I came in as a walk in and waited 40 minutes- fair enough. After waiting, a barber told me another barber was ready and had a bad feeling once I had turned around. I did not want to be rude, so I thought to myself "okay, let's give her a shot". To make it a long story short, not close. Showed her a reference photo, asked for a little off the top, 2 on the sides, and a taper on the back. Online- says $35- I get told my haircut is $45 because it varies per barber so * be warned * for a haircut that was under 30 minutes. The low taper on the back was good. I normally don't leave bad reviews, I had to download Yelp to leave this here. I'm pretty frustrated because I look uneven from the front, my sides are different, and I had to pay 50 after tip for a mid cut. Actually, I'm pretty pissed. read more

Walked in and asked if they were taking walk-ins and the man says "of course they're supposed to start at three but I guess I can take you now". It was at 3:06. He then proceeded to tell me "they don't do longer hair there". Maybe I am mistaken but any barbershop I have been too before is able to cut long hair. This barbershop is lacking customer service more and more by the week it's very sad to say because I have been coming here since they relocated. With greed my barber somehow jumped his price from $20 up to $30 for just a regular fade, I think his name is Kyle. & without warning, he said this AFTER you got your cut, when all the other barbers charge $20 consistently. Today's my last day coming here because not only am I somehow getting charged $30 but I sat as a walk-in while two other people who came in after me got sat as walkins before me. While two other barbers are standing around with nobody in their chairs talking.. All in all customer service is talking with your guest to see if they are a walk in so you're not screwing over people's time.. Sad to say, but there's plenty of barber shops around with more consistent guest service then being flat out ignored & Overcharged on top of it read more

Rob is a master barber...went there for most of my haircuts but my schedule,travel and distance from work has forced me to go to a spot much more convenient. However he is an excellent barber...tremendous with the clippers...always great fades and blending....no nonsense approach...in and out with a great cut. I will be back when time permits. read more

Hands down, easily the best barber shop in all of Tampa. They truly deserve more than these 5 stars! My husband has been coming here for a little over a year now and I couldn't be more thrilled with the cut he comes home with and the professionalism we always receive when he goes there. I have accompanied my husband in here many times, even with our small daughter and we always feel welcomed. Every single time. If there's one thing I always felt when I walked into other barber shops, because of the feel and the conversations being held in there, was that women just didn't belong in this sort of establishment. But this shop is totally different. The music and television show choice is always appropriate, never anything provocative playing. As a woman, it's a very comforting feeling to feel so welcomed into such a manly environment. I strongly recommend this shop. To everyone! I recommend asking for Rob or Nat. Both gentlemen are very knowledgeable in their craft and by far the most professional barbers I've met in my time. WEST SIDE BARBERSHOP- The overall barbershop was nicely set up. The barbers chair weren't that comfortable. I was literally losing circulation in my arms as I was sitting there. And it's usually my legs from sitting too long. The reason I'm giving this barbershop 1 star is because of a barber in particular named EDDY. I felt as if I gave him very thorough instructions, more than enough info on how I wanted my hair cut to look and he completely screwed that sh*t up. He had one job!!! fade the sides INTO the Mohawk that way it all flows and blends together, then skin fade the bottom. I left that barbershop with a standard low hair cut NOO Mohawk. I don't know what the hell this is but it damn sure ain't a Mohawk. Then as he's finishing up I was going to ask him to correct some things after I had already asked him to correct some areas. He began to rush me and ignore me so I would get out of the chair. He'll never get $25 out of me ever again!!! WORST BARBER EVER!! And a sorry ass hair cut for someone that's been cutting for 3 years. You need to go back to barbershop or just quit! No tip for you sir !! Didn't even cut the hairs under my beard or over my mustache. I look as if I never got a hair cut I just paid him do something I prolly could have done my damn self. The vibe is completely chill and relaxed. Each and every barber shows love and consideration for everyone, even if you are not their personal client. The funny barbershop banter is light hearted and entertaining. Barbers clean up hair for other barbers so that the shop stays clean and it is always organized. I've done a walk in a couple of times until I found my barber but now that I've found the one that I like, I'll keep going back to him. I use Tony but I've seen good results from all of them. I've been a regular here for about two years now. I have my preferred barbers that I go to, but I've never received a bad haircut from any of the guys in the shop. The price is very reasonable for a good cut ($20 + tip). It's great going to a place where the guys are super chill and make you feel welcomed. The newer Shave Lounge is a refreshing upscale option.
