It is a cute little shop just before going over the causeway, and they had many tropical and seaside fabrics. They also participate in the Row-by-row experience, with their own Florida row. I always like a sewing and quilt shop, because they tend to have a lot of unique fabrics that your typical Joann's doesn't carry. They also sell a variety of sewing machines and also provide classes weekly. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area. We also donated a lot of older quilting magazines, which they have a stack at the front counter you can pick one out for free.

On top of the extensiveness of the alterations, the fabric of my dress is incredibly delicate and intricate, so I'm sure it was a challenge to work with. Tina and the other staff here are some of the nicest people. She said that they put love into their work, and both my parents and I could not have agreed more. They were kind and attentive and you can tell how much care they put into their work both during measurements and their masterful sewing. Beyond just doing the alterations, Tina made sure my mom and I felt comfortable putting up the bustle for my dress and teaching me how to sit in a chair without pulling on it. Every detail was thought of. We were incredibly impressed. Their work is actual magic! One appointment for measurements and one appointment to try it on and it was an absolute perfect fit.
