Century 21 Property Management

Century 21 Property Management

I went to tour a property out in Ellensburg. I called and they scheduled me last minute, which was…read moreappreciated! The person giving me the tour was late, but communicated that to me - and since he squeezed me in last minute, I had no complaints. When touring the property, he asked my budget and what I was looking for in a living situation. I explained, and he asked if he could show me one more property that would fit my "wants" in a house. I said yes, and he showed me another property that fit what I was looking for. So far, I've only had good experiences with Century 21 Property Management.

Living at a Century 21 property has felt like the ultimate bait and switch. Initially, it was truly…read morea saving grace being able to rent with them after a challenging 2025. There were a few minor maintenance issues when I moved in, but putting in a request got them resolved quickly and communicatively. Fast forward 8 months and I hate that I felt so lulled into trusting them, when at the end of the day they are just another company that's main goal is profit. First of all, my apartment had an ant infestation at the end of April that, despite STILL having an open maintenance request (submitted May 4th) has never to my knowledge actually been dealt with by them (I had to buy the traps and spray and take care of it myself). Second, one of the draws of my apartment--a large balcony, is essentially unusable now that the weather has warmed up because the number of bees in/on/around it all day literally puts my life at risk as someone deathly allergic to them. There was even a hive forming on the overhang of the roof. And worst of all, if anything comes up that may require you to break your lease early--be aware that on top of the fees to break the lease, you'll still be required to essentially pay monthly rent for the remainder of the time on the lease until they can get around to renting your place again. My single, disabled mom's health is not doing well and I need to break my lease 2.5 months early in order to move closer to her. After clarifying what the cost would be to break the lease, and not getting a reply until almost a week after I followed up, I was floored that no amount of trying to communicate proactively with them about a payment plan, was even remotely going to be considered as an option. The stupidest thing is that I'm not even trying to get out of paying them the full amount of money (despite the absolute predatory nature of that policy in general), I'm just also not able to afford rent at two apartments right now, but the lack of ability to even work with a person is honestly disgusting. And what's more, the inability for the property manager to even acknowledge the reality of the overwhelming, emotional, real life human struggles that I'm facing, outside of just a vague one-liner at the end of the communication about me needing to "weigh my options to make the best decision" is cowardice and would have been better not to be said at all. I get that at the end of the day, all that matters to property management companies is money. However, the fact that Century 21 CLEARLY owns SO many properties in just Ellensburg alone, adds to how disheartening it is that they're treating it as if ending a lease with two months to spare will bankrupt them if they don't get that money at the immediate moment they expect it. They'll welcome you understandingly, and with kindness and flexibility, especially if you're coming to them at a time of desperation. But they also have zero interest in seeing you as anything more than a rent check once they've gotten you.

Accolade Property Management - The Awesome "A" Team

Accolade Property Management

I am leaving this review after exhausting all reasonable attempts to resolve matters privately…read more My experience with Accolade Property Company was marked by consistent deflection of responsibility, a lack of good-faith engagement, and a pattern of minimizing serious tenant concerns rather than addressing them. At no point was I disruptive, unreasonable, or unwilling to cooperate. I documented everything carefully and communicated clearly. Despite this, Accolade repeatedly reframed legitimate issues as personal problems rather than property-management responsibilities. When financial and disability-related hardship became unavoidable, their response was not accommodation, problem-solving, or even neutral professionalism--but distance, delay, and dismissal. What concerns me most is not a single disagreement, but a pattern: Legitimate complaints are reframed as tenant "issues" Accountability is avoided through technicalities Empathy and discretion are notably absent Tenants are left carrying consequences that management helped create or worsen I am aware that some negative reviewers are possibly portrayed as unreliable or "mentally unwell." I want to be very clear: this review is based on documented interactions, timelines, and outcomes--not emotion. Anyone reading reviews should pay attention to how often serious concerns are dismissed rather than answered. If you are a tenant dealing with financial strain, disability, or any situation requiring fair-minded property management, I strongly recommend proceeding with caution and keeping meticulous records.

He took over for our original landlord (from a different company) and completely turned around what had previously been an unhappy situation. He was incredibly professional, helpful, and honest and he was easy to contact whenever we had an issue. Jim also was incredibly friendly and fun to chat with and always willing to work with us when a problem arose (such as a room mate leaving mid lease.) Libenow Property Management does an excellent job of maintaining that important landlord-tenant relationship, which helps so much with the stress of renting. Awesome company and a wonderful landlord.

There were many times I couldn't get paid as a property owner for rent or find out important financial information if he was out of town. I couldn't get call-backs when he was out. That excuse was given multiple times. There were problems with the renter several times. At one point when I expressed my concern about the cost of dealing with her, wanting to brainstorm with Jim, the owner, he attacked me on the phone for 20 minutes. He didn't try to collaborate. He just attacked me. I was crying. While being attacked, crying and trying to defend myself, he told me he didn't feel safe. I couldn't believe it. He is a bully. Someone who attacks and then claims victim. Among his staff, Alex is always professional as is Estelle, though she was very hard to reach. Alex did what he said he would.
