Great spot for secondhand glassware, trinkets and kitchenware. Loved the extent of options and felt the prices were reasonable.

Great place to shop and staff are very friendly and kind. The clothing is always $1.00 and pricing is very reasonable.

Kind of junkie, funky cluttered and disorganized shop, but good prices and the proceeds go to help animals so that's good! The prices go down from time to time and they have colored stickers to indicate discounts. They not only carry pet items, but kitchenware, some furniture, decor, holiday items, dishes, faux floral bouquets, books, etc. I did find a teapot without a lid that I used for a vase. The ladies who worked there were chatting away and basically ignoring us when we went to make our purchase, so we just stood there til they were done. It was pretty "ruff"! read more

Some have said that their prices are high, but for what I purchased I thought the opposite. I bought 4 complete seasons of a show for $2 each. Goodwill charges $5 for complete seasons. Their selection of glassware, frames, CD's, and DVD's are really good for a smaller place like this! They even have a scrapbooking section with scrapbooks, pages, and crafts. I will definitely be coming back to this place often over Goodwill! read more

A great second hand thrift store where proceeds go directly to benefit a local animal sanctuary. I try to support them with donations and shopping when I can. Far more beneficial in the goodness they do than the for-profit goodwill second hand stores! Several times I've found great treasures here. Definitely worth a look see :) read more

I love this place because it helps I think disabled animals every time you buy something and they have a lot to look at.One thing that I'm sad and disappointed a little about is that they don't have enn y fluffy cats in the little room ennymore.But I like how you can paint an picture and put it in an phrase and then give it away to rikkis is and that your artwork can help donate money to rikis.I am honored to be able to say that I actually visited the rufugge in Orange county with the REACH PROGRAM while I was still technology an high school student.We went there and dropped good off and they used to have a lot of guineapigs .I saw dogs and pigs and cats and chickens I think and I saw an bountiful peacock and I saw rosters I think.but anyways the store is great too read more

I love this thrift store. First, and foremost, you know where their money is going. It supports an Animal Refuge here in our area: Ricki's Refuge. They help animals! I donate all of my stuff here. They want to get a good price for expensive items and they have to move items, when they don't sell. I get that. Prices can seem high, on some stuff, but only on quality items. I bought Lenox China here super cheap, compared to any other thrift store. Their selection is amazing. My sister only wants to shop here when she visits. She has purchased several pieces of quality clothing here. I've lost track of all the beautiful things I purchased here. The staff is super friendly. They have clean restrooms, dress rooms for trying on clothing, plenty of parking. Make sure you check out their Facebook page for super sale Days. Sometimes everything in the store is 50% off. This is, quite literally, the most disgusting thrift store I have ever been in. First off, the stench of urine permeates the entire place and nearly knocks you over as you walk through the doors. Secondly, the entire place is filled with - literally - junk. I did not find one single item that I actually thought was pretty or useful. The clothing selection is atrocious. I use thrift stores primarily for clothes, and if that's what you're looking for, this is not the place for you.They had exactly 5 skirts in size medium. They had about as many tops. But their non-clothing section is just as bad, filled with stupid trinkets like other people's trophies and broken Christmas decor (in the middle of March!). The only good thing I can think to say is that they had a sale on shoes for only one dollar a pair; however, their selection was terrible, and most of the shoes were very battered and worn. I will never set foot in this disgusting hell hole again. I am simply flabbergasted that anyone would post a positive review of such a trashy, useless, vomit-inducing environment. Re- Tail seems like it could be a gem...but a few things need tweaking. First, I don't know who is pricing most of this stinky crap anyway (possibly Sharon) but the prices are rediciously high for what it really is- do some research to even assess if something has value and pric it accordingly. Secondly, only haivng one employee on the weekend is a little slow for someone who wants to see something in the case (it's actually aggravating as all get out and I quickly lose momentum during the wait!). read more

