It was listed for 80,000 when I looked at it Duke told me that someone was bidding on it and if I didn't go all in I was going to lose out. I ended up paying the full asking price. I found out from the listing agent that three people backed out after learning how expensive it would be to bring this house up to code. The highest of the three accepted offers was 62,000. The offer was accepted and then rescinded when they realized the extent of the repairs. Additionally the house was on the market for months. The listing agent even apologized to me. I now have a 80,000 house plus over 40,000 in repairs that is in a lousy area of Jamestown. Yes, buyer beware! Do your homework. This has been a very expensive mistake. John Cacciotti
