Little did I know that I would be connected to THE PERFECT realtor. Tonya listened to my needs, wants, must haves and ran with it. My experience with Marty…read moreWright Home Sales for a new manufactured home has been a nightmare from start to still not finished. We paid the down payment for the purchase of our home in September 2024, since the closing was pushed several times--first in October, then after Christmas, in February, and again in April. WE CLOSED MAY 2025!! Then the delivery and setup were plagued by incompetence and delays, and from the home we have seen so far, the quality of the product is a serious disappointment for the purchase price. First, the original promised completion date was pushed back by more than three months with no clear communication. Our sales representative, Victor/Destiny, repeatedly gave us false timelines, and it was nearly impossible to get a straight answer on our home's status. Then we were transferred from Lumberton sales to Chadbourn sales due to the sales representative Destiny changing positions to Chadbourn, which has not gotten better because Destiny quit, and now we're still in limbo a year later. If all of this isn't bad enough that their product doesn't meet their promise of quality, the manufacturer, Sunshine, has failed to hold their responsibility to complete construction. Their excuse... their construction crew is comprised of Hispanics to complete the interior and siding of the home. The Hispanics are afraid to come to NC due to ICE and therefore can't complete construction of our home. Their employee issues are not the buyer's problem!!! TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMPLOYEE ISSUES!!! Although it has been delivered, it still sits there empty and incomplete. This buying experience has truly been a nightmare from start to still not finished. And we haven't even made it to the punch list. I can't imagine the support being much better than the service we've received to this point. If I had it all to do over, I would never have chosen Marty Wright. They talk a good game but don't follow up! Marty Wright has not offered any compensation of good will to this point... only to say YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXTRA COST INCURRED!!! THEIR FAULT OR NOT... IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE A SMOOTH BUYING TRANSITION! THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED!!!! YES, I WILL UPDATE THIS POST TO SHARE THE ENDING OF THIS BUYING EXPERIENCE NIGHTMARE!!!!
