I would work with him again in a heartbeat! Jeff is both energetic and calm. He's upbeat, positive, realistic, and dependable, all of which made it very easy to work with him; he gets things done and keeps his promises; he earned our trust. My sister and I live in different cities from where our parents' house is located, and this was never a problem because Jeff and his staff were responsive and timely about communications. Additionally, Jeff has put together a great team of people he knows and regularly works with (in banking, escrow, etc, - all of the people who do the nuts&bolts things that bring the deal to the close of escrow). He also has a wonderful haul-away crew - fast, and very pleasant. Jeff was very experienced and knowledgeable about the correct strategy to use for our particular situation. The house needed a lot of work. Jeff recommended selling it as-is, not fixing it up or doing staging, which was a great relief to us (less work, time, and expense), and which felt to me an honest way to present a "needs TLC" house. He priced it fairly for a "needs work" house, which brought in a larger pool of potential buyers. At the same time, Jeff built interest in the property by putting it in MLS as "Coming Soon" a couple of weeks before it was open for viewing. During the first Open House, there was a traffic jam in front as potential buyers tried to park and be the first ones in! Jeff's strategy worked. Within a matter of days we had 15 good offers. Jeff walked my sister and me through them to pick out the most solid ones from the most motivated buyers. He had the potential buyers prove that they either had the funds to buy it or could qualify for a loan, to head off bad surprises. Jeff helped us pick the best potential buyer, who had the highest bid and the shortest escrow (17 days, which got extended a little because buyer's bank wanted more paperwork). All throughout the process, Jeff educated us about how this very complicated process works; he never left us wondering what was going on. He also has great understanding and insight into how buyers think and feel and act, and what that means with regard to what a seller needs to do. In the end, the house sold for 48% above asking price, with fewer than the usual 30 days in escrow! Nice work, Jeff!
