It was nice that you can add additional services like message in a bottle and a date package that included rose petals, a bottle from Treveri and chocolate covered strawberries. We also had a glass of champagne complementary. The food was amazing, my husband had the ribeye and I had roasted herb chicken. It was also nice that they have a deck you can go sit outside if the weather permits. Our deck crew was super nice and friendly. We have been on their cruises many times, summer sunsets, Sunday brunches, ice harbor dam, Christmas cruises, etc. We've been there with interpretive speakers, and live music. We love to go on these cruises: the atmosphere is great, the servers are friendly, the boat is clean, nice, and they always do a great job. but there is one problem that seems consistent. One way or the other, the coffee is not prepared ahead of time. For a brunch cruise they should have both caffeine and decaf ready. Unfortunately we had to wait 35 minutes for the decaf. I will say, that it is less fun to eat those sweet rolls without coffee prior to the actual brunch. We have had similar problems with after dinner coffee that we wished to have with desert. waiting to make coffee while eating dessert is not quite the right way to do it. Now, I really hope someone on Water2Wine reads this and works on that issue. Yeah, we'll come back anyway because we really like the cruises and the crew and we highly recommend them. Especially to folks who don't drink coffee. read more

We boarded the boat early and everyone arrived early so the boat left early which was a bonus that no one was late! Upon departure, the waiters and waitresses took everyone's drink orders. Drinks came out fast. The food was good. The music choice could have been better. It was a little boring and dated. The boat had plenty of servers and we were checked on so many times by our waitress. The bartender did an excellent job at crafting perfect cocktails. This is good for a relaxing experience or if you have out of town visiting and want to do something locally special. They have a couple of ships and run different types of events. The food isn't stellar but it's good. They have a very good local wine selection. Service is very good. The price is reasonable for what it is. Be aware the ships aren't super large and outdoor seating is extremely limited. You'll be inside for the most part. Also if not enough spots are sold the cruise is canceled. We have had this happen a few times. Handicapped access is a bit tough, through no fault of their own. You do need to be able to climb up 3 steps. They can accommodate walkers but a wheelchair would be a stretch. It would be wise to notify them ahead of time if you're bringing a handicapped person. The crew will help. read more

This is a relatively new venue in Richland and loads right at the Marina adjacent to the Lodge at Columbia Point. It is a pretty good sized "yacht" and runs brunch cruises (weekends only?) and evening cruises. Total length of the cruise is around 2.5 hours. Since we were invited to go, I didn't know what to expect. Normally I am reluctant to go on these type of events, but as one of my friends says, "Free is good". So I went with an open mind. With a mimosas in hand, the cruise departed in the upstream direction. Great for sightseeing and seeing ag and homes along the river. According to one of the crew, the guests are more locals than tourists. The food was buffet style and consisted of several frittatas, breakfast meats, pastries, potatoes, fruit, meat and cheese croissants and coffee. Cocktails were available at an extra charge. We found the food well prepared and seasoned. Seconds were even available as were additional mimosas. Cloth napkins and white table cloths were used. The Captain allowed guests to roam the deck before and after the meal. In the end, I was surprised how much I enjoyed the experience. Would try the evening cruise next time. read more

