They are taking precautions for COVID-19, so you cannot bring your own containers for U-pick. Instead, you pre-pay for a container they provide (I.e. quart, 1/2 flat), and then you fill it and leave (no weighing). 1/2 flat was $12.50 for raspberries, blueberries, and boysenberries. They ask everyone stay at least 6' apart. It has never been too crowded, so it is rather easy to maintain your distance and pick where you please. The fruit is delicious, and right now there are plenty of raspberries and blueberries!

I really wish my dad was there with me...the band was playing all his favorites...Dylan, James Taylor, Carole King, etc. it felt like he was with me. It was raining a little bit, but hey, it's Portland. I came prepared with a windbreaker. It wasn't that bad though. I walked throughout the Market and looked at the offerings. There was a lot of 3-d printed items and crocheted items. Unfortunately I didn't have much money to spend so I window shopped a bit then I went back to Ocean Drive...they were really good and I gave them a good tip. It was definitely a really nice and relaxing way to spend a couple hours.

Fresh produce (get there early if you want flats of blueberries as they sell out quickly and there's always a long line), bakery goodies, spirits, handcrafted items plus the prepared food is amazing too. Have breakfast burrito and a good latte, listen to live music, people watch, and then get some lunch before leaving. You can make a full day of it then go home and take a nap! My reason for four stars is the parking situation. The market is so huge and the lack of parking is what keeps me away. Nothing but street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods and many of the neighbors aren't happy about it and sometimes downright hostile (who can blame them?) Even the handicapped parking is woefully inadequate. Definitely worth a visit despite the parking issues.

I was hesitant because it seemed amazing it would have helped so many health conditions. So, to my amazement, I did my research and found 3 Western medical sites that said yes to many of what they were stating. So I started taking 1 teaspoon on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. The very first day I had a tremendous amount of energy, my eyes were no longer as dry (I was putting eye drops 3 x a day per my eye doctor's directions) and I was feeling great! I also started using the cream (which has a light grapefruit scent) I have eczema and was dealing with a 3 month breakout that no matter what I did it just wouldn't go away. After 3 days of using the cream, it went away, and it has not come back in 6 weeks of using their fabulous products! If you want energy (naturally), have eczema or psoriasis, have dry eyes start taking this DELICIOUS Royal Jelly Honey and if you want soft skin and may I add reduced wrinkles you need to use this fabulous cream! Anyhow we are tea drinkers in nature and didn't get any sense of aroma. It might taste better if you fool yourself that the owner isn't American, up to your judgement ;) I know because I have good friend from Kenya. Many authentic women/minority for good cause out there that you can prove. Gimmicks are everywhere be careful. My recommendation for loose tea to take home; Tea is originated in Asia- here in Beaverton there are great options 1. Asian market for Oulong, Jasmine, Puerh, or 2. Apna Indian market for Chai, or 3. Uwajimaya for authentic matcha, Genmaicha, etc. Educate yourself go get a real deal. You pay a lot less for good stuff plus organic options, get air tight tin containers from Michaels, best consume within a year. And honey from farmers market is real local. Don't be fooled. Talk to the people who make things, not the repacking business. Afternoon tea? Invest in a set of tea pot, order British earl grey, grab pastries from New Seasons and do better yourself or if you have a lot of money left grab a flight to London, skip the fake expensive ones. Their sign said they had hot chocolate and tea, and I thought to myself: ... who can say no to that? The first impression of the shop was good. It was cute, clean, and spacious. On one wall you got array of tea on display, and on the other side you have the tea station along with a chocolate display case. Anne (with an e!) was there to greet us. She briefly introduced herself and explained what they had to offer today. Unfortunately the chocolates were very popular, so the case was a bit empty and we didn't get to try them. We ended up getting two Lavender Fog lattes and they came in super cute pink cups. My cousin was really impressed with the foam on top, since it was super fine and she just loved it! I also enjoyed my London Fog as well. However, If I can give one bit of feedback, I'd love to be able to control the sugar level. The tea latte was good, but it was so sweet that it muted my sense of taste a little. I understand that everyone has a different preference for sugar level, but I have been on a low sugar diet for years. So I think it would be very beneficial for a customer to order full/half/low sugar to their individual tastes. Otherwise the tea latte was nice and warm, and the flavor was enjoyable. Personally I'm very interested in doing high tea with my girlfriends. It sounded like it'd be a fun experience. Also from what I'd heard from Anne, they serve sandwiches, treats, and chocolates, soup, salad and unlimited tea. I don't know about you, but that sounds like a dream to me! If I ever try their high tea, I'll post about that experience too. Like many reviewers have addressed, this shop opened during the height of COVID. The phone employee was extremely friendly and double checked even though they thought the seasoning was in stock. Recently the chain added hot pizzas back, which hopefully will reflect more good things to come in deli. We've also bought a birthday cheesecake at the bakery and they tossed in a white chocolate stamped medallion for free on another visit.

Many times I've seen it and many times I've avoided it. But now I regret not checking it out the first time they opened up a few years ago. Here's a few tips and details: * Parking * Most folks park in the New Seasons parking lot, or down the residential streets. The times I've been here, the lot has never been full. So I've never had any issue finding parking. * Favorite Vendors * ~ The Pie Guy - out of North Plains. If you yelp that, you'll see why he's different. Love their variety of pies. ~ Pilgrim's Roasted Nut'z - Another North Plains favorite! You can literally go nuts buying more than one bag. ~ Kookido - UGH, mochi-filled cookies! I'm a mochi lover and chewy soft cookie kind of guy. These are heaven in a container! ~ Pablo Munoz Fruits - I'm all about their peaches and berries! ~ Martinez Family Farms - Come here early for these guys. They always have a long line to pay. ~ Favorite Produce - I dig their fresh flower bouquets. ~ Helvetia Vineyards & Winery - Another local wine favorite. Try a sample! ~ Baird Family Orchards - mmm mmm, gotta love them peaches! Especially their Sweet Sue yellow peaches. ~ Our Little Farm and Nursery - Haven't bought anything from these guys, but they're the ones that freshly roast peppers. They wrap up fat burritos (and more) and their salsas are simply el mejor! For the most part, if it's a hot summer day, the market can close a bit early due to excessive heat. I absolutely love visiting Orenco Station - Hillsboro market for the first time last weekend. From…read morethe moment you step foot into the market, you're greeted with the vibrant colors of fresh produce, hand-craft goods, yummy food, and more! It's a good opportunity to support local and small. Parking wasn't an issue as there is desinated parking areas in apartment lots in front of the market. My favorite part was the local food vendors! We grabbed momos (delicious), tacos (best tacos in Oregon in my opinion), and hummus. HIGHLIGHT OF MY WEEKEND! S/O to Ochoa Catering and Events and Hummus Spot for putting my partner and I in our taco and hummus era. The service from these vendors were great and it was fun chatting about how their business started. Orenco Station - Hillsboro market is laid back and a good break from the hustle and bustle of city life. We will be back!
