I am working to ensure no one else's child has to suffer from the neglect they could receive at Light House Autism Center (Caselton location) My educated opinion is the assistant director Rachel & the director Bryn Nicholas lack the compassion and honesty needed when your child is injured under their management. Please, please do better research of this facility than I did to ensure your child is properly cared for! If your child is currently a learner there, I caution their parents to make sure their child is not being mistreated. Also, if you have a small child I recommend you don't have them attend their due to the safety of the equipment and playing areas! My child fell off a swing while under his one-on-one caregiver supervision, hit his head on a wooden beam (that does not any padding) and I received a call from the assistant director (Rachel) informing me, my son fell when he was walking. Later to learn in the incident report that he actually fell and hit his head on a UNPADDED wooden beam (in an autism center) Since my non verbal son could not tell me how he felt or how he had a huge knot & was badly bruise, I had to spend the evening in the emergency room.....having X-rays, concussion test done & talking with insurance! Do better Light House before someone child Dies or is severely injured!

I loved my dentist in California and so I took my time finding a dentist in Bloomington. (plus I just didn't want to go) Dr Arnold's reviews were glowing, and even though my partner has a different dentist here in B-town, I decided to try Dr Arnold based on Yelp reviews. The office is a bit hard to find if you aren't familiar with the Eastside of town. It is sort of behind the now-closed Marsh store, in a mini mall next to a dance studio and a waxing salon. Plenty of parking in the lot. Courtney was my hygienist today and she was wonderful. She listened to my ramblings about how much I hate the dentist. She was mellow and I felt like she gave my teeth a very thorough cleaning. She was just the right combination of quiet and talkative during the cleaning. (my hygienist in California was very chatty and it's hard to answer questions with sharp instruments in your mouth). There is a tv on the ceiling so you can watch while you have your cleaning. Courtney caught on fast that the show on the History channel was about mass murderers (not a very calming show) and she switched the channel to ESPN for me. Next Dr Arnold (Bill) came in and introduced himself. He was great. Very down to earth and approachable. We chatted a bit about California and then he began his exam. Again, great exam and he gave me advice about some tooth sensitivity I have been experiencing. Next appointment is six months from now and even though I will still be freaked out, I won't be AS freaked out. Definitely recommend. If you have been putting off a dental exam, go see Dr Arnold.

They did tell me that I could wait an hour because the hygienist had a patient at 12:30, which was supposed to be me. Prior to this, I had billing problems with them. One time they didn't bill my insurance. When questioned, they said it was because the image of the card I sent them was blurry. Instead of telling me that it was blurry and asking me to send a new one, they just didn't bill insurance and kept sending me bills. ??? I sent a new clearer image to the 2-to-3 different phone numbers they told me to text it to and I guess one of them finally worked and they billed insurance. Then they told me there was a balance still due so I called and the woman, and over the phone she said the remaining balance was $23 so I paid it. Two days later I got a bill for $44. It's just these weird expenses and a very disorganized scheduling and building system. Today the woman at the front desk, even though I was clearly upset when I left shouted "have a nice day!" after me in a passive aggressive way. The hygienist I had was good but the billing and front desk staff are unacceptably bad. I'm happy to be moving.

She explained everything she was doing. She then gave me a really excellent cleaning. I honestly felt like the first REAL cleaning my teeth had since moving to Bloomington (even though I just had one at my other dentist's office four months ago). Dr. Shirley examined my teeth and talked to me about a filling that I have lost recently. He was friendly, explained everything that would be done when they replace the filling and spent a good amount of time with me, answering all my questions. Andrea explained the cost of the upcoming filling procedure so that there will not be any surprises when I return. Large office, plenty of parking. A bit weird getting in and out of the lot due to road work but that should be completed soon. All in all, a really great experience and I am one of those people who really HATES going to the dentist. Now I just need to call and cancel my cleaning appointment at my former dentist's office, because Bloomington Family Dental has won me over. I am an avid Yelp user and the negative reviews of BFD had kept me away. Regardless, don't let the negative reviews sway you. If you are looking for a Bloomington dental office that is modern, friendly and thorough, I highly recommend this office.

The last straw was when at a visit I told him I had been waking up in the morning with a tense jaw and was afraid that I had developed night time grinding and asked for recommendations on how to manage it. He rolled his eyes and said, "just stop". Not exactly the most helpful suggestion for managing an involuntary activity when you're asleep. I switched dentists and discovered that I have a misalignment contributing to night time bruxism which was treated with a bite guard and adjustment.

I enjoy all of the great programs from Reach high Consulting & Therapy. The team is like family! they really care about getting the kids use to being out in public as well as well as pushing therapy!! I have had the pleasure of visiting the office on many occasions and witnessed groups of toddlers reciting countries, potty training, speech therapy. Some of the kids are being directed to points where they are able to enter into school on a part time bases. Just think, this could also be your child!! I had the pleasure of talking with one young lady who went through Reach High who learned great things there, so much so that she was able to go to college and live on her own. This is not to say that all of the children will make it to this point, it is to say that Reach High cares and loves to include the families so that the education does not stop in the walls of Reach High Consulting. Reach High Team's up with the families because when your child succeeds, they also Succeed!! I love Reach High because their kids learn to reach higher!! The team pushes them to do their best and praise them because they are achievers!! read more

If you're looking for a full time job don't work here, they will always call you late and tell you that they don't need you 15 minutes before your supposed to be there. The center is filthy and toys are not sanitized upon play, every toy is broken as well. Employees are not treated with respect and are expected to juggle the majority of tasks while management sits back and relaxes. The judgment of you as an employee is based upon whether or not you are compliant. This is not ABA therapy this is a place teaching children to be completely compliant, Almost seems like the place is just worried about money and not worried about the children's well being. I have personally experienced the children being treated as if they are science experiments and not just children with autism etc. I saw PCM used in an unethical way during my first week of employment, I have been sick on and off for months due to the lack of sanitation from this place, as well as the kids. I'm not very prone to sickness so this seemed very evident to me and my coworkers who were all getting sick as well. Overall just not a great place. read more

My son attend Reach High Consulting full time for almost seven years, from the age of 4 to 10. I highly recommend RHC and cannot say enough wonderful words to describe them. They literally changed our lives! They work with you, to help your child at home as well as at the center. There is very much a team approach with staff, child and family in making a plan for your child. They encourage, motivate, and empower your child to be the BEST they can be. They became our second family. They are professional and you get the most amazing care possible. They have exceeded my expectations in preparing my son for elementary school. He is thriving in his first year attending school full time and I truly believe it was only made possible because of RHC! read more

My child has received ABA therapy services from Reach High for the past 15 years. During that time, we've seen the clinic grow from a summer camp program in a temporary location to a full year program that integrates some of our child's waiver services. Even after all these years, I still vividly remember the day I met the director. She was the first person who truly understood my child and connected immediately. With the help of RHC staff, my child has learned to communicate, manage his behavior, cope with change, make friends, and have fun. I appreciate their steady partnership. Reach High Consulting is a very good center for kids in the autism spectrum. My child goes there and she does very well. Audra Lampkins knows her stuff and so does her therapists and staff. Public schools were not very good for her so I had to go elsewhere. Since finding and enrolling in Reach High Consulting, I see the improvements every day. Plus she enjoys going to school again!! read more

No bike rack but there's a sign on Landmark with posts which is difficult to hook onto but the only option available in the area.
