Please read my review before getting a haircut from this place, my kids got a hair cut there and whoever cut his hair, she mess up, very very badly to his hair, now he have to wear beanie to cover her mess up. My three kids and I went to Cindy's Barbershop a little after noon this Sunday. Our experience was awsome. Cindy was at the front cutting someones hair. She and Emory both welcomed us. The shop was clean and all of the barbers continually made sure their customers were comfortable. We didnt have appointments. I watched all of the barbers as they finished up the people they had in their chairs and then let my kids go first. All of the barbers were very friendly with the people in their chairs and it was clear these guys are all professionals. Emory cut my hair. All three of my kids said afterwards they received one of the best haircuts they ever had in their life...something hard to get three teenagers to agree on. I completely agree with them. Nobody there. 15 minutes later a woman opens the door and has an appointment waiting (apparently she's 15 minutes late for that appointment and ask HER to reschedule). She finally asks what I'm doing...waiting for a haircut? She only does her clients and doesn't know when anybody else is coming. 9:30? 10? Who owns this place? Where are the employees? I didn't wait around for an unspecified amount of time to see if someone else showed up. Are you open at 9a? The answer is no. Recently moved to the riverview area and looking for a good shop to keep up with my undercut, and I think just may have found it. Good location, clean shop. I went in the middle of the day during the week so the shop was pretty empty. Lauren was who took care of me and I was happy with the job she did, especially considering it had been a while since I had got my haircut. She even fixed the last guys mistake. I came to this barber shop because I needed to clean up my undercut. I called and spoke to someone to make sure it wasn't to busy and was told I could come right over. Finding the location was easy. It's just off 301 and I was really happy that it wasn't one of those "hidden" locations. I read some reviews prior and felt comfortable going there. It's a nice little gem; shop front looked nice and inside was nice a clean. The gentleman that told me to come in actually ended up cutting my hair. I have him a general description of what I wanted and he hooked me up! :-D I was soooooo happy with my cut and knew I would definitely be coming back! Now the ONLY CON is I can't understand why a nice place like this will not take Apple Pay?! Moved from NY and was dreading the awful search of finding a barber that can cut my hair like my guy in NY. I'm Asian so my hair grows straight out. You can't cut the top with scissors. You have to have free hand buzzer skills to get the top even. Thank God I found Cindy. She has the skills! Very good and CONSISTENT! I've come three times now and I will not be switching back to my old salon ways. This time Lauren cut my hair and she did a great and thorough job (military style with fo-hawk) so the blend/tapering was perfect. After the cut, I was given one of the best shampoos I've ever had and a much better rate than salon prices. Cindy and another guy cut my hair the other times I went and they both did a great job. Did not ask for any preferences or details except for the initial cut: made his own assumptions. Was completely asymmetrical in length and style, did NOT taper as asked.
