This location does a pretty good job handling it's clients. It's conveniently located, had a nice waiting area and the staff are friendly and helpful. BUT... The phone process of scheduling an appointment is the worst of any company I have ever experienced. The call center is hopelessly backed up with waits of greater than 10 minutes being the norm. The hold messages gives no indication of how long the wait is expected to be and for more than the past year has been playing a message that blames the delays on the transition to a new medical records system. Management should ALL be terminated for gross incompetence. read more

THE WORST! First, the good- the people who work there were actually lovely. They were helpful and on time. My test was labeled STAT by my doctor, so here is the bad. The test was completed at 8:40 AM. I was asked to wait in case radiology had questions. Well, no one was there, so they sent me home 40 min later. Did I mention this test was supposed to be rushed? It is now 2 pm the next day, and NO ONE has read the test. I have canceled 2 doctor's appointments, and I am hoping they will have it by the end of the day today. I spoke to someone who said they didn't have a radiologist to read it. WHAT? That is all they do. I am pretty sure it is remote at that. I will never return. What gross incompetence. The fact that the test was labeled STAT and no one has looked at it is beyond comprehension. Maybe they should listen to their own message (which I did for the better part of 30 minutes) about how they are on top of things and care ablout patients. Just horrible. read more

My cardiologist wanted a calcium score test so I nervously called Rayus's central number to make an appointment ASAP. I spoke to a very nice person on the phone who easily made me a 4 PM appointment for the very same day at the Rayus facility nearby on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard! She instructed me to be there about 3:30, and assured me that it was an easy test, and that I would most likely I be out by 4:15. I arrived at 3:30, and a very cordial and capable woman at the front desk assisted me with my check-in. I was called back at about 4:05 by the technician. He was also very friendly and reassuring. And I was indeed out by 415! Perhaps best of all, the results were at my doctors before the end of the day I couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

I was scheduled for a 1 o'clock appointment. They told me to come in at 11:30. I get there about 1120 1125. I wait for 45 minutes before I go up and question what's taking so long. They tell me to sit down again in about 15 minutes later they call me back again and tell me that we need to reschedule and I said no we don't. I took a day off to come to this appointment. This location is beautiful. Very nice waiting room. All staff and nurses are very very nice and helpful. Ive been here twice and both times were excellent! Thought id be there for hours and i was only there for about an hour each time! One week ago, my wife had an x ray of her back. It took over a week for the radiologist to read the x-ray.. 8 days later, we received a call from our primary care with the results of the x-ray. It turned out that she had a small fracture of L 2. This late result was un called for. If I could rate ZERO, it would be accurate. I was in an accident and needed an xray of my hand (diagnosed as possibly broken bones). I went right there from the doctors' office, got the xray, and....never got the results! I walked around in pain with an immobile hand for almost 2 weeks before I said to heck with Rayus and went to the hospital where they xrayed it in 10 min. and I had the report shortly thereafter. All Rayus said was...we have a new computer system...we have people on holiday...we have staff out...we will call you back...we are trying to find your xray...blah, blah. Never again. Proceed with extreme caution. I was sent here for an MRI on my left foot. Arrived for the appointment and was told it was for a CT. I explained that the CT ordered was "standing/weighted" and was told they did not have the equipment to do this imaging. Even went back out to my vehicle and brought the prescription back in from the orthopedic showing where "standing/weighted" had been highlighted. I was assured that I was wrong and they had the prescription on their computer for the correct CT. After the orthopedic doctor got the results they called me to explain that Rayus performed the wrong imaging. I called and explained this to Rayus and they told me they would resolve it. Here we are more than 7 months and dozens of phone calls later and now they have sent me to a collection agency. This place is obviously only interested in performing as many billable exams as possible and obviously does not care if they are the correct exams or not. read more

The lowest standard of care I've experienced. My mother was sent in for a stat MRI, and, four weeks later, they have no radiology report. When I called to follow up, I was told that they're "backed up." One would think that a stat MRI indicates, shall we say, more immediate attention. If I could give 0 stars, I would. They seem pretty thorough here, at least going through protocol. Picture ID, Med cards, script and a plethora of questions prior to an MRI procedure my friend was having on her ankle. The waiting room is nicely laid out with tables and chairs far apart. The examination rooms are state-of-the -art and spotless to boot. The parking can accommodate over 50 vehicles. read more

One is put on hold for at least 15 minutes whenever you call I went in for an MRI, but they were unable to give me the disc and had to go to a different location 30 minutes away to pick it up When I went to the doctor a week later, the report wasn't ready and wouldn't be for another a few days- They're unable to tell me when exactly Another time I went there They were unable to fill my prescription, even though I had stopped by in the morning to make sure everything was in order. I give Reyes a negative rating. Ever since Rayus took over diagnostic centers of America the business should be ashamed of themselves. They are so understaffed with radiologists and people to work that it takes them over two or three weeks just to get the results and another week to post them on the patient portal. So if you're waiting for test results to see if you have cancer or something wrong with you, DO NOT choose Rayus. You'll be waiting a very long time. They had an issue with my STAT MRI and forgot me. They didn't even send it by end of day when I called them. It was ready soon after I had it done at 9am. Still the next day they hadn't sent it so again my do tor had to call. I ended up in ER. They also miscode tests and I experienced that with my son. The Worst imaging facility around. The tech was mediocre. Forget about customer service and front desk employees, they are pitiful and insipid . I don't get it, on a business sense. Expensive machines but go cheap on outsourcing DEI's doing schedules reports and getting images to patients. Employees seem not to be trained well in cosutomer service and being knowledgeable in their trade !! I am just too tired to go over all the details. Read the other truthful reviews. Same theme. Some people DO NOT have the command of the Kings English Now that's deplorable. And they are not forthright. Telling you the truth is not in their vernacular. Not happening in Rayus , honesty is a tertiary concept. Some sad tired excuse about upgrading their system. What, a month now upgrading, what are they using 1998 DSL technology, what a joke. Do not - I repeat do not go to Rayus Radiology if you don't have to. It's been 10 BUSINESS days since my husband had an MRI and they still have not sent the report to the doctor. They will not discuss it with you. They are sadly understaffed with radiologists to read the reports (which is usually done remotely by radiologists all over the world!). If you can go to any other radiology center, I highly recommend you do so. read more

