Of course you have liability waivers to fill out, but that's expected. What was not expected how much friendly and detailed safety, gun handling, stance work, thought, attention to detail, etc., was given to you throughout your stay. If you have your own weapons, they do not try to up sell you on anything. The suggestions they give comes with explanations and are logical. I'll leave it at this, if you want a safe environment to learn about weapons, with a highly competent staff, this is the place to go. I saw archery stuff to go with the plethora of gun stuff that's all around. I like the many hunting trophies that are around the place as well. I can't wait to go back and try the outdoor shooting range, as well as target practice inside.

The shooting lanes are nice, new, and well maintained, and bullseye targets are available free to visitors. The range safety officers are helpful and watchful, firing breaks are well timed, and the fellow shooters all seemed friendly and safety-oriented. The pistol range is set for 10 and 25 yard target placement, the rife range is 25/50/100/200 yards. While I didn't use the 200 yard range, it's nice to have available. It's the only public range I've visited that will accommodate distances greater than 100 yards, and only one of two ranges I've seen with this feature. Good things to know before visiting: -Free bullseye targets, but no other options, and no other targets/ammo sold -Free loaner ear and eye protection -Sign in at the front -No rapid/automatic fire, controlled pairs seem to be tolerated -No .22 LR on the rife range--apparently they tend to skip the berms -Rifles seem to be OK on the pistol line -No drawing from holsters

Discount jewelery and loan is $30 so there are cheaper places to ship to but not much. They have an indoor range where you can rent firearms or bring your own to practice. I've always preferred outdoor over indoor though so I didn't actually get to see the range. They also have ammo, accessories, etc for sale. I don't know if they allow full auto or not or to what caliber they allow. I meant to ask but got side tracked looking around. This won't affect most people anyway as they don't have a license for full auto but I do. I usually run the gauntlet on the outdoor range down 49 with the Sheriff's office. The two employees that were there when I went, I assume one of them was the owner, were both friendly and answered any question I had. There are covered picnic benches outside where I'm assuming you could clean your weapons after you're done plinking before you leave. If they're not for that purpose I'm not really sure what they're there for. They have gunsmiths on staff they said, with not too bad of wait times. Just bring your firearm that needs repairing, tell the smith what's wrong with it, and leave it with them. I was told the wait should be less than 2 weeks when I went. So if you're looking for an indoor range the staff are friendly here and it seems like a good place to try out. I forget how much they charge so you'd have to call and ask them for that.

Made the process easy to understand how to set up for getting your certification done. The wife was not stressed about taking the shooting portion of the test. We pwill return there again when it's time to recertify, highly recommend if you are in that area and need your license. They also have a store there where you could purchase more "items"
