I have gone to Dr. Reaves a couple times in the past for basically the same neck issue. The first time around I could barely turn my head before the appointment which she was able to provide immediate relief for and straightened it out after a few sessions. I ended up back about a year later but this time she really worked with me to solve the underlying problem which was largely my posture. She has helped me greatly to fix that using various exercises, stretches, and being more mindful in general. I feel 100% better after working with her at this point. I would highly recommend her to anyone with back or neck issues. She has great bedside manner and is very realistic about treatments. Also, Emma Bush, the in-house masseuse is excellent as well. Dr. Reaves is the very best! I came in with a back issue which she fixed over time. Back feeling good... go lift heavy stuff packing, & moving... Dr. Reaves to the rescue. She knew how much pain I was in as my hips were1in off and I was limping badly and squeezed me in to her schedule. She always found time to help me when I was in pain. I was on a monthly adjustment which she recommend when I screwed up my back again by spraining my ankle & simultaneously twisted my back. Dr. Reaves is absolutely why my ankle is slowly but surely healing. It's a nasty upper ankle sprain and Dr. Reaves was able to ascertain it was not broken or fractured with her tuning fork tool. Pretty sure this is not the professional term but she used for the "Boomerang of Pain" to break up the blood and muscle so there was no scar tissue. It hurts... but pretty sure it hurts more as you get older if not properly cared for. Dr. Reaves has given me a bunch of home physical exercises to do. Along with that she asked me to to do an ankle swelling test & email her what happens. I have never had a chiropractor or regular Dr. do that. I've NEVER had a Dr. care as much about my issues like Dr. Reaves. Seeing her is like visiting an old friend. I am a huge fan of Dr. Reaves and her team! read more

I've been going to Dr. Reaves for about 5 months now! She's very friendly, talkative, and genuinely cares about your well-being. Every visit is personable and she remembers every detail you talk about! Making an appointment is also extremely easy and they are very accommodating and flexible with crazy work schedules. The reminder texts for appointments 24 hours in advance are also very convenient. My back pain has decreased significantly -- even while training for a marathon! I also recommend the massage therapists, Emma and Sean. They are both wonderful and I leave feeling refreshed every time. The office is beautiful and in a convenient location in River North. Dr. Reaves is wonderful! She just moved into a new office on Dearborn and it's really nice. She has flexible evening appointments which are great for after work. I experienced severe lower back pain, to the point where I was hobbling around and yelling out in pain. Dr. Reaves was super kind to come into the office on a Sunday since I was in such bad shape, and thankfully didn't charge additional fees for this. I have been seeing Dr. Reaves for about half a year now on a weekly / bi-weekly basis, and she has consistently done a phenomenal job every time! I clearly see improvements over time. She's also very personable, caring, and funny and makes it feel like we are friends. Before Dr. Reaves, I've always been fairly inflexible and constantly have a minor back pain, and I just thought it was normal because I was "born rigid" and work out a lot so soreness and tightness after working out is totally normal right? Then one day I thought I should probably get something checked out when I had some serious back pain after doing a lot of squats, even though my quads and glutes were relatively fine. I've never seen a chiropractor before and just wanted to give it a try - probably one of the best decisions I've made in my life. With her adjustments, I now barely ever suffer from a tight spine even after intense work out sessions. It's mind blowing to think that I assumed all the back pain was normal, until she has shown me the light.... Further, I also got a lot more flexible and have much bigger range of motion, which is super helpful when I dance. Found Dr. Reaves at a pop-up yoga event, and decided to come in after receiving great advice the event. Since then, I've been going to her for over a year! New office is beautiful and right in the heart of downtown, so very convenient for those with offices in the area. She's expanded her services, so outside of my monthly massage therapy and alignment adjustments, I look forward to trying acupuncture. I get awful knots in my back from working out, and her and massage therapist Emma always pay attention to my needs, customizing the experience each time, and using a variety of tactics to make sure I leave feeling less pain and more at ease. I've been going to Dr. Reaves since the beginning of January and I've noticed a major improvement in my headaches, backaches, and quality of sleep. Not only does she do fantastic adjustments, she also gives exercises to do at home or at the gym for maintenance, and she explains what your desk ergonomics should be. After living with a severely stiff neck for the last 3 months, I decided it was time to seek outside help. I've never been to a chiropractor so cannot compare my experience elsewhere, but Dr. Reaves has been a great introduction. After about 4-5 visits, my neck is better than it was prior to my injury -- significant increased mobility. Best of all, I'm armed with exercises and stretches to help ensure it doesn't happen again. This is important because many people don't think of chiropractic practice to be any more than cracking of back and joints; to the contrary, Dr. Reaves takes a more wholistic approach, attempting to identify the root cause (and brainstorming necessary changes), performing chiropractic adjustments, as well as providing exercises to strengthen surrounding muscles so that the body doesn't have compensate for the weakness which often results in the injury. This place is amazing! I've had upper back pain for a long time because my first rib cage on my right side was higher than it should be. I had asymmetrical shoulders. Dr. Reaves is top notch! I injured my lower back last year and basically entered A Tale of Three Chiropractors. The first was alright, but didn't take much time to understand my history or tailor treatment to me as an individual. After a few months of regular adjustments and treatments from him, I felt like something was missing and decided to find someone else. The second guy seemed to think my back was just a lost cause and I'd need to go to him several times per week for the rest of time (he also made me feel uncomfortable with a lot of comments about my body... but that's another story!) Although both of these chiropractors helped me get some pain relief, I still wasn't fully healed and was starting to feel hopeless. I thought maybe it was time to just accept my new limitations. But after seeing the great reviews for Dr. Reaves and seeing how close her office is to where I live, I decided to give it one more try. Thank goodness I was so persistent! I worried about being seen as a "doctor hopper" for being on my third provider but Dr. Reaves was super cool about it. I explained my situation and she was very thorough in her initial assessment. She never made me feel judged or hopeless. She also took the time to look at my lifelong scoliosis and explored how it was impacting my recovery process. She put the power back in my own hands too by teaching me the Mackenzie Method of stretching and helping me learn to use it at home so now I have lots of tools for maintaining a healthy, flexible back! I recently started seeing her less frequently just for maintenance because I feel so much better and am completely back to doing all of the activities I used to love! I wish I could give more stars than 5. I really hurt my back badly a few weeks back doing deadlifts. I could barely walk and struggled significantly just to stand up.
