffice banter. My tech Dennis was awesome and made up for the excessive wait time with an informative and thorough Q & A regarding my CT. All in all it was clean and the staff was efficient. If they could only streamline that front office experience I would give another 2 stars. read more

I came here to get some X-rays done after my car accident. Even without an appointment my wait was not long. The person taking my x-rays was very courteous and even cracked a few jokes. In just over 15 minutes I was in and out of the place. This is a very well run facility. read more

Coming here was the best experience at a medical facility i have ever had the staff was very professional and personable. I almost forgot i was in pain...i was there to get an xray and the gentleman that was doing my xray was very informative and outgoing i would suggest this place above any other...i walked in (no appointment) and was seen in 15 minutes but the staff was so friendly i wanted to stay and chit chat lol.......highly recomended....keep up the good work guys. They do not take appointments and depending on how many people come in ahead of you, you could be waiting some time (in my case, 1 hour wait to be seen). The front desk person was less than friendly. But the techs in the back were extremely helpful and quick. They were responsive and helpful. read more

This review is for a breast MRI. Good - Everyone was professional. The man who gave me the IV was one of the best ever. I have probably had over 20 IVs and many times it is a horrible experience as I have veins that wiggle all over and are not straight. I kid you not, when I go for surgery, the thing that scares me the most is the IV. I almost walked out when the told me I'd get one. Needs work -I asked for a female tech and did not get one. When I asked, the scheduler hesitated and then said, "ok." This concerns me because I need regular pelvic ultrasounds. I did have one here once and it was a male. While he was professional, I was kinda freaked. Next time I go in for one, I will need to make sure they actually have female techs as I did not see any. Second, they were running behind and I waited about an hour before the procedure began read more

Excellent from start to finish. Patient care was awesome. The room was comfortable & very clean. My comfort was checked on regularly. I was given a warm blanket & comfy headphones. This was my first time at this clinic, but my third MRI. My experience here was far better than my previous MRIs. The machines are much larger and more open feeling, the technician was reassuring explaining every step, and you could actually hear the music. It was worth the hour drive! read more

I was amazed at the professionalism & personal care I received at CDI in Federal Way. I went a few weeks ago to have a MRI and the tech who worked with me was amazing. I was in so much pain made him aware of this, he took smaller sections for the MRI to give me a little break. After the results were sent over to my chiropractor it was recommended by them to consult for a possible neck injection. Again met with professionism and personal care. When I expressed I was nervous the coordinator was very helpful in saying it does sound scary but it's not really as bad as you think, she explained she had it done and she had so much relief. She said the doctor would consult and I could decide to have the procedure or not, there wouldn't be any pressure. After intense research and dealing with so much pain for months I decided to make the appointment and have the injection done. Dr Pollei and his assistant were amazing from the beginning which is the consult to the procedure. They both were so helpful, understanding and personable (they have great senses of humors). Throughout the process Dr Pollei explained everything he was doing while he was doing it and even checked in multiple times to make sure I doing ok and if I had any questions. After the procedure was done his assistant again was amazing at explaining after care. I couldn't be more happy with both experiences. read more
