Our property is in the Chapel Hill area but we live in another state. It was particularly important for us to work with an agent who uses the Web effectively for marketing and who uses email, text, phone, and electronic documents to keep in touch throughout the process. Jodi emailed an excellent presentation packet when I first contacted her, a big factor in our choosing her over the other three agents I approached. In the packet, she emphasized communication and feedback, so we could tell she realized these would be important to us as clients. Jodi far exceeded our hopes and expectations. If you read my other reviews, you will recognize that I am pretty serious when it comes to either a positive or negative review. To be fair, I did not sign on a rental that I found through Team Jodi, however I was working with them in the process. While in the end they are receiving no money, directly or indirectly, from me, they deserve it. Contrary to other property management groups that I've interacted with (or tried to interact with), Team Jodi is proactive in communication. My agent called me and made sure to take time to discuss exactly what my needs and wants were in finding a rental. He was always quick to respond to missed calls or emails. Real estate agents are busy people, and I recognize that, but I received consistently positive service in my work with Team Jodi. I would certainly recommend working with Team Jodi in your real estate needs. I don't think there is a huge talent or knowledge gap between any of these companies around the Triangle, but the service makes all the difference in taking stress off of you and making your life easier, which is exactly the point of working with a management company in the first place!
