I couldn't make the wedding, but I made it here for the wedding reception. This joint was packed, but the space is actually really huge. My biggest gripe: It was hotter than a witches arm pit. Yeah, there was some vents offering some relief, but I don't think it was AC---just fanned air. Anyway, I had a tequila & coke and joined in the fun. The audio was fair. There is enough space for a HUGE dancefloor---which is good because when I do The Worm, pop 'n' lock, and breakdance, I need lots of space. The cops made a visit at a few points during the night, but it wasn't too scary (I think they were just checking for under-aged drinking). Other than the heat, this was a nice place.

if you're Hispanic you should NOT rent this venue because per Marlene "Hispanics just act too…read morecrazy" so they turn your guests away if they do NOT show up at the time of the ceremony. The husband was driving around every hour on the hour on his ATV making sure Hispanics are not messing with his property. The ceremony started at 5pm and he decided on his own to turn away guests after 8pm because it's "not a party". Yet a guest that was not of any color was let in at 9pm! To matters worse he yelled at two 14yr old if they walked away from the party area to the parking lot "they will not be let back in"!! What venue decided what guests can or can NOT be let in? This venue was booked for 150people, at the time of rejection only 60 people were I the venue. When Marlene was confronted with this issue AFTER the wedding the ONLY excuse she has was "Hispanics are just crazy!" Just FYI Groom was White and Bride was Hispanic... WOW..

The service, unfortunately, was not. The woman working seemed almost put out by having guests. We ordered an appetizer to share, and she dropped off the plate with two forks -- no share plates, no napkins -- then headed to the corner of the deck to keep chatting with a group that looked like friends of hers. She barely checked on us the rest of the visit. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. I'd been hoping to buy a few bottles as gifts and wanted this to be a memorable last visit before we move out of Washington. Instead, it just fell flat. I'm rounding to "maybe" only because I have to believe there are other staff there who actually want to host people and share the wine and space the way it deserves.

Located about 20 minutes outside downtown Walla Walla, Cameo Heights offers a peaceful retreat -- serene, secluded, and blissfully quiet. The mansion itself is gorgeous along with the salt water pool and botanicals. There was an accident that had caused some water to come into the room. Not a big deal to us at all, it was very minor. The owner was so kind and gave us an additional night for free! We got to really enjoy the mansion since we had another night. We took bubble baths, watched movies, played ping pong, and ate dinner at The Vine fine dining restaurant (my review for how amazing it was is separate from this one). We loved how calm and quiet everything was as there were no children allowed either. The wake up service was great AND the coffee was so good which is unheard of at most hotels. ;) Breakfast was indescribable, OMG!!! Top shelf chefs are employed here! Michelle and Jessica were very kind and accommodating during our trip. Overall a much needed stay that was absolutely perfect.

I like bold, flavorful wine, and they have that in spades. I thought I hated Merlot, for being generally weak, but Terra Blanca's Merlot is fantastic. I thought I only liked red wine, but their Albarino is now my go-to summer white wine. I thought Rose was too sugary of a wine, but their Rose has incredible flavor without heft. I'm an enduring fan of their Block 8 Syrah, but the Cab Sauv is a close second. The Space: It's gorgeous. The building is beautiful, the grounds are well-maintained, the vineyard (which you can tour at some of their events) feels old-world-meets-tech, the cellars are amazing, and everything feels welcoming. Like, I don't just want to go here, I want to spend time here. The People: The employees are wonderful: welcoming, knowledgeable, happy, humble, and it never feels like they're just trying to sell you something. They're honest and upbeat, even at times when I *know* they must be feeling rushed or stressed. It makes the whole place feel like hanging out with friends and neighbors (but in a classy way). This is *not* the kind of winery where they pour, recite a litany about the varietal, and walk away. This is the kind of winery where you can walk in and say "I know nothing about wine" and they'll be excited to take you wherever your curiosity about wine takes you. The Food: I've eaten at the Thursday happy hours, at buffet banquets, and at a tasting/pairing event. Each time the food has been delicious, unique, and well-paired. And it's all from scratch, locally grown & grazed, etc. even their charcuterie boards are lovely (and a lot...you will not leave hungry). I recommend trying the flatbread pizzas off their wood-fired grill. Oh, and the menu changes quarterly, so I've yet to get bored with anything. The Community: In addition to this place feeling like a community, and growing one with their wine clubs and virtual tasting group, they're involved in the Tri-Cities community. I love when local small businesses support each other and non-profits in the area! They have regular events and banquet fundraisers for orgs like Children's Developmental Center and TROT. Oh, the prices? I'd call them good. High enough to convey the quality, but low enough to be approachable even for people who are just starting to try wine. And they do a lot of sales and discounts throughout the year. The tasting room prices are spot-on, which keeps Terra Blanca feeling inclusive. TL;DR: Tasty wine at affordable prices, great customer service, welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, fun events

I'm playing right now and been sitting for at least 15 minutes in the 4th teebox. Apart from myself on the Teebox, there are three groups ahead from green to tee ! (which is why I have all kinds of time to post this review!) I guess it's a public course... Say no more!‍‍
