It was a Terrible buying experience…read more We were out of town buyers and our agent failed her basic feduciary responsibility of protecting us. We walked in to our new home to find an insect infested filthy house with dirty and broken windows, no water, a broken landscape watering system, plugged up drains and shower heads, a water heater filled with sediment, chemically corroded appliances, clothes and trash from previous owner, and disgusting things like a used hospital itinerary bottle, 4 year old insect traps, beat up, dinged, filthy cabinets. It has cost us 10s of thousands of dollars to correct the basics. The Long Realty inspectors were either terrible at their job or were directed to cut inspection corners or paid off. Never heard from the agent again. To us Long Realty just took the money and ran. Do not use Long Realty to buy a house if your expectations are that they will do a quality job of representing your interests and protecting you.

I came to her with a long list of weird wants and a 6-month deadline and she was able to get me everything I wanted within my desired time frame. It really helped that I was able to view houses through Zoom meetings and she never rushed me and didn't seem put out when I wanted to see houses more than once or at odd times. She was always incredibly responsive, no matter what day of the week it was. She also coordinated all inspections and offered guidance on what could be fixed and what couldn't or what was very expensive to fix. She coordinated everything between the paperwork and the mortgage broker and also the fact that I had to get an extension to come out and look at the house. I also appreciated that she kept helping me out even after I bought the house. I had a contractor come over while I was still in Texas but he couldn't get in because the lock box with the keys inside it wouldn't open. She took time out of her schedule to let him in and to replace the faulty lock box. Also, I was quite touched that after I moved into the house that I was happy with it.