This happened to my best friend too this past month. I was able to reach someone in pre-auth but said I reached the wrong dept. and could help me. My doctor sent me to Radiology. Because of a 3.7 mm mass that was picked up on a lower lumbar MRI . So I go to Rayus Radiology the day before to pick up a liquid they want you to drink 2 hours before procedure . Chalky nasty substance . Tastes like lead like I ate a handful of 6 oz pyramid LED . I go back to my doctor . Doctor says you have to have it done again it just shows it as a lesion on your liver . So I go through all the bullshit again drank the liquid . Show up for my appointment at Reyes Radiology . The gentleman who took me back for the procedure . Ask me why you drinking that it's not required for this procedure . I said the last two times I've had this procedure done you guys have made me drink this nasty stuff . He said your test does not require you to drink that liquid . I didn't take barium because barium has iodine and will be bitter . This stuff or any other social media platform was chalky like I was drinking a heavy metal literally . Don't be scared to question your doctor or the nurse they're human . Just like you they forget and make mistakes . He said my constipation and my poop being white was two of the side effects of the crap I drank . Makes me mad cuz I didn't have to drink that crap . That's a small form of malpractice I think . If I was more allergic to it I could be dead . I've been doing some reading on this chemical it scares me the more I read it . Don't think your doctor's always know everything . Get multiple opinions and do your own research . But do your own research through reputable places . Don't get your news from Facebook or any other social media platform . Go to reputable websites . I had a terrible experience with RAYUS in getting a MRI recommendation by my doctor to use this facility.First of all I had an appointment that I made by myself at the Palm Beach Gardens facility, when I arrived they said no you at West Palm beach at 10. My appointment was at 8 at the gardens. The people at the desk were rude and annoyed with me. I asked if they could fit me in the answer was no. I asked how to get to the other location, since e I live 10 minutes from where I made the appointment why would I make it in west palm when I had no idea how to get there. No one took the time to give me instructions, a stranger saw what was going and offered to put the address in my phone. She was also appalled by how no one wanted to take the to help me. I am 84 years old in terrible pain dealing with terrible staff and in tears. Finally I arrived at the other location and all went well, except my doctor has not received the report as of March 22 and the MRI was done on March 13. I have called numerous times and assured it would be sent out. My physical therapy place also called for me so they would know how to treat my condition. I recommend no one uses that facility if they want their report on a timely basis. read more

Efficient check in, respectful staff, clean facility. However,I had a simple chest x ray to rule out pneumonia. It's been 3 days and still the results aren't back. I should have gone to urgent care where results would have been within the hour but my physician wrote the order. I understand waiting a day or two but not three for a simple x ray. read more

I was referred to DCA by my GI dr for a gastric emptying study. I was told the test took two hrs. Instructions were NO food or beverage eight hours before the study. The exam was to assist in diagnosing why I have no appetite and unintentional weight loss. Prior to the exam I was instructed to eat a fair amount of oatmeal along with what I assume was some substance to light up the area. Trying to get that down while feeling very nauseous was not easy. I forced myself to eat it. I want to get better. Well, one hour into the test food odors start wafting into the room I'm in. Btw the area I was in is considered by DCA to be the GI wing. It turns out the "break room" is adjacent to the GI wing. This is where the staff eats meals and snacks. The food orders ooze through the a/c vent as per the tech! Staff should have a place to eat that shows consideration for patients suffering with GI complaints. As a result of what smelled noxious to me I felt sicker than when I arrived at this facility. I had to get out of the machine before the test was completed. Anyone ever thought of an air purifier? Shame on DCA!!!! Ps. Chrissy the supervisor/manager I asked to speak with after my experience did not say she was sorry. She was actually in the break room eating her lunch. She said the smell couldn't have been her meal. She was only eating "chicken salad." We ended the conversation with her telling me "I am not responsible for the design of this building!" Definitely do not recommend this place. I made an appointment for today at 4 PM over two weeks ago. I was early and the receptionist tried to tell me she did not have an order from my doctor. My doctor sent it on the 14th. Finally, another employee stepped in, and she found the order rather quickly. I thought all would be good to go from there. Wrong. I paid my co-pay and sat to wait to be called. Then, the receptionist comes over to tell me that because "I'm so young" I'm required to have an ultrasound prior to doing a mammogram. I asked why no one told me this PRIOR to my appointment time when they had my date of birth. She didn't know. Not to mention, I've had a diagnostic mammogram much younger (in my teens) without an ultrasound first, so it doesn't make sense to me. Regardless, even if that is the policy, you all need to tell someone before they show up for their appointment. I left work early for no reason and I will now have to have two additional appointments that could've been avoided. So inconsiderate for a potential patient. I will go elsewhere. read more