I love Re-Tail! Their inventory changes daily, they constantly have sales & promotions, and most importantly of all- nearly 100% of their profit goes directly to the support of animals in need. I love animals and have great respect for all of the volunteers and employees at Re-Tail for dedicating their time to help rescue local animals. We need more shops like Re-Tail! read more

We visited Re-Tail today, for the second time. They have a little bit of everything. As another Yelper said, they do have a seasonal section. They have a good selection of glassware, books, cd's, art, and clothing. They have a lot of pet-related knick knacks, etc. They have a fair amount of furniture. I found two lightweight blazer-type things that I just love. One was $4 and the other was $4.50. Normally this wouldn't be a bargain to me, but I absolutely love them. They have some drapes, high quality shoes, and a nice little selection of craft supplies - I found two Girl Scout pin/badge items, that I was very happy with. They have a little section for pretty much everything. I found two plant pots I was very happy with in that section. Definitely give this shop a visit, if you're in the area. read more

This store is full of fun items and has a good variety of pet items. I've seen some reviews here that think the items are too expensive, I've not found that to be the case. My only complaint is that the store is sort of dark and that makes it feel less pleasant and it's harder to spot the good finds when the lighting is so dim. But I love that my donations/purchases are going to help animals so I keep coming back! read more

03/21/2015 I don't really come here anymore on my regular thrifting excursions. The prices are higher, a lot of the furniture is priced ridiculously high (like antique store prices, crazy Ebay and Etsy prices) but in poor condition. They have a lot of stuff that has been there since they opened, which should tell the employees: "time to lower the price." The store is no longer new and now feels dirty and overpacked. When the shop first opened, this store seemed more selective and had quality, good condition pieces with prices that had me coming back. _____ 1/29/2014: I'm torn about writing a review for the newly opened Re-Tail thrift store located in what used to be Lacy's Home Center. I could hope to keep this place off Yelp for as long as possible and away from competitor shoppers or help out a great cause..... morals win. I love animals and I'm happy my shopping can help out this organization. I've gone there twice and and both times I've found lots of awesome stuff for great prices. I enjoy visiting thrift stores, but Goodwill and the Salvation army are charging too much for used merchandise that is often damaged or stuff from the dollar store or Ikea for x3 what they originally cost, despite damage!!! The items at this Re-Tail shop are in great condition, they'e selling interesting things and random stuff. The place is displayed nicely, it's not overwhelming, and the employees are friendly and excited to be there. I'm in the process of buying my first home and there are all kinds of random things I have on my shopping list... but I'm on a low budget. I've found lots of great stuff on my list! Dish-ware, realistic fake flowers - similar styles sell for $15 new at Marshalls cost just $1 here! (I think that's a great price for a thrift store!), they also have furniture, tile samples to turn into cup coasters or pot holders, a spice rack I've seen on Etsy for $25 was $3! Etc. Etc. Etc. I cannot say enough good things about this thrift shop, but I'll try to keep it brief. They have all sorts of awesome items like furniture, dishes, clothing, shoes, framed pictures, movies, cds, toys, stuffed animals and books. I love their book collection! They run a great facebook page too that alerts you to cool new items and they have seasonal stuff too, like loads of baskets during Easter. You are guaranteed to find some rare gems here and the prices are more than fair! On top of that, I know my money is going to a good cause--Rikki's Refuge. They also have a booth they rotate monthly that is sponsored by other local rescues like Bully Paws and the local SPCA and proceeds from items purchased out of that booth go towards the sponsoring rescue. They also hold raffles! There's a plethora of used pet supplies too! PLEASE, if you've got items to donate, stop here before Goodwill or Salvation Army! Also, the employees are very friendly and helpful and this may not matter to some people, but the restroom is very clean. OH and they have cats that chill during the day in the shop! read more

I love this thrift store! They are super nice and the things you find there are really thrift store prices and not like you could just go to a regular store and buy for brand new. You find ALOT of Animal items, kids toys, furniture, clothes, and house items. Retail is really one of my top thrift stores to go to in Fredericksburg, Va! You should definitely go if you love Thrift shopping. OH! Also they have cats in there you can adopt. read more
