I'm happy to share a positive service review for Noah's Ark Plumbing & Excavating…read more(https://www.facebook.com/Noaharkplumbing/, 724-683-4739). I have owned my home for fifteen years now, and I've always had issues with my kitchen sink draining slowly from time-to-time. Several different plumbers have taken a look, and they've each offered a solution - snaking, reconfiguring the under-sink plumbing, even installing a very expensive stent. None of the previous plumbers took the time or had the ability to correctly diagnose and completely repair the problem - until Ryan, Michelle, and Larry from Noah's Ark Plumbing & Excavating. When I called Ryan, he responded promptly and put me on the schedule right away. When he was unable to resolve the problem with the equipment that he had on hand, he came out the next day with what was needed. After working diligently, he was not satisfied with the results, so he took the time and applied his expertise to actually diagnose the problem. It turns out that the previous owners hadn't connected the kitchen drain to the sewer line when they converted from septic to city sewage! It was still connected to a poorly draining greywater line. Because my house sits on a slab (no basement, no crawlspace) and because I didn't want to jackhammer up the kitchen floor, Ryan put a lot of effort into identifying the best way to get this challenging job done. Despite the complications, the Noah's Ark team were always polite, professional, and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure that the job would be done correctly at an affordable cost to me. In one day's time, they were able to excavate in my yard as needed to connect my kitchen drain into the public sewer system, and I now have a fully functional kitchen sink drain that should never need more work beyond routine maintenance. Because they did not have to excavate as much as originally estimated, they actually charged me LESS than the original estimate! That's honesty! Did I mention that Noah's Ark guarantees their work for as long as I own my home!? When was the last time you heard that sort of guarantee!? In the process of this project, Ryan also unclogged my laundry room floor drain, and he was ready to re-route it if needed - again exploring intelligent alternatives to excavating through my home's floor. Fortunately, he and Michelle got the job done without having to reconfigure any plumbing. Despite a delay on another client's project, they still made it out to my home on the day they promised, even though it meant working into the evening. The Noah's Ark Plumbing & Excavating team are exceptional. They respond to calls, book appointments in a timely manner, and keep those appointments. The rates are affordable, and even more importantly, they take the time to correctly diagnose the problem and to implement a proper (and guaranteed) solution. Ryan took the time to involve me in the process so that I would understand the problem(s) and the options for remedying them. I greatly appreciated his honesty and respectfulness. I would enthusiastically recommend Noah's Ark to family and friends, knowing that they could depend on the crew to do a great job. Note: I am not related to Noah's Ark Plumbing & Excavating in any way, nor did I know them prior to hiring them for this project. I'm just a very satisfied customer. I've spent my entire adult life in customer service and know that you cannot please everyone, but I…read morereceived absolutely abysmal customer service today at Key Precast. The woman behind the counter was unfriendly, rude, and offered little more than "no" answers without offering suggestions. I have tanks just off my extended driveway and was looking for ideas as to how I could reinforce my risers and lid in the event someone drove off my driveway. Her response was, "You really shouldn't drive over them." Really? Thanks Captain Obvious! She pointed to a heavier duty lid and said, "we have that." I asked to see it and as she set it on the counter, I again attempted to seek her assumed knowledgeable assistance and asked if there were concrete lids or if I could maybe even concrete around the risers for support. Her reply was, "No, you can't do that." I asked if she had other suggestions, but she blankly stared at me, answered an incoming phone call, and began assisting the customer on the line. I waited and around a minute or so later, while still on the phone, she looks over to me and says, "Are you still thinking or what?" I said that I'd take the heavier duty lid and two six inch risers (I figured it was a better option than the basic lid I had currently). Still assisting the caller on the line, she gave me the total and as I handed her my card she said, "No! No cards." After I pinched myself to make sure it was 2022 where "plastic" is the number one form of payment, I said that I would have to come back. As I left, I couldn't help but feel that I was totally discarded as a customer. Don't worry lady... I won't be back. I hope the next customer encounters someone friendlier and more willing to help, than I did.
