I have only felt as beautiful as I did on the day of my photoshoot one other day in my life: my wedding day. The wonderful HMUA and photographer at Rebecca Lynn helped me see myself the way my husband does. I absolutely loved the experience and would 100% do it again. I won one of the photography sessions with a $750 credit towards artwork. I knew going in that the art was going to be an investment, and I prepared myself by chatting with someone beforehand who provided me with a product guide and pricing sheet before my appointment. This helped me understand the cost structure and plan my budget ahead of time. I'll be honest -- if I hadn't had that price sheet beforehand, I would have had major sticker shock. Prices range from $1k-$10k without the $750 credit, so prepare yourself: this isn't cheap. But the experience is worth every penny. I honestly wasn't expecting to love these photos as much as I did. I'm a very modest person, and this was way outside my comfort zone. But for anyone on the fence about doing a boudoir shoot: do it. You will not regret it. read more

The staff where both super friendly and happy to have us there. They did my wife's hair and make-up first and she looked amazing(as always). They really glammed her up. Awesome experience. Husband and I went for a photo shoot together and it was great. The communication is top notch in the lead up to the actual shoot. Everything was broken down into steps which made it less overwhelming. Once on site, the staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. The MUA was so sweet and did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. She was able to get us past our initial nervousness and really made us feel comfortable and like it was just the two of us. If you want to feel like you're in a que for the DMV, have little say in what you wear, and be charged double what any other place charges... this place is for you! Seriously can not believe how unprofessional they were. It would be okay if the price matched the low level of service, but they charge astronomical prices and won't tell you what it'll cost till the time you're done. Very unethical business. BEWARE - ASK FOR ALL PRICING PACKAGES AND A LA CARTE OPTIONS IN WRITING BEFORE YOUR SHOOT. I was initially quoted $1,700-$1,900 for images and a $250 glam fee back in March. I declined scheduling a shoot at that time due to finances and let them know I would reach out in the summer months closer to my wedding since this was a gift to my Fiancé. A few weeks later they reached out with a "$99 glam special if I booked within two weeks" and no updated pricing or product guide was ever provided before my appointment, only a prep guide. Glam team was great. After completing the shoot and selecting my photos, I was presented with a bill more than three times what I had been led to expect and was told there were no other options for all the digital images. When I questioned the cost, I wasn't given clear pricing explanations, I was immediately encouraged to finance the purchase instead. I also specifically asked the sales consultant whether there was a less expensive print option for less pictures or if it was the same for all images and was told it was the same cost for all images. This business's sales process relies on getting you emotionally invested in your photos before revealing the true cost. If pricing is not clearly disclosed until you're sitting in your ordering appointment, that's a MAJOR red flag. Communication after my shoot was equally poor. I waited almost 7 weeks for my finalized images and struggled to get anyone on the phone when asking for a phone call to discuss. The owner responded to my text when asking for a phone call back, and she said my images had been uploaded to my link weeks ago and the email could have landed in spam, but I was not notified via email of the edited images and there was nothing in spam. She became extremely condescending through text when I told her that I never got a new email with my finalized images, nothing was in spam, and I was not given clear pricing. She repeatedly refused to speak with me and continued to text me after I stated I wanted a phone call. Her texts were completely unprofessional and I told her that. My Fiancé and I were told by her image editor and manager later on Rebecca couldn't take a phone call since she was "out of the country" and "that's why Rebecca hired a manager to handle these things". As a business manager myself, if the matter needs escalated to the business owner, you do so to make it RIGHT. Integrity is everything as a business owner. After the image editor escalated my concerns to management after waiting for almost two months for images, I was informed that there actually WAS a lower-priced digital print option, for six images, that had never been offered to me. That left me questioning whether I had been presented with all of my available purchasing options from the beginning. After several phone calls between my Fiancé and myself, the image editor, and business manager, management eventually admitted there was a "disconnect" during my sales appointment after reviewing camera footage and refunded $1,000, calling it a "training opportunity", but that doesn't change the fact that transparent and honest pricing should have been provided upfront. After waiting two weeks for my refund without a follow-up, I text their office line asking when it would be completed since the owner doesn't like to answer the phone, and within two hours of my text my refund was completed and I was notified by Affirm. I didn't receive a text from them until the next day stating they're unsure how long refunds take with Affirm and to check with Affirm, but it was refunded. Affirm issues refunds same day if it's a business day, so I know my refund was not issued until I reminded them with my text. Pretty mind blowing. Do yourself a favor: request the complete price list and package guide in writing BEFORE you book or before your photoshoot. Do not assume the final cost will match any verbal estimate. I would never recommend this studio based on my experience and I am sad to see others sharing a similar experience after looking into further reviews. read more