We are new to the Tri-Cities area. We decided to try the cruise out. Went for my birthday and absolutely loved it. Took the lunch cruise and had a wonderful steward named Kimberly. She was welcoming and kind. She took her time to talk with us and give us suggestions for future cruises. The food was very good and so were the drinks. We enjoyed the cruise so much we came back the following weekend when my parents were in town. This time we celebrated our wedding anniversary. The food was again very good. Everyone associated with Water2Wine were friendly, funny and accommodating. One in our party is Gluten Free and they completely accommodated her along with a special GF dessert. What a great time with a cruise, a live band, dancing, and a packed yaht! The band was #Badlandz and they ROCKED the boat! The 3 hour cruise and entertainment was a perfect for my entire family, and friends. We invited everyone we knew and it was an inexpensive way to PARTY without paying for a concert style band, a cruise, and a beautiful ride on a beautiful yaht. (That band was top notch.) They also have top shelf liquor for people who drink. It was nice to get dressed up and watch the sunset over the Columbia river. I will be going back when that band is there again! The worst waste of time and money short of buying designer shoes for your dog/cat. Absolutely minimal service, horrific food, and I don't know how but they screwed up a rum and coke but somehow they managed it. It's like they shopped at Winco before the"cruise" and bought everything from the tasteless sirloin to the gawd awful cheesecake there. For the amount of money this costs (just under $300 for the two of us) I could have had a really nice dinner and drinks at Cedars. They didnt even offer coffee at the end of the meal. I shudder to think of what the other 3 food option looked like. I'm thinking that the same guy that was the " Captain" was also the "chef". 3 hours I can never get back and desperately want to. read more

However it is a complete sham on their part as they appear to be waiting for the "big party" booking or could just care less of the customers that are trying to book with them. After multiple calls since March, being told that they didn't have their calendar figured out yet for the summer and promises by the staff and managers that they would get back to us, we have now been left hanging yet again without a callback, only to look online and see that the one weekend we are there & have continually asked them about, they are only offering a lunch cruise and not a dinner cruise on Friday like the other weekends, and the Saturday is booked for a private party. They need to work on customer service for sure and we will not be recommending them to any of our friends who will travel there to see our family. read more

The service was very good, we were pleased with all the staff. We did not enjoy the food very much on the brunch cruise, the meat was over cooked and everything was lukewarm. The mimosas were mostly juice and pretty expensive. The thing that killed the vibe the most was the Elvis music playing the whole time. Booked the Labor Day Lunch cruise with 2 friends. Unfortunately, after we were boarded, had a bottle of wine we were informed the Army Corp of Engineers had lower the water level and we were not able to leave the dock. However...for some reason this just made me giggle. They provided the lunch for free, and we will be compensated with a gift certificate with no expiration date for future use. We stayed, had 2 bottles of wine, and a wonderfully prepared lunch. Our server, John was exceptional. It was no fault of the cruise boat, yet they accommodated everyone with great service, wonderful food, and smiling service. I highly recommend this cruise. We consider ourselves heavy duty foodies and this was the best meal we've had in a very long time! My husband got the salmon and I got the steak and we both enjoyed our meals immensely!! Sunday brunch is a waste of money. We were a group of 5 and the brunch was a buffet. We were the last table to be called and there was barely any food left. There were three croissants left and 5 of us. There were only two egg cups left, some sausage, bacon, soggy French toast, and some fruit. I was very disappointed with this experience. $48 per person and the food was not very good. Any and all drinks were extra but it took us 10 min to get a drink menu then another 10 min before our waitress came by. Cruise was supposed to be 1.5 hours but it was only an hour and 10 minutes. Don't waste your time or money. I've heard good things about their dinner cruises though. Save your brunch money and go to somewhere a lot better! read more

I went on the 1 1/2 hour weekend lunch cruise with some girlfriends. There were only 7 total booked for this cruise. I give them BIG kudos for not canceling our reservations and trying to book us on another date. I'm sure they didn't make a profit from our trip. We had a light lunch of a kale salad, cornish hen with raspberry BBQ sauce, steamed vegetables, with dessert of pecan pie. Some people might expect this to be a 4 or 5 star dining experience. That is unreasonable considering their set up. We all through the food was excellent--much higher quality than many restaurants around here. The wine (and bar drinks) weren't included in the price, but that makes sense for those who don't drink. I thought that the red wine was chilled a little beyond the point of what's recommended, but once it sat for awhile it was better. The yacht is beautiful and the staff is very nice. As of my review, they are still in their "trying things out" mode, so I know that with time it will get much better. My husband and I are going to book a dinner cruise for the summer.
