My experience with Century21 Eagle Cap Realty has been similarly "disappointing". I contacted them regarding a property that I found myself and wanted some information about. Basically, they would earn an ~$10,000 commission for simply answering a few questions, acting as a Buyer's agent and handling the paperwork. I had already done the work of finding the property I wanted to buy! So I guess I am not even worthy of an actual Real Estate agent.... my inquiry was assigned to Steph Allen who is a Licensed Assistant Ms Allen responded by sending me a link to the MLS listing and did not respond to any of my questions. After a few days I asked the same questions again and was told: "Attached is information on the property. (the same MLS listing she sent a few days earlier). Under features, states what is included. (unresponsive to my detailed question) Older couple, downsizing.(the owner is listed as an LLC which seems odd to me) Problems or liens will show in an inspection and title report. (so I have to pay for an inspection and title report to find out whether I want to make an offer on the place?!!?!)" Needless to say, "lazy", "disinterested" and "unresponsive" doesn't even begin to describe this "agency". They only have the time to dash off a dozen word response to my questions and I have to inquire multiple times to get a response? Pretty miserable performance. I'd advise looking elsewhere for an agency to handle your $200,00+/- transaction.

I have owed 5 homes in my lifetime, believe me when I write about her that she is the best. If you are a practicing Christian you can trust her. Not like some of the people in our area who are deceiving and caring only for their own profit no matter the cost. She offers you any hour weekday or weekend it does not matter to her. I say give her a call when you are ready to search for your one and only home. You will not regret it. I am Christian and she worked very hard for me, despite the others around her that claim to be so good.

It was common to be overcharged and mischarged for things that they hoped you wouldn't notice. And when I requested proof of residency paperwork so that I could move into a new apartment, this manager denied that her fax machines were working until I physically placed my cell phone in her hand so that my new landlord could walk her through the steps--at which point the machine magically started working again so that she could kick me out of the office. Since EOU students will often have very little choice but to deal with this company: stay smart, stay stubborn.

The maintenance is kind and attentive, with quick easy fixes. They never come calling unless there is a big issue, or if you ask them to. They don't require renter's insurance unlike other places, so it's good for college students. Many of their rentals have most, if not all utilities included in the rent sum.

Have empathy with the staff but it does not resolve significant issues with clients like myself with a lack of communication and follow through. EOT has become the only title company in this small community and has acquired other title companies in an adjoining city to wit, the only game in town. This, and nearly doubling their costs in 2016, make a good opportunity for competition. This was my seventh and last transaction with this company, the worst and most expensive.
