In addition, both shared a medicinal "cough syrup" background flavor and caused an immediate blood sugar spike in a sugar-sensitive family member who routinely consumes genuine raw honey safely. My family eats raw honey straight and unmixed daily - and I have consumed mostly dark crystallized varietals like buckwheat for over 40 years - making us highly attuned to atypical textures and glycemic profiles. I appreciate that the seller promptly accepted a return and processed a full refund, although I covered return shipping. One can also order online and pay a modest shipping fee (in hot summer months they ship with ice packets to keep the chocolate from melting). I was hesitant because it seemed amazing it would have helped so many health conditions. So, to my amazement, I did my research and found 3 Western medical sites that said yes to many of what they were stating. So I started taking 1 teaspoon on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. The very first day I had a tremendous amount of energy, my eyes were no longer as dry (I was putting eye drops 3 x a day per my eye doctor's directions) and I was feeling great!