Told we were selected for a complimentary photo shoot ( Tell us why you would like this photo shoot . Went into detail about my life story and how I almost died . I explained I was starting over in life and this would be great. We put down a 200 deposit. We drove for 3 hours . Hair great, photographer amazing . With what we " won" and the money we put down It would be close 1,000.00 in photos. A few weeks later we got the call and what I can explain as ( felt like I was buying a car I could never have sales. ) The high pressure try Affirm, Klarna , After pay high interest credit. Which in my story I was up front and saying started over thats why " my story was chosen" and I thought I won. (Completely my fault and not reading the reviews ) . We ended up getting 3 pictures YES 3 pictures out of 45 photos for 1,000.00 !!! So buyer beware. Other people have heard the same gimmick! I don't even know where to start, so I'll start where the lies began: the website. Soft lighting, glowing parents-to-be, tasteful drapery, serene smiles. What I got instead was a three-hour endurance test that felt like a social experiment designed to see how much humiliation a pregnant person can tolerate before crying in public. First red flag: the studio smelled like a weird combination of mildew, cheap incense, and something fried. Not soothing incense. More like "basement yoga studio that failed a health inspection." The waiting area was one folding chair, a half-deflated exercise ball, and a coffee table stacked with outdated parenting magazines from a time when people still argued about whether seatbelts were optional. The photographer arrived 22 minutes late, iced coffee in hand, no apology, and immediately told me I was "carrying low in a challenging way." Cool. Awesome. Great start. She then suggested I try on "one of their gowns," which turned out to be a collection of stretched-out, sweat-stained dresses in a communal plastic bin labeled FLOWY. One had a mysterious dark spot on the hem. Another smelled like someone else's perfume and regret. The shoot itself was chaos. The lighting equipment flickered like we were in a low-budget horror movie. Every pose involved me balancing on one foot, twisting at an angle that no third-trimester spine should attempt, while being told to "relax my face" as my calf cramped. At one point, she asked me to "look lovingly into the future" while aiming a fan directly at my eyes so hard my contacts nearly achieved escape velocity. My ex fiancé--who insisted this was a "once in a lifetime investment"--kept checking the clock and sighing loudly every time the photographer stopped to scroll through her phone. We were charged extra for "artistic direction," which apparently meant her saying things like, "Hmm, no... that's not it," without ever explaining what it was. Then came the props. Oh god, the props. A chalkboard with misspelled words. A plastic flower crown that shed glitter directly into my hair. A wooden crate that wobbled so badly I thought I was going to give birth mid-pose. When I asked if we could stop for a bathroom break, I was told, "Let's just get a few more while you're in the zone." I was not in a zone. I was in survival mode. The final reveal took four weeks to arrive and each picture cost $100 to remove their watermark. Every photo was either aggressively overexposed or so dark I looked like a ghost haunting my own pregnancy. My skin tone was unrecognizable. My expressions ranged from "hostage video" to "someone just told me bad news." One image actually caught the photographer's reflection in a mirror, staring directly at the camera like a judgmental spirit. And the price. Dear god, the price. The package somehow ballooned with "mandatory upgrades" I was never told about. They were not upfront on how much it costed and forced us to pay more than we afford. Honestly, they did not take no for an answer. It felt like high school dating all over again. We were bullied into paying way too much and had to finance it on credit with an extremely high interest rate. I can't believe we spend so much money on something so stupid. Which brings me to how I'm writing this review. It all culminated in a bill so high it started an argument on the drive home that never really ended. After seeing the photos, my ex fiancé completely lost it. Yelling turned into shoving, shoving turned into being grabbed and ultimately I was kicked in the stomach and fell down the stairs, all because I wanted maternity photos. He took all my baby stuff and clothes and threw it out on the front lawn. Now I'm sitting on the front lawn, shaking, writing this with swollen fingers and mascara streaked down my face. I have nowhere to go and the sprinklers are about to turn on in 5 minutes. If you're pregnant, vulnerable, emotional, or attached to someone who thinks money matters more than your dignity--do not come here. These photos didn't capture joy, love, or anticipation. This business is very deceptive and scammy. They take advantage of women in their most vulnerable times, and push them to make a decision quickly on large sums of money. I was told I won a promotional giveaway for a free session and an extra $750 to spend on photos after. I booked thinking I had actually won something incredible. I went to the booking and their stylists and photographers were actually very nice. But what happened after was not. I went through all my photos and when it came time to buy them, the lowest package I could buy was 2 thousand dollars. And that would only get my 12 photos!! This is outrageous and I told them it's much more than I expected. They then said the only way to get my full album was to purchase a package and add on an additional $750 to get the online album (unedited mind you). I was 7 months pregnant and hormonal and instead of letting me have any time to truly think it over, they instead pushed through to purchase quickly. I felt trapped and taken advantage of and felt if I didn't say yes, then I wouldn't get anything for what I supposedly 'won'. Immediately after hanging up I felt like someone had punched me in the gut. I then texted 10 minutes later to ask not to go through with this charge, that instead I needed the money for my child coming soon. They ignored me. Instead they continued to send out my photos 40 minutes later so that I couldn't say I didn't receive anything and force me into forfeiting the right to get my money back. They finally responded the next day and told me it's normal to feel this way and I would like the photos again later. Very disrespectful and ignorant of my plight. They did not want to listen to me. They did not want to help me. They only wanted my money and do not care about you as a person or your life. I tried many times to tell them I did not want the photos and to not send them to me, but they did not listen because they do not care about you. Do not ever go to them, especially if you 'won'. read more

