A pest or a home inspection would never have detected this, as these critters only come out at night, nor would a pest company check for this unless they were told to specifically look because of the way the bed bugs work.. They hide in cracks, baseboards, imbed themselves under carpet, etc..... The previous owner was fully aware because this is not something that is NOT noticeable. We are now stuck with having to have a heat treatment by a professional pest company that is going to cost us $1,600.. We saved every dime we could to purchase our first home and this is what we are dealing with. We have young children... thanks for a crappy representation of a home you listed for sale. The property description described a back yard with a lawn. No lawn just very sharp builders gravel. No fun for our 4 year old son. I went in and told the office they laughed. (just a note the guy doing the laughing was the same one from the repair department, Danny) They have no compassion and lots of attitude. They were very short and unfriendly whenever we had to have contact with them on the phone to comply with their needs for paperwork. We were denied a rental property because I have a felony on my record. I was arrested back in 2011 for flying marijuana from California to Texas; a drug which now is basically legal. By the way...I would have a felony if I flew Marlboros as well...just to put things in perspective. I own what I did. Not trying to discount it I was wrong but I still need to live somewhere. I didn't go to jail, the FAA investigated me and found me competent enough to retain all my pilot ratings, I got off probation early for exemplary behavior, and I work full time and contribute to society as I should...yet apparently due to my felony I don't qualify for a place to live! Amazing!! I don't do drugs...never have. I was in a bad way and made a mistake...one that seems to inhibit me from having a roof over my head and my families head. I wouldn't spit in their mouth to save their life. Unacceptable behavior.

So we noticed a rental available on There website on 06/19/2026 we really liked it but unfortunately it was about 4:30 in the afternoon and it was to late to contact them to try and get details. We started the online application just to have it ready so once we viewed the property and if we liked it we could just pay and apply instantly. So on Monday 06/22/2026 I called the office first thing in the morning at 0855. I was actually surprised they answered and I asked the agent about the property we were interested in. He stated that the property has already received a qualified applicant. So that threw the first red flag. So then I asked him how can I go about seeing a different property. He stated we have to fill out and pay for the application a $50 charge to even look at anything. He tried to make it sound good by saying once we qualify then we have access to all there listinings. I told him we are only in the market for a 4 or 5 bedroom and we have no desire to go for anything less than that. And he stated that they do not have the time to show the house to every person interested. Which I understand but I stated why wouldn't you atleast offer 1 open house then atleast you gave people an option to view the home. But buy this time I have already realized this company does not care they just want the money. So basically they kept this house on the market all weekend and still today it is listed as available on 06/23. They are taking $50 a pop from people filling out applications on line. They dont even have the decency to change the status to pending. Like I said I did not fall for there crap. Please be careful people because they are making money off your Application fee ​at its truly wrong and shouldn't be legal.
