Calls often go unanswered. When you do try to call, no one answers, or you are left on hold for hours sometimes up to two hours only for someone to finally pick up and then hang up the call. It is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful of people's time. Even when you manage to speak with someone, it quickly becomes clear that no one in the office is actually able or willing to resolve the issue. You are passed around or left without any real solution. What is even more concerning is that this company withdrew an association payment directly from my bank account without my authorization. I do not have automatic payments set up, and the payment was not even close to being due. There is absolutely no justification for taking money from someone's account under these circumstances. This is a serious breach of trust and raises major concerns about how they handle residents' financial information. the staff shows little to no empathy or professionalism when addressing concerns. Instead of feeling supported as a resident, I feel ignored, disrespected, and taken advantage of. They behave inappropriately and unprofessionally and become hostile at every meeting. We have been advised to simply thank them for their input and gently move on. Hearing about Civility Codes for meetings and whenever in common areas is brilliant. It just so happens that we are in the process of updating the Condo Rules & Regulations and will be discussing it with the other board members. The questions that the attendees asked were thoroughly answered by the Speaker during the webinar. Under FL State rules, board members must take a course each year. Acting on this company's unprofessional advice, two members of the Board of Directors carried out repairs without obtaining the necessary permits from the City of Sweetwater or licenses from the DBPR and with the Department of Health shut down the pool due to unauthorized modifications previously. With three violations on record, Excel Management has committed numerous negligent errors at our complex; it is highly probable that they will face lawsuits so that we may recover the Association's funds--especially given that the fines imposed by the DBPR will have to be paid by the directors involved. I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. Not a single apology or acknowledgement from the property manager or any of the admins working here. Once again our ac units were out in the hallways and I emailed a month after we were told they would be fixed and asked for updates and warned once again mold would start growing if this wasn't addressed. No response from management. I emailed maintenance in July about an update, no response. I emailed again in August because MOLD was now covering the hallways, STILL NO RESPONSE. I emailed customer care, no response from them. I've been emailing and calling Jacquelyn Salazar, the district manager, and left a voicemail and no response from her either. This is a terrible property management company and I would implore anyone to avoid any building being managed by them.

I called about a condo listed with Real Property and the guys there made it their business to make it as easy as possible from the time I called them, through the application process, and dealing with the homeowners association. They continue to be helpful even after we moved in when we had a minor issue with a leaky sink. We can make service requests and pay our rent online and it seems like there's always someone available to help. I think this should be the standard when renting a place. Thanks!
