My first time at Razoux. Small shared parking lot, so spaces are limited. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised. It was very bright and clean. I was greeted as I walked in and offered coffee or water and shown to the small but nice waiting area. And the women at the front desk were extremely pleasant and courteous. My hairdresser introduced herself and we went to her seat where I told her the issues with my hair. She was very nice and gave some hints to improve my hair style. The haircut was good, but based on our conversation, I was surprised at the amount of product she put on my hair. (My hair is very thin.) First was a spray, then a mousse, and then a final spray (a different product than the first one.) Because my hair is so thin it has left my hair feeling gross and dirty and as the day has gone on it even looks dirty. I would say it was an ok experience, but I wasn't wowed. One big downside for me was the smell of smoke from the hairdresser. When she first approached I got a wave of it and throughout the appointment I would get frequent whiffs of it. Not a fan of the lingering smoke smell. I have had a previous hairdresser that smoked and never smelled it on her. For me the smoke smell is just something that bothers me. Overall the salon is very pleasant and uses modern equipment. I will see how the cut works out and decode if I will go back, and maybe try someone else. Undecided. read more

I am picky about my hair and haven't been able to find a stylist that I live in 4 years. Today I did. Stacy did my hair, with a little help from Adam, and I am beyond pleased. Best hair in years. Love this place so much! I'm so picky about my hair and Adam does simply exceptional job! He is one talented stylist! I get the most beautiful blond color and a ton of compliments about it. (Also exceptional haircuts and upstyles) My daughter loves to see Lauren for her hair cuts and beautiful braids. Monica does this really awesome eyelashes treatment "lift and tint" which lets your your eyes to look beautiful with no mascara! I would give them a 1000000 stars if I could read more

Had my hair cut with Stacey yesterday. She was amazing. I love the cut and got compliments from several of my friends and family. Also got my eyebrows done by Monica. They are perfect and didn't break out at all. I usually have some swelling and redness for a day when I get them done but not with her. First off, let me just say that all of the staff members at Razoux and Co. are attentive, friendly and professional. I have been pounding the pavement, consulting with various other salons, but I just wasn't getting a good feeling from any of them...until now . 2 weeks ago, I emailed/messaged a couple of local salons with decent reviews on Yelp. I asked 3 basic questions regarding my hair needs. Well...Razoux was the ONLY salon that responded to my email! Not only that, but Adam answered me almost immediately! He didn't seem to mind corresponding with me back and forth. I felt like I knew him when I came in for my appointment yesterday, I was made to feel like I was his only client, the entire staff was amazing and treated me like a person and not just a dollar sign. Today was my first experience and let me tell you it blew my mind. Staff was very very nice, funny, gentle, generous and so much more. This was my first time at Razoux and Company. What an absolutely amazing experience! On a crummy rainy day I went in feeling frumpy & dumpy, but that didn't last long ! From the minute I walked through the door, I was greeted by Lauren & Kara. They were both so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They let me know that Adam would be right with me and asked if I wanted anything at all to drink.....coffee, water, tea or even a glass of wine! The entire salon is so tastefully decorated! I wanted to hire the interior decorator to do my house! But then I found out that it was all Adam! He is beyond talented!! So when it comes to hair, styling, decorating and taste Adam has it all! It's been a while since I had my hair done! I got the works.... full highlight, gloss, conditioner, cut and blowout etc... The colors were beautiful! When he was done, my hair looked and felt so healthy! It needed it desperately and he did the trick! Lauren did an amazing job washing my hair. The sink was unbelievably comfortable! I have what some might call a tender head and I am never comfortable getting my hair washed, but today was the exception! I could've sat there for hours with my head in the sink and would have been just fine. The "hair dryer" that you sit under was awesome! Something like I've never seen before! Top-of-the-line and state of the art equipment all around. You can absolutely take a phone call being under the dryer and you can hear perfectly. It barely makes any sound at all. I will definitely be back sooner rather than later! I can't wait to try some of the other services that they provide. They have quite an extensive menu of options from Botox, eyelashes waxing and all to do with hair of course, which is awesome! I will absolutely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great salon and spa experience! A coworker recommended I come here after I wasn't completely satisfied with a cut I got elsewhere a few months ago. Paula was awesome! I got exactly the cut I was originally looking for, and she made recommendations on how I can style it (I am not fluent in hair and makeup). Also, I have never in my life been offered a glass of wine while I get my hair done, so that was an extra bit of pampering that was greatly appreciated! Everyone was super nice and welcoming, especially the woman at the front desk. I have a pixie with coarse, curly/wavy hair that is "poofy." I'm not a stylist by a long shot and doing my hair has never been my strong suit. I try my best to make it clear I can't have bangs but I still want a feminine cut and not too short. I also have alopecia areata- a bald spot. I have a challenging head of hair to say the least. I don't always know the right terminology to use so I do bring pictures of my hair from my previous stylist (I recently moved). Paula did my hair and honestly seemed a bit distracted. She was nice and chatty but didn't seem to be paying attention to my hair. I showed her what I do to style my hair and, again, make it clear what is within my abilities and comfort level. She went way too short on the sides and even asked if I liked the sides short- which I replied "no." She also cut the front in the opposite direction of my normal growth and where I showed her I parted it and when I brought it up she told me I should have said something sooner. Again, I don't know how each stylist does their thing and didn't realize her end game. When I realized what was happening I spoke up. She said it needed to be cut short to fix problem areas. While that may be true it still wasn't what I asked and she didn't communicate with me about my hair. The worst part is that she didn't fade my hair to cover my bald spot like my previous stylist. She just left a chuck of hair much longer than the rest. I know pixies isn't in everyone's wheelhouse, but communicating is key. I've been turned away from stylists because they weren't comfortable with my hair or cut. That's fine! I'd prefer that. I would recommend this place but caution you to be better than I and call to find out who would be the best match if you have anything other than a typical woman's long cut. read more

