I drove into T&D interiors, my first trip to Lima, OH. I spoke with Joel, and we went over our options. I originally was going to get tile... I love tile floors. There was a problem, though, tile is cold. Ohio is frigid. Yeah that wouldn't have worked because heated tile is a bit too expensive for my budget. I don't like hardwood floors because it's easily damaged/scratched and needs a lot of maintenance. I was looking at just simple vinyl floor when he recommends luxury vinyl plank. It's scratch resistant and water proof. Sold! He showed me different colors and styles and I picked one that was grayish brown in color. Had him do my entire house. It wasn't cheap, but the end it looks amazing! I love my new floors. They originally gave me an estimate of 10 days to perform the labor, they did it in 7. Awesome! Our family has used Lima Flooring for other homes and rentals over the years and we'll never use them again!! Don't be fooled by them sending an "independent" representative to inspect, he is anything but "independent"!! Very disappointed. Poor customer service and the length of time it took them to respond to initial concern was unacceptable. Now we are stuck with a less than perfect floor and out thousands and thousands of dollars between product and labor. Poor word of mouth and poor customer service will affect Lima Flooring's bottom line!!!
