This guy is a jerk. I went to him twice and he couldn't stop judging my opinions. I was only ever nice to him and he knew I only went to him because he would accommodate my opinion but whenever I was there all he did was complain. His fades are only okay and since he works on a tight schedule he doesn't take his time and will ignore or be too hasty with the top part of your hair. Really fast with the haircut got in for my 10:30 was out by 10:47 has excellent line work and technique. When I first brought my sons here almost a year ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't like your typical barber shop. Ray is the only barber, so appointments are a must, and preferably done a week or so in advance, (although he has fit my boys in at the last minute on more than one occasion). First things first, the guy is super chill and personable. To be honest with you, thats hard to find in a barber nowadays. Now theyre always talking on their phone and talking to the other barbers....and frankly I dont find that professional. I like this guy because he is solo, in the middle of a huge womens Salon tucked away in his own little corner. I initially came to his shop one day without an appointment and saw if he could fit me in. He showed me his schedule and apologized cuz he was booked solid. We got my name down for 3 days later and it was a greta experience. I dont really know too much about hair or how to explain what the hell it is that I want done...but he knew exactly how to cut it and it was done in a timely manner and exceuted pretty damn flawlessly. The haircut was on the higher end price wise...but I will continue to go here because personal service and professionalism trumps price to me.