Cute salon and everyone is very friendly. However, scheduled an appointment for a cut and color. I specifically asked for someone who could do balayage because I don't like how foils turn out. Showed up for the appointment and was told the stylist would be doing a combination of both foils and balayage. I have had balayage twice now and have never had a "combination", but said ok. The color is not bad but it was not what I wanted at all. It looks like I had highlights done with foils (which is exactly what happened). I gave 3 stars because it is a nice place and the staff is friendly. Not sure balayage is a service they offer though... at least not with the person I saw. read more

I have been a client of Adam's for several years now. He is incredibly talented and passionate about what he does. If you're bored with your color or cut, he has a great eye for what can be done. You won't be disappointed!! I'm always receiving compliments on my hair color and/or cut. The salon also offers Botox. Had an appt with a Lauren today. I was a little concerned with her age and experience level because she was so young but, she did an exceptional job. Told me all about their products and many other things but wasn't pushing me to buy. She was very friendly and open which made me comfortable. I used my Groupon with no problem. I had eyelash extensions put on last Tuesday. I contacted the beautician who applied them on Saturday because more than 50% had fallen off. By Tuesday a week later I had maybe 10% left. I paid over $260 in total for these extensions with the "products" to clean the lashes with. I even left a $45 dollar tip. I am very disappointed in the fact that I followed all the instructions and directions to a T and no offer for a refund or a discount was made. Instead they wanted me to pay full price for them to fix them. I will never return UPDATE Since this post my 8 year old daughter lost her father to his battle with cancer. I had attempted to keep resolving this issue with the beautician I worked with and kept her up to date on my personal situation. I was contacted today Dec 12 by the owner who explained I should have contacted him instead of posting on Yelp and social media. He also said that in the last two weeks I did not reach out, however I did reach out several times. The owner was very hostile and made it a point to stress he was contacting me. I made him aware I was dealing with a death of a loved one and an 8 year old who lost her father. He did say he was sorry for our loss, but still continued to very abrasive. He offer me a refund of $107 and said he could not refund the cleanser. He did ask me if I thought this was acceptable and I expressed not really. He then said if I was not happy he would refund nothing. I said that paying over $100 for lashes that last 5 days was not what I thought was appropriate. He told me posting on social media and Yelp was not appropriate. At one point he refuses any refund. Our interactions ended when he said he would be mailing me a refund for $107 Adam can you please let me know how much of a refund you provided? Had a great experience getting a cut and blow out here! I just left and my hair looks and feels great! Lauren did an amazing job putting in layers and really took her time to blow dry my hair smooth-- which I appreciate because I have a ton of hair and can't stand doing it myself! Went to Razoux w a groupon bc I wanted to try out a new salon closer to home. To start with a positive, the salon is beautiful and I was kindly greeted when I walked in. After my appointment, I wasn't thrilled with the color, but figured I'd give it a day or so to get used to. Stylist told me I could come back in a couple days for her to fix it if I wanted her to...Decided to scroll through the company's Facebook page to read reviews this morning, and happened upon a post on Razoux's review page from the stylist I went to yesterday. Clicked on her name and found a meme posted on her Facebook page sarcastically quoting a comment I shared after seeing the color. Super professional. Will not return. read more

I needed to find a new hairdresser and I had a Groupon for Ombre, Cut and blow dry. Receptionist was great.. Very friendly! My hairdresser was very friendly BUT.. Put color in my hair then after told me she forgot I had a groupon so I had to pay $55 extra.. Asked if it was ok? But since color was already in... A little late for that.. I asked for blonde ombré.. Ended up with caramel ( hate it ) and she didn't do ombre.. She chose to do Baylage ( sp) then she cut my hair.. It's all uneven, I have these layers that I never asked for and its short layers! I'm very unhappy!! Not what I wanted at all and for the money I payed... ( more then I wanted also since she never told me about the color) .. Very upsetting .. Now I have to spend more money to get it fixed. read more

I was not happy with my color, cut and overall experience. The salon itself is nice and staff was pretty friendly but the stylist i had did not do what i wanted i came out of there with brown hair and short pieces next to my face which i didnt want. I wanted to stay blonde but fix my roots with a foil and wanted a trim. I now have brown hair which i hate and random short pieces of hair next to my face :/ also stylist was very rough with my hair/head and almost burned my scalp with the blow dryer. read more
