We were written up by our HOA and needed to get our lawn healthy fast. Our sister-in-law pointed us to Real Turf. They took the time to analyze the families of grass along with the cultivars that were in our lawn -- it turns out the builder used shade cultivars in sunny spots and our lawn had at least 2 different families of grass. We had some disease and tons of thatching. The time of year wasn't right to attempt dethatching, but they built a treatment plan to get things healthy. They promised things would look much better within 30-45 days, and in reality within 2 weeks there was a noticeable difference! I have been a customer of Real Turf Solutions for many years, but unfortunately, my experience with the company recently has become extremely frustrating. At some point over the past several months, the office hours apparently changed, and the office now closes at 2:30 PM. The problem is that there is no recording on the phone line letting customers know that the office is closed. You can sit there waiting and waiting, wondering why no one is answering. I only found out about the 2:30 closing time because I literally had to search for the business online and look at the hours listed on the website. Customers should not have to do that just to find out whether someone is available to answer the phone. People work during the day. Closing customer service at 2:30 PM makes it extremely difficult for customers to reach someone when they actually need assistance. On top of that, the automated system they now have for making payments does not work properly, which makes the situation even more frustrating. After being a loyal customer for years, I'm honestly asking: Where is the customer service? I need to be able to speak with a live person when I have an issue, not sit on the phone with no explanation or rely on an automated system that doesn't work. This has become such an inconvenience that I am seriously considering canceling my service and taking my business elsewhere. I have supported this company for many years, but customer service matters, and right now I am extremely disappointed. I hope Real Turf Solutions takes this feedback seriously and considers providing customers with reasonable office hours, a clear after-hours message, and a working way to reach a live representative. read more

I am extremely disappointed with Real Turf Solutions. Their technician came to the wrong address and sprayed our property anyway. The problem is that the area they sprayed contains edible plants that we eat and also grow to sell. Spraying chemicals on the wrong property, particularly where food crops are being grown, is a serious mistake. We should never have had to worry about whether plants we consume or sell had been exposed to a product that was not intended for our property. This was not simply a minor address mix up. It involved the application of a lawn treatment to the wrong property and potentially contaminated edible plants. I strongly recommend that anyone using this company make absolutely certain that the technician has correctly identified the property before any products are applied. read more

Real turf is the worst. They ruined our previously PERFECT lawn this year - ignoring issues, after we had paid them monthly for lawn service for almost 3 years. We drew their attention to the issue multiple times while it was small this year - and they claimed they understood what was happening, and were treating it. They are liars and ignorant. Or they intentionally did this. As I predicted and told real turf months back - now our neighbors are now extremely angry. The HOA is going to put a lien on our home if it isn't sodded and fixed immediately. Once we sod and replace, we'll be forced to move, just because our neighbors now want nothing to do with us. In Florida you pay monthly, because you are required to keep your lawn proper. Real turf ignored our pleas for 6 months as the damage and disease simply worsened. While they claimed it would improve in 60 days. And now we're forced to eventually move someday soon, because we can't live somewhere where the neighbors now hate us I hope everyone sees this review of this swindling dirty lousy company read more

New to Fl. Have St Augustine grass. Called d/t dead/brown spots. They sent someone out for treatment 1 and said 30 min water 2x week and to give it time. 3 weeks in, grass is all brown and dead. They came out and we had visit #2. "Mike" said they treated based off the package I bought. How Am I supposed to know what package to buy? They turned fault on me. We used Real Turf Solutions over a year ago. At first they did a good job and then just as quickly, they did an awful job, so we canceled the service. Almost a year after we canceled service they claimed we owed them money. I explained that we thought we were paid off and since we had never received any notifications otherwise, we believed they also thought we were paid off. Additionally, there was no way to go back and confirm when the last treatment was to match up to our records. They also could not prove that we owed the money. Given all this, they STILL sent us to collections. I still do not believe we owe the money but I am being extorted into paying because they have reported to credit agencies. Real Turf Solutions new lawn mowing service is awful. I'm assuming they hired young individuals that don't really know how to take care of a lawn. I tried them for 3 months to mow, trim, and edge the lawn and trim bushes. I pay extra for bushes and they haven't trimmed the bushes in the back yard yet, even though I sent two messages to the supervisor. Additionally, today's cut is awful. Apparently the deck on the mower is out of alignment. There are several places my yard is scalped; and there are small patches that didn't get mowed. Also, all of the previous companies I've used made sure the grass by the fence posts were trimmed. Now I have grass a foot tall along the fence posts. I never had to call my previous service once. The slight savings isn't worth the hassle. read more

First they applied wrong chemicals. I had clovers blooming. When I called and asked what was going on? Nothing happened. I called a second time. T hey had someone come out, he told me the the employee was new. He was sorry. They treated the weeds that day. The supervisor was supposed to follow up in two weeks. At two weeks I get a notification that they would be out to treat. No one showed up. I called to see what was going on. Oh yeah, they did not complete the service. Well may I speak with the supervisor again. No mam, he's on vacation. I canceled my $132 monthly bill and found another service. Terrible!​ read more

