I have picked up many guns here that were priced below what I could sell them for on gunborker.com I think Chris P. 1 star review about $140 for 200 rounds of 9mm is funny because you would love to be able to find 9mm now and if you find it it is almost twice that much. read more

In an effort to mount a scope onto my cz .452 I needed to remove a pin, or so I thought, from the rear site leaf. This would give the objective lens clearance and allow the scope tube to be seated into the scope rings properly. So I called CZ who told me most folks remove the pin VIA a punch tool, and use a gunsmith if needed. I made a couple of attempts, but no luck. I figured any gunsmith should have the proper tools, and would be able to remove the pin without breaking the bank. So off to the closest gunsmith, Razorback Armory. Razorback Armory is located off Manchester Rd, in Des Peres MO. (same strip mall as the Tennis shop). I brought the rifle in and after inspecting it the VP of this place, Jesse Rolfes, told me that I had attempted to remove 'the pin' incorrectly (i.e. right to left), and as a result both ends of the pin were now "mushroomed" due to my attempt with the punch tool. The solution, Jesse eplained, was to: a) drill out the mushroomed portion of the pins and; b) create a jig and; c) press the pin out. I was told minimum bench charge was $35, but since this "project" required drilling, creating a jig, and pressing the charge would be increased to $55. I agreed thinking there was no way around this and picked up my firearm just a few days later. Once home I inspected the rear site leaf, and corresponding spring which they'd put into a baggie for me. Low and behold this was not a roll pin assembly, and after further research I learned that NO TOOLS at all are required to remove the site leaf. It takes under 20 seconds once you have the rifle cradled so that your thumbs can depress and pull back. Talk about lack of integrity, blowing smoke, and price gouging. Note: When I picked it up Jesse said to me "I even manged to get it out without screwing anything up." I will NEVER step foot into this store again, and neither should you! read more

This place charged me 140 dollars for 200 rounds of 9m ammo. Now a business can charge whatever they want but this is still taking advantage. So I just wanted to leave a review here so others won't waste their time going. When asked about the insane price all the guy said is "the worlds ending". So Just to put things in perspective. You can get a box of 100 9mm rounds for $28 at bass pro and they'll ship it to you. That's your price as the consumer. That's the price you would pay right now. Even with "the world ending". This group of crooks can buy straight from the manufacture and buy in bulk. Which makes it even cheaper for them. In closing. It's their business they can charge what they want. I just made the review to save all of you the time. As their prices give you clear insight on their morals and ethics. read more

I had an old .22 Remington rifle my Dad gave me I used on the farm when I was a kid that would not fire correctly and would jam. Razorback took a look at it and let me know it was a circa 1930's vintage gun and they could fix it. They took some parts from an old gun they had fired parts and fixed it good as new in less than a week for a great price. I was very pleased and highly recommend them to everyone. They also gave me a great price on a a replacement butt stock if I wanted to replace it where my Daf had used epoxy to hold it together. I may do this sometime due to the excellent price they quoted! My buddy plans to bring them a WWII rifle fir repair based on my recommendation! Great service, knowledgeable guys and great prices! read more
