They saw my brother for a broken femur, which is obviously not a small thing, and from the moment we were there, the care felt different. The provider who saw him took her time, didn't rush through anything, and actually answered all of our questions in a way that made sense. You could tell she cared, not just about the injury, but about him as a person going through it. Same goes for her medical assistant. Super kind, attentive, and just easy to talk to. It didn't feel cold or clinical the way some places do. It felt like they actually wanted to make sure we understood everything and felt supported. Honestly, after seeing how they handled his care, I've been seriously considering switching my own care over to them. That says a lot coming from someone who's pretty particular about where I go. If you're dealing with anything orthopedic-related and want a team that actually listens and treats you like a human, I would absolutely recommend them.

My right hand became so painful surgery was the only option. Dr. Guyette did the surgery on my right hand and there was no comparision with the surgery and recovery. Just 8 weeks later I'm using my right hand again and the pain is gone. I cannot reccomend Dr. Guyette enough. He is an excellent surgeon, explains everything very well and has a great personality!

Did some research on orthopedic surgeons and Dr. Gray popped up…read more Researched him and learned he is part of the Stryker Team (means nothing as it means he uses their products because they are ethical in their manufacture of products) and has been for quite some time. I was interviewing multiple doctors and he was just one of a few. He answered all my questions and they were extensive. He took the time to explain the procedure and what approach he was going to take. What recovery would look like and all the complications from a major surgery. His compassion was evident and he did not pressure me to chose him. I visited the other doctors and Dr. Richard Grey stood heads and shoulders above them all. I just had the first of two procedures, the procedure went as planned and a good prognosis is indicated. So when it comes time for the second surgery I have no doubt Dr. Gray will be as successful. Again if you need an orthopedic surgeon check Dr. Richard Gray out.

She's flexible with scheduling surgeries and will help you to decide which day and time would be ideal for getting set up. Dr. Miyano himself is great. He presented me with options and gave the likelihood of my ailment coming back. We had a medical student shadow for my appointment. I've had appointments where the doctor either lets the med. student take over entirely or ignore that they were even in the room making it awkward for everyone; Dr. Miyano doesn't do this at all. It was a comfortable consultation appointment. I felt guided with direction and empowered with the ability to choose what I wanted to do versus not being given options. I would highly recommend Dr. Miyano just based on one appointment and will write a follow up once I've gotten rid of my cysty wristy.

The pain was debilitating at times. As a hospital- based healthcare professional, I knew surgery was unavoidable if I wanted to live pain-free, while the risks of hospital born infection was more than I was willing to take. In my research of top orthopedic surgeons I wish I had extended my search from King Co to Pierce Co years earlier, while I am grateful that I listened to my fears and doubts and I did not go with the first orthopedic surgeon's recommendation! I cannot say enough about the care received by Dr. Steedman and his entire team leading up to and throughout surgery. Surgery in their facility was far safer than a large hospital setting, fewer risks of human oversight and life-threatening risks. Going home the same day, taking a total of 3 Tylenol in my recovery, walking 3600 steps within a week - and a minimally visible scar 8 weeks later. I haven't felt this great in YEARS!!!! Top influencers for me, leading to my initial consultation, included Dr Steedman's education at John Hopkins and.a US News favorable (5 stars) review. Dr. Steedman (as well as his entire staff) were all professional, kind, patient, and thorough, with not only providing all the information I needed to prepare for surgery, but answering all of my questions as well.