As a former Wedding Planner/Event Manager, I was excited to bring my close girl friend to the Wedding Expo here in Tri-Cities to experience the fun of going to a Wedding Expo and meeting different vendors. As most Brides do, she submitted her information to different vendors for raffles, complimentary gifts etc. She received a call from Rebecca stating that she was chosen for a complimentary Boudoir photoshoot and was absolutely ecstatic! Rebecca told her that in order to book this complimentary session, she would need to put down a $200 refundable deposit. After she paid the $200 deposit, she received an email with the contract stating the deposit would go towards the photo collection with the choices of 10 photos for $899 of 65 photos for $9,999. Confused as to how either of those packages relates to a service being complimentary, we called Rebecca and asked her to explain. Rebecca said, "well you're basically getting $200 off the collection prices". After reading further through the contract, it states that if canceled you will ADDITIONALLY be charged $379 from the card that deposit was paid with to cancel. $579 FOR UNUSED COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES. Upon calling the wedding expo to notify them of this Vendor and absolutely misleading, "complimentary" $579 session, they said that they have had other brides calling to report this as well. Shame on you for ruining this experience for Brides to be and taking advantage of them by requiring a $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit prior to receiving or being able to review a contract. **Complimentary: given or supplied free of charge. read more

I had the best time EVER yesterday at my appointment! I felt comfortable the moment I walked in and all the ladies on staff were super helpful, kind, understanding, and such lovely personalities! I never thought in a million years I would do anything like this! I am so glad I did ! I was able to PICK my photos same day! Best part i was mind blown with my photos and how HOT I looked WITHOUT any AIR BRUSHING OR EDITING . I said out loud " now way that is me!!". The photo shoot itself was amazing! The photos turned out beautiful and the photographer made me feel comfortable and posed me well. But... they lied to me when it came to pricing and then tried to gaslight me afterwards. When I listened to the phone call and was able to prove I was lied to, they just stopped responding and ignored me. They never refunded my $250 deposit to keep my appt (which was all I asked for, even though based on their original pricing quote, I should've gotten an extra photo, as well as a refund). They ended up charging me $1,000 for ONE digital photo, when they originally said the cost would be $375 for individual photos. They also said their packages started at $1,990, when really it was $2,990. So unfortunate to have such a good experience turn so ugly at the end over money (and dishonesty). All I wanted was for them to do what they said they would when I agreed to the terms. Their packages range from $3,000 - $9,000. I was born into a cult and before I was old enough to form a thought of my own, I was taught that my body is not my own and that what happens to it is rarely up to me. I left as soon as I could legally do so. Time has passed. I've grown stronger. I've educated myself. I've dismantled much of what I was taught, but deep down the misogyny I was raised on has been a really difficult one for me to shake. I have been trying my best to build a loving relationship with myself and my body for some time. I've read a lot. I've practiced my affirmations. I've meditated. I've been to therapy. I've worked out. I've tried a lot of things, but nothing has ever made me look in the mirror and truly love what I see...that is until the day I walked into the studio and met the amazing girls down at RL Photography. To say I recommend them is an understatement. This was genuinely one of the most beautiful, empowering and wonderful experiences I've had. I want to thank Sasha first because long before I got to the studio, she spoke with me on the phone multiple times and spent the time to really get to know me. She answered all my questions, she made me feel seen, understood and comfortable enough to open up and tell her some of what I've been through and what this means to me. She is an amazing human being who will talk to you like a friend. When I arrived, I was greeted and treated by the lovely Tawnee (I'm sorry if I spell your names wrong) who was so kind, enthusiastic and welcoming. She not only helped me accessorize the outfits I brought from home and provided me with one from their wardrobe but she helped me into a better headspace too. I had my first ever professional makeup done by Lale. She is a beautiful, talented artist who is absolutely amazing to talk to and be around. Before the makeup was finished, I met Sasha in the flesh and we shared a big hug like old friends. When the makeup was done and I saw myself, my emotions almost got the best of me, but I caught myself before I ruined Lale's hard work. A few deep breaths later, I was guided into the studio suite where I met my photographer Alexis. I had no idea how I would feel when my clothes came off, but Alexis was so patient and encouraging. She made me feel comfortable, beautiful and powerful. I have never considered myself a photogenic person, but Alexis went above and beyond to help me, even getting down on the ground to demonstrate the poses for me. She has a great eye and excellent communication skills to make you look and feel your best. After the shoot, I met with Rebecca for the big reveal. It was at this moment that I was able to see myself outside myself for the first time. I was in speechless awe. I could hardly believe that the woman I saw on screen was actually me. Rebecca was so kind, supportive and caring. She spent a lot of time with me while I went through the nearly impossible process of picking my favorites. I was expecting to see some nice photos, but I didn't know that I would be different when I walked out. I left crying happy tears and even a month later, I still feel a positive change in the way I look at myself. If you're thinking about booking with them, do yourself a solid and go for it! I would never reccomend this place I payed 99 dollars for a session fee. When I found out my husband lost his job I told them I could no longer do the photoshoot. I asked for my money back they said I would get it back which didn't happen until I got my credit card company involved. read more
