Corbett Chiropractic & Health Enhancement - Dr. Corbett

Last sping, I was lifting weights, and suddenly my head felt like it was going to fall off. The next day we left for vacation and I didn't sleep for days because I was in so much pain. After we got home, I did some research and was really impressed by Dr. Corbett's website. After calling to schedule an appointment, they saw me relatively quickly. He did some funky x-ray and tension sensor thing that apparently shows them were the issues are and I don't think my insurance covered all of that- it was like $40 so not a big deal. I experienced immediate relief after the first appointment although my pain did return shortly thereafter. After that, it got better with every appointment. Since then, I have recommended a couple of friends to him and they have been equally as pleased. This clinic also has a massage therapist which I plan on utilizing in the very near future. I'm in my twenties and the last thing I even want to consider is surgery so this place has been a great holistic alternative.

He will give you clear explanations on how to maximize your spinal health without pushing unnecessary treatments. He is always very professional and ensures that each spinal adjustment is done with care. He never rushes through an adjustment! At other chiropractic places, if I really needed an adjustment, I would have to wait over a week to get in! Not with Pete! I appreciate the fact that I NEVER have to make an appointment! After my first visit I could walk into his office during his hours and get adjusted. This was great for me since my schedule gets a little crazy and I can't always schedule my adjustments. It's so great I can walk in when I need it and Pete will be ready within a few minutes. Another great thing is that Petes is also super affordable and has a great membership program and student program! My previous chiropractor would charge me $65 in copay for my insurance per visit and then almost another $30 dollars after my insurance went through. Then they tried to tell me it was "saving me money." At Pete's since I am a student, I get a really affordable rate that fits with my budget! Once I graduate in May, I still plan on going to Pete's because he will still be the most knowledgeable, most professional, and most affordable affordable option. If what I have already written doesn't convince you, I drive 20 minutes out of my way to go see Pete each time I need an adjustment. That is how awesome Pete's Chiropractic is!

When I asked for a referral the clinic manager called and was rude. She refused to give me a referral because a new doctor might be late. When I repeatedly explained being late on occasion was not the problem and the doctor had been 15 minutes late our ladt appointment time she told me to get care outside off Allina or get my meds from my primary doctor. So if you say anything negative about a doctor or the clinic they refuse service.

Unfortunately, the Allina Health Northfield Clinic has been very disappointing to me. I am a…read morestudent at St. Olaf College. I began going to Allina primarily for my weekly allergy shot injections but also to be under the care and supervision of a psychiatrist. Since Allina is close to St. Olaf, it seemed like it would be easy and convenient. Sadly, my experiences at the Northfield Allina Health Clinic have been negative. First, despite having a regular appointment time every week, I am often waiting for a while after my appointment time to be seen. Second, the individual administering my allergy shots tends to speak to me in a condescending and rather insulting manner. Yes I am on the autism spectrum, but I am an adult and I don't need to be talked-down-to by my medical provider that I am paying for. Third, they have a policy where you MUST wait 30 minutes after receiving your allergy shot (in contrast, my allergy injection clinic at home in Illinois typically does not make me wait, and when I rarely do have to it is only for 10 mins; also, I have epi-pens and have had no adverse reactions in the past so this policy just wastes my time. Fourth, my family helped me set up care with a psychiatrist at the start of the school year. A month or so ago, I found out my psychiatrist was unexpectedly leaving the Allina Health Clinic. They assured me they would transfer me to another psychiatrist at the clinic for continuity of care. Well that was a lie. The soonest appointment with this new psychiatrist was not until three months going forward. Yikes. As if that wasn't bad enough, Allina called me to tell me they had an earlier opening for a 7:45 am appointment in January. I was excited and relieved I would get to see my psychiatrist sooner. Then they tell me the provider actually doesn't come in that early, that I will have to reschedule, and that they already gave my original March appointment to someone else so it will take even longer to see someone. Seriously!? You call me to reschedule me to a time slot that actually doesn't work and then refuse to give me priority to my original appointment date and time? Avoid this clinic at all costs. The only reason I still use them is because I am their hostage / have no other choice. I am not allowed to administer my own allergy shots, the St. Olaf nurse's office does not administer allergy shots, and the Northfield hospital does not administer allergy shots either. So for now I'm stuck with them unless I decide to drive for an hour into Minneapolis or St. Paul for better quality and more professional healthcare.
