I confirmed the pick up time for 10 am on a Thursday. But they didn't come at 10 am, or 1015 am, or 1030 am, or 1045 am, or 11 am, or 1115 am, or 1130 am, or 1145 am, or 12 pm -- or ever. They didn't call me to tell me that they weren't coming. They didn't text me to tell me that they weren't coming. They didn't email me to tell me that they weren't coming. They didn't answer my two calls to find out where they were. So I waited at home for them for 2 hours -- for nothing. They eventually apologized, by email, and asked for a "second chance" and offered me a discount of some kind. I emailed them three times to avail myself of their "second chance" and discount. When I told them I'd give them the "second chance" that they sought, they ignored me. So one week later, I followed up with them a second time. And then I followed up with them a third time. They bailed on their own pitch to me for a "second chance". So they not only were "no shows" for a scheduled pick up, which wasted 2 hours of my valuable time, but they failed to embrace my (idiotic) willingness (three times!) to give them a "second chance".

I hired this company to sand blast the color coat of stucco from my house. They started out seeming…read morelegit. They came to the house prior to giving me an estimate, they brought their equipment and did test sand blasting in a couple locations to see how difficult it was going to be to remove the color coat. They then produced an estimate. In the mean time while I was waiting for the estimate I was removing my windows and decided to completely remove the stucco on the entire two sides of my house. I then had them come to the house to blast the remaining stucco, which was about half of what they originally needed to do. They blasted the stucco and it was a nightmare. They did no dust control and the entire neighborhood was covered in dust from their lack of remediation. I had to pay to have my neighbors cars clean because of the layer of dust all over. They then included in the estimate clean up, I have attached pictures to show their clean up.....they left so much sand in my rain gutters that they were falling off my house. After they were done they then billed me the same price they gave me the estimate for but the problem is they had to blast half the amount of what they gave me an estimate for. I was given multiple excuses of how the stucco was just hard to get off, yet they already had done the test spots and knew what they were up against. This company is a fly by night operation and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I dropped off 4 vintage black wire chairs with Jack and Daniel today. They are rusted at the bottom…read moreand have been outdoors for 26 years so it was time to powder coat again. They are sandblasting them first (each in two pieces.) I've powder coated many pieces of vintage patio furniture out in Palm Springs and Jack's quote was reasonable and right on target. I was shocked by the high price of some of their LA competing bids, one of which was more than twice as much per chair. They are a new business and are turning around the furniture really fast, so that's a plus too! I picked up the chairs and their work is meticulous! The chairs were waiting for me covered in plastic wrap. I discovered that not only had the guys powder coated the chairs, but the chairs had also been primed which is not typical. I've had tons of stuff powder coated and the place I used in the past in Palm Springs never primed my pieces...so I'm impressed! I took the chairs home and while I was cutting off the plastic wrap I had time to carefully examine their work and it is truly FLAWLESS!!! There was not a single bump or blip and I am very very picky. They had to take the chairs apart to properly sand blast them and then put them back together since the chairs were manufactured in 2 parts. It was obvious that they had done exactly this because the screws that held them together were now shiny and new. Kudos to Emerald Powder Coating for doing an incredible job. I'll be bringing all my friends here. In fact as soon as I got home, a contractor friend of mine stopped by, noticed how great a job Jack and Daniel did and promptly asked me for Emerald Powder Coating's contact information.