I had Real Turf Solutions take care of my yard for the past 8 years. Was paying $60 to have it sprayed and my lawn looked great. Until about an year ago when they got bought out and I started having all kinds of issues with my grass. They told me that I needed aeration, so I switched to the $85 monthly service hoping this will take care of the issues. They came back and did nothing extra, just sprayed chemicals and told me that I needed extra services as my lawn was diseased. It was never diseased before! I called them to cancel my services as my grass is now in worst shape it has ever been. I had a different company come to look at my lawn and he was horrified by the way my grass looks. I now have to pay extra to bring my grass back from the dead. I called Real Turf Solutions and asked to show good faith and at least not charge for my last service since it killed my grass. Sure enough, they just charged my card $85 today. This company was great, now it is terrible! just ripping people off and delivering poor service! Ugh... read more

This company called me today on the phone because I was a past customer and wanted to know how they could gain my business again. I think the sales guy name was Raul. I was in the middle of politely explaining why I did not need the service and the sales guy hung up on me. I wasn't being rude, condescending etc which I am sure as someone who makes sales calls is typically used to. I own a property management business and before I could explain that maybe other customers could use the service instead this unprofessional sales guy intentionally hangs up on me. I called back inquiring if he hung up on me and to discuss the other properties and this guy starts defending his actions and said "sounds like you weren't interested so I hung up" instead of apologizing. I gave it a one star only because you cannot do no stars. When I hired this company, my lawn looked beautiful and I was just trying to find someone to keep it that way. At first, they seemed to be a great company, and everything was going well. And then my lawn started to go south. I started getting huge, dead spots, and when I would tell them they kept making excuses about why it was happening. That it was pool drainage, which it was not, or it that I needed to put sand down over the area so the grass would grow back in, and the excuses went on and on but my lawn kept getting worse. Finally, I wanted to cancel my service, but I let the person who answers the phone talk me into waiting for a manager to come out, look at my lawn and talk with me. The first time the manager came out and didn't even let me know they were there. They treated an area of my yard that I keep for my chickens to free range, that's was not supposed to be treated. The manager never spoke with me until after I contacted him because I saw the sign that my yard had been treated and they gave me a bill. I explained that they were supposed to talk to me and walk around with me and tell me what they were suggesting, not come out when I wasn't aware and treat it. The treatment did not work. And I kept losing my lawn more and more in different areas. I tried once again to cancel and the girl again talked me into letting the manager, come out one more time. I made it clear that he was not to come out and treat without talking to me. But this time it was two weeks before I finally gave up and told them I did not want them to service my lawn any longer. He never came back out. All this time that was going by my lawn, was getting worse and more and more areas were dying. My lawn is floratam grass that I spent money on a couple of years ago, and so I literally was sick to my stomach, that it was dying because I can no longer afford to resod my yard. The last treatment they did, I was not around when they did it. And I did not know they were coming. So I told them I was not going to pay for it, but they keep billing me, and now they have sent me to collections for $60.00 dollars. I have excellent credit because I pay my bills, but this company is trying to take advantage of me. I am a sixty five year old single woman and I have asked them many times to please take this off of the record and not charge me for something that not only did I not authorize, but it didn't do any good. They might as well poured acid on my lawn for how bad it looked. I will attach pictures here if I can to show you how horrible my lawn was looking. Please do not use this company. They will deceive you and then charge you. They're not an honest company that cares about their service. All they're doing is putting something on your lawn and charging you for it. read more

I wouldn't use this company. When it was actually real turf solutions, the invoice was left at my door each service and paid immediately. It is now owned by your green team. They emailed two months worth of invoices to the wrong email address then sent it to, a collection agency and stopped my service without ever even calling me to ensure the invoices were received. I don't even know where to begin to start. The actual audacity of this company. We had been using them for years and were very pleased in the beginning. Over time our lawn slowly started getting worse and worse and I would call and they were very customer service friendly. They would come out and treat but as time went on they would come out and say there's nothing they can do as all different kinds of weeds ran rampant. We eventually asked to cancel and both parties agreed to cancel over the phone. They still came out and treated the following month and billed us. We called and stated our decision to still cancel. Brant told us to that we wouldn't have to pay our bill for that month. We still received an invoice and obviously didn't pay it because I believed what he said. 9 months later I get a debt collections for the last treatment. Never once notified or called that they were going to send us to collections and trying to collect a payment. We called today to try to resolve and said they don't recall this and to kick rocks. I wouldn't refer this company to my worst enemy. They killed our grass and when we tried to be good people and not leave bad reviews and ruin someone's reputation and it backfired. Do not hire this company, they will kill your grass and give you any excuse why it's not their fault. They cannot control the weeds and when you ask them about it they will tell you to pull them by hand. One of their technicians sprayed my yard with a weed killer and it killed the sod not the weeds and then refused to take responsibility for it. Worst customer service ever. Been with RTS for almost a year now. Our grass had been brown and thatched when we moved in, and I tried all of the self help diy stuff to fix it. None worked. These guys were recommended by one of our neighbors whose lawn was thick and green. One of the the best recommendations we've gotten.
